Arrived early and works perfectly

Product arrived and it worked as it was supposed to. Used it moderately for about a month and then the bulb died. I thought maybe the socket in side of my lamp was faulty, so I moved a working light into the same lamp and it powered the light up no problems. I bought a new lamp and plugged this Phillips E12 into it and it would not power on. I noticed that even at low light levels that this light became pretty warm. I have plenty of other Hue lights with no problems. Threw this one away having spent so much money just trying to make it work.

Im all about buying these, but I bought 3 this time of these Hue White Ambiance Decorative lights with the small base. I opened them today as I just put my new ceiling fan up. Of the 3, 2 were frosted glass and one was not, which I thought was weird. So I put them in my new fan, and ran the Hue app to add them to my network. Well, lo and behold, the 3rd light is not a smart light, its just a regular LED light! So please check your lights carefully!

These are super pricey....but they are pretty sweet. Once you get over the price they are a great addition to any of your hue lights!

Shipped to Japan in a timely fashion, kudos to the vendor! Setup was easy using the Hue bridge and Apple Homekit for configuration. My only con is that it is not very bright, even at full setting. I had to purchase LIFX strips to add more light to my pantry. Its a nice niche product that Im sure will please depending on where you install it.

I bought three of these to put in an outdoor post lamp fixture in November but waited 5 months to see how they survived the winter. I can safely recommend them to anyone else who is thinking about using them outdoors, as long as your fixtures are watertight already. I was also concerned about the distance from the post light to the hub but I’ve had no problems with connectivity using HomeKit automations.

These bulbs are WAY too long. I ended up returning them as I could not use them in any of my fixtures.

Work as youd expect it to work. The hue products are all a bit expensive but theyre also pretty hassle free, more so than some of the other smart home products Ive tried. Fair warning, if you install a bunch of these you could be doing firmware updates for the rest of your life.

We have many of these bulbs and we love that we can use the app from anywhere and turn on and off our lights while away from home.
