> 3 dayI have a MAME cabinet I built many years ago. I used an i-pac 2 card to translate the joysticks and buttons to keypresses. I recently got a raspberry pie 4 and now use it for the heart of the cabinet. This little gadget allowed me to do a plug-and-play replacement with my old pc that had ps2 keyboard input. The old ipac output is ps2 and (of course) the pie inputs are all usb. This thing worked perfectly!

> 3 dayI am able to use my keyboard from my old decktop pc, which makes me very happy. I dont particularly like typing on a laptop, it feels awkward to me, when I am use to using my full keyboard. It was easy to plug in and off I go! Also it only cost a few $$

> 3 dayI was expecting to buy something a little more rigid but i am glad i got these as the flexibility comes in handy when moving old keyboard and old mice. It does the trick!

> 3 dayPlug in a PS/2 keyboard and it works. The main issue I have with this keyboard is when I play video games. I am by means no professional gamer that needs anti ghosting (or whatever those top-tier keyboards provide) and I have never noticed any issue with this keyboard gameplay-wise, except when it comes to holding down keys. It seems that when I am playing a game where I need to press a button for a long time (like a racing game where you are accelerating straight, or an FPS when you are running straight) the keyboard forgets that the button is pressed and stops sending the signal. This doesnt happen when you are using the keyboard for other things, so maybe holding W to go straight but then pressing Shift or Ctrl at different times. This only occurs when W is the only button pressed. I can work around this knowing the issue (strafing or pressing unassigned buttons when i am doing straight sections) but I would rather not.

> 3 dayFor ergonomic reasons, needed to use two older keyboards that had P/S2 connectors, on laptops that had only USB inputs. These adapters worked perfectly, following the simple instructions of attaching the adapters first (to let the operating system load the proper drivers for them), then attaching the keyboards to the adapters.

> 3 dayI work with many computers and this USB to PS/2 adapter has come in handy many times, so much that I have purchased multiple units. So far this unit has worked in every new PC I needed to add to PS/2 based KVMs. Interestingly enough, while this dongle also works to allow PCs to boot headless through a BIOS that does not have an option to skip keyboard errors on POST, I found that it allowed a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 motherboard to boot with a brand new Corsair Gaming K70 RGB MK.2 keyboard that can only be plugged into a USB 3 port. Just having this adapter plugged into a regular USB port allowed the PC to boot past the POST screen into Windows 10, where the OS loaded the keyboard drivers to recognize the keyboard and allow one to log on and use it normally. Worth the $6 to use new keyboard on old system.

> 3 dayUsed this only for keyboard, did not try it with a mouse. Worked well with the keyboard except for one thing: when cycling through windows of an application using Ctrl + Tab, if I stopped cycling while still holding down those keys, the highlighted window would automatically be selected. I tried various keyboards to see if that made a difference and it did not. I ended up buying a similar adapter from a different manufacturer and that one worked correctly (it does not switch to the highlighted window until Ive released the keys). Other than that, the Perixx works fine for a legacy keyboard.

> 3 dayI use a Compaq keyboard so you know it is old. Needed adaptor to use it with a modern Dell computer and it works great.
