> 3 dayIts a bit expensive but it works great. We have it in our childs bedroom and when set to 1% its enough light to see when they wake up at night but not too bright that they are squinting from it. At 100% it is quite bright too.

> 3 dayIm all about buying these, but I bought 3 this time of these Hue White Ambiance Decorative lights with the small base. I opened them today as I just put my new ceiling fan up. Of the 3, 2 were frosted glass and one was not, which I thought was weird. So I put them in my new fan, and ran the Hue app to add them to my network. Well, lo and behold, the 3rd light is not a smart light, its just a regular LED light! So please check your lights carefully!

> 3 dayHigh price point for just white. We gave ours away as we did not care for it. Beware of usage with dimmers! We plugged this into our dimming chandelier and it went crazy when we dim via the switch. Using the Hue app is fine with on/off. Turning lights on/off from the wall caused the light to go crazy. Connect this into a standard lamp without a dimmer and there is no issue. The tech is good, but the price is high, especially if you potentially need a lot of these. For reference we have 40+ hue lights in the home.

> 3 dayDo not buy these lights! These lights are good in theory but they are not ready for prime time in the slightest. The main gripe I have is that you cannot use your actual light switch to use these lights in the way you likely want to. For example, say you want a nice blue tinted light in your room rather than the more yellow tint the bulb gives off when you first put in in. Too bad. Seriously, turning the light off with your light switch automatically resets the color back to the standard yellow rather than the color you took the time to set it to. The only work around are to 1) use the app to turn your lights on and off (cumbersome and unintuitive) or 2) to buy their light switch (which, if you ever accidentally use your real light switch to turn the lights off, still means you must use the app to get them back to the color you desired. That’s ridiculously stupid for a ‘’smart’’ light.

> 3 dayThese bulbs are huge compared to the usual E12 candelabra bulb. They would not fit in the 2 lamps I intended them for. My bad for not reading all the reviews carefully enough, but I do think that Phillips MIGHT mention the size in the description. These are over 4 1/2 inches long - usual candelabra bulbs are about 3 or 3 1/4 inches. Sent them back, but if your lamps will fit them, Im sure theyd be great.

> 3 dayWorks good but the dim feature doesn’t work with Alexa. Siri can dim them or I can do it manually but for whatever reason Alexa doesn’t think they dim.

Greater than one weekI replaced my outdoor porch and driveway lights with these bulbs, and so far they are working perfectly. One of these bulbs gives off as much light as three of the traditional bulbs, and I love that these can be programmed to automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn. They also can be dimmed/brightened and have a range of soft yellow to bright white light. They are marketed for indoor use, but they have survived 3 Minnesota winters outside (actually all 4 seasons including a particularly hot summer).
