allowed me to use the hue lamp system in an area where 60 was to bright.

I used this in a stained glass lamp in my guest room and rarely used it. Now, a mere 7-8 months after purchase, it doesnt work. I contacted signify and supplied them with an image of the bulb and they claim that it is out of warranty. For $24.00 I expected it to be stocked in a store prior to the warranty expires and usable much, much longer than the 2.00 bulb I replaced when I purchased the Phillips Hue bulb. Dont waste your money.

This is just as great as all the other Phillips Hue Bulbs it allows me to use my phone or smart home assistant to turn on or off my desk lamp which is great!

BUYER BEWARE ! I had to return. They do not tell you that the bulb is 20% taller than a regular candelabra bulb. It did not fit in my fixture. Very disappointed upon arrival. Then I had to pay $6.00 in shipping to return it. Would be very appreciative if they would put in the description that it is not the same size as an E12. Not everyone is shopping for a bulb for an open top chandelier.

Smart bulbs are so helpful: like the ability to have a “light” turn on gradually at a certain time. Makes getting up that much easier.

I wish they had smaller size with the same connectivity. Many ceiling fans need the smaller version.

Like the GU10 bulbs, these E12 bulbs are slightly longer than your standard E12. They fit fine in the fixtures I put them in but they are noticeable from an angle the old bulbs werent. Not a big deal but something that should be mentioned. Otherwise, a fantastic bulb in the hue lineup. I wouldnt mind a full RGB version of this bulb.
