> 3 dayThe product packaging looked terrible upon arrival, and the contents looked like they’d already been removed and repackaged. The bulb itself turned on when installed, however it is unable to connect to my hue app/bridge. I’ve added multiple bulbs without issue, so it is not user error. It simply can’t be found by the app, and there is no sku or ID number on the box that can be used to add the bulb manually.

> 3 dayThese are super pricey....but they are pretty sweet. Once you get over the price they are a great addition to any of your hue lights!

> 3 dayHigh price point for just white. We gave ours away as we did not care for it. Beware of usage with dimmers! We plugged this into our dimming chandelier and it went crazy when we dim via the switch. Using the Hue app is fine with on/off. Turning lights on/off from the wall caused the light to go crazy. Connect this into a standard lamp without a dimmer and there is no issue. The tech is good, but the price is high, especially if you potentially need a lot of these. For reference we have 40+ hue lights in the home.

> 3 dayIm ecstatic at how well these integrate with my Amazon Echo. I replaced my bedroom fans lights with these so that I could independently turn the lights and fan on or off, but was thrilled when I realized it also allowed me to tell my Echo to adjust the warmth/hue in addition to the brightness. My fan had plenty of space so the larger form factor of these bulbs didnt matter to me.

> 3 daySpecifically, this bulb is larger than a standard bulb of this type. Other than that, it does what it says. More generally, It seems like Philips doesnt plan to make the Hue line fully usable. I have a bunch of these bulbs in my basement office to create a sunlight atmosphere during the day and more mellow at night. I set them up with routines at sunrise and sunset. However, if they are not switched on, the routine doesnt run. There is no, as far as I can tell, switch that would offer a trickle of power to the lights so they can receive command but not be switched on. On the whole, this systems only seems half finished and theres been no real progress in years. I had expected that Philips would keep improving the reliability and features of the system, but they seem to be just sitting tight.
