> 24 hourAdded this to our kitchen pendant light above the sink, it works like our other Philips hue bulbs with alexa and the Philips hue app, but does not change colors, only dims (which we were aware of). It would be nice for the price to adjust the warmth, as it is super super warm in color and not as bright as anticipated. It’s a bit pricey for the limitations, but it looks better for the the type of lamp and we are glad to turn on the light hands free while cooking or cleaning.

> 24 hourVery easy to use with the Philips Hue Bluetooth app. Very warm light that looks great and follows the Edison bulb look that I was looking for. So happy to have this bulb!

> 24 hourThe hue of the light is very pleasant from the SIDES of the bulb, but directly underneath the light is more “green” with a dim circle in the center. I’m not sure if this is from the text printed on the bulb — if you’re spending $40 for a single bulb I would hope they can print the technical specs somewhere out of sight — or part of the filament design itself, but it would be a perfect solution for functional + ambient moods if the light was uniform (since it’s not *that* bright to begin with)

> 24 hourThese are great when they work but, these smart bulbs seem particularly sensitive to power fluctuations. If the amount of power going to the bulb drops too much, which can happen if too many devices are drawing power from the same circuit, it will cause an error and the bulb will start flashing. If the lights in your house tend to dim when you turn on the washing machine for example, these bulbs might give a problem

> 24 hourProduct photos are a bit deceptive, it looks like you can go full orange and adjust whiteness, but this gives off full on orange light. Way too much for me and I like orange light and use screen tint on all my devices.

> 24 hourIt looks great, easy to setup and all but there is a lag to turn on. I have it in a group with 3 A19 Hue Ambient White bulbs and a Hue remote to control the group. When I press the power ON, the A19s fade in as expected but not the G25. It stays off for about 2-3 second and then comes on at full intensity (even though in the scene preset it may be set to dimmed). I had to change the default power on to be the last level, so that it behaves a bit better. Once on, there is no lag to dim or turn it off (i.e. not a communication/signal issue, plus firmware is latest). Still, the delay is rather disappointing and I have opened a support case with Philips about it. 3 stars for now, give the expectation that a premium product like this should not have such glaring issues.

> 24 hourI own two normal Hue light bulbs and wanted these for my exposed lights, and these are definitely orange compared to normal white lights. The lights themselves are great though.

> 24 hourThe description of these is confusing. Is it white? In a word, NO. Although the product lable does say they are amber, in my opinion, amber is YELLOW. So I am still trying to get used to these above my dining room table. I may have to repurpose them somewhere else if I cant adapt.

> 24 hourBought a nice floor lamp with an exposed bulb and wanted the ability to turn it on and off via Alexa. The bulb looks great and I also like that you can dim it. Price point is a little steep vs. normal Edison bulbs, but I like the ability of controlling the lights from my phone too.

> 24 hourThese lights look fantastic, when turned off. But when they’re turned on, they emit a disturbing color of orange. It’s like Halloween in my bathroom now. All the wall paint in the room looks weird under the intense orange light. It’s just awful. Let me say, that I’ve had real Edison bulbs in the past and they emit a soft warm light. I’ve seen LED Edison bulbs on display at Lowe’s and Home Depot and they all have a warm glow. This is what I expected when I bought these bulbs. After I installed them, the color was so shocking that I thought, surely there are color settings in the app so the light can be adjusted, but nope. The color of these bulbs is not soft white. It would best be described as medium orange. The orange is as intense as a Phillips Hue color changing bulbs. My wife and I tried to live with these for a week and we just could not get used to them. So, we’re sending all 8 bulbs back and instead of smart bulbs, we’re going to put in smart light switches and go with regular dumb Edison bulbs. This is a shame. Every bulb in our home is a Phillips Hue. But, these bulbs just have an unacceptable color. I don’t know what Phillips was thinking when they approved the color of the light these bulbs produce. They really could not have picked a worse color.
