These lights came exactly as advertised! Such a cool subtle accent to any room!

These connected easily to my Philips Hub. They look great in the 8-light bar fixture I bought for my office. I love that I can raise and lower the intensity with voice commands via my Google Nest Mini. Overall a very good and attractive product. The only negative is the price. Philips has the market cornered a bit, and thats reflected in the pricing. Then again, having a set of lights all connected and command-able via the Nest is really nice to have.

Have a bunch of these around the house now and am always looking for sales to continue to replace all my older bulbs. Regular price these are good, (really) long life (haven’t one die yet), and fun. And on a sale they become a solid value. But Beware Amazon warehouse returns! I have had two now arrive as fakes repackaged in Philips boxes. (Amazon returns! C’mon they don’t even say Philips on the fake returned bulb!. Let alone match the picture. You’re being scammed.)

Adds a great accent to my recent project. My one disappointment is that occasionally they change brightness at random without being asked to. Not sure whats up there but it only happens once every several days and they go back when you tell them to so I can live with it

Great for capturing that vintage look with modern convenience. I have these lights in lamps next to the bed and the soft light are functional. Good for when you have to get up at night and move about but I could see it being difficult if your trying to use it do something where you have to concentrate such as reading. I do plan on eventually putting some other lighting options in the room in the future to help out when I really need to see what Im doing.

Some people dont like the color in these reviews but I love it! It gives a beautiful golden light thats perfect for the evening. This bulb is Goldie Locks, not too anything - its just right. Be advised that this bulb needs an extra step in some Routines (Hues App) as its not recommended in some native routines like Wake Up. If you want it to come on, you need to go into the Routine and select it again after adding it.

These lights look fantastic, when turned off. But when they’re turned on, they emit a disturbing color of orange. It’s like Halloween in my bathroom now. All the wall paint in the room looks weird under the intense orange light. It’s just awful. Let me say, that I’ve had real Edison bulbs in the past and they emit a soft warm light. I’ve seen LED Edison bulbs on display at Lowe’s and Home Depot and they all have a warm glow. This is what I expected when I bought these bulbs. After I installed them, the color was so shocking that I thought, surely there are color settings in the app so the light can be adjusted, but nope. The color of these bulbs is not soft white. It would best be described as medium orange. The orange is as intense as a Phillips Hue color changing bulbs. My wife and I tried to live with these for a week and we just could not get used to them. So, we’re sending all 8 bulbs back and instead of smart bulbs, we’re going to put in smart light switches and go with regular dumb Edison bulbs. This is a shame. Every bulb in our home is a Phillips Hue. But, these bulbs just have an unacceptable color. I don’t know what Phillips was thinking when they approved the color of the light these bulbs produce. They really could not have picked a worse color.

Lightbulb is really nice in terms of how it looks, the ambiance, and hue selections. However, it falsely advertised that it can integrate with Google Home. In reality you must have the Philips Bridge device to integrate with Google Home, which costs another $60! If you are looking for an equally good smart bulb that actually integrates easily with Google Home, we found that GE Cync bulbs work much better. They are also generally more reasonably priced that this one.
