Hue lights don’t disappoint. Have about 30 in our home. They work perfectly each and every time

Great for capturing that vintage look with modern convenience. I have these lights in lamps next to the bed and the soft light are functional. Good for when you have to get up at night and move about but I could see it being difficult if your trying to use it do something where you have to concentrate such as reading. I do plan on eventually putting some other lighting options in the room in the future to help out when I really need to see what Im doing.

First off my entire home is Hue. The one room I lacked Hue was my guest bathroom that has a rustic decor. I used Edison bulbs that weren’t smart. Enter Hue Edison bulbs. Thank goodness. Now my home is completely Hue, the bulbs look great and I couldn’t be happier. I pair Hue bulbs with a Hue motion sensor in my bathrooms that turn on automatically when someone enters the room. Highly recommended! If you are already using a Hue setup or would like to start, the Edison bulbs are great.

I have read that some people dont think this bulb is bright enough. Well, filament bulbs were never this bright, so what are you looking for? The color is warm white and gives a warm glow. If I wanted this bulb to be modern, it would be nice to have it change color temperatures. I use this in my pantry with a motion sensor to look retro in our old farmhouse. I also have the other shapes in a cloche and one in a block of wood with a socket in it on my desk ( World Market). I dim them down to the lowest setting and it gives off a calm, warm glow with the filament visible. I recommend this bulb to anyone that isnt looking for it to be a primary source of light, but more of an ambient accent.

I wish they offered build your own bundle prices, but this will have to do. Still great lights.

Added this to our kitchen pendant light above the sink, it works like our other Philips hue bulbs with alexa and the Philips hue app, but does not change colors, only dims (which we were aware of). It would be nice for the price to adjust the warmth, as it is super super warm in color and not as bright as anticipated. It’s a bit pricey for the limitations, but it looks better for the the type of lamp and we are glad to turn on the light hands free while cooking or cleaning.

I own a number of hue lights throughout my home. I originally had the Hue White Ambient lights installed in the light fixtures, but wanted something that had the warm amber yellow and overall more comfortable feel in the dining area. I really like the clear class around the light, and it gives my light fixtures a nice rustic look. Easy to install with the hue app. They get surprisingly bright yet still comfortable to the eye. A little expensive, but hue lights, in general, are pricey.

As with all Phillips Hue products, this bulb works well and integrates seamlessly with the rest of the system.

I bought three of these bulbs in 2020. By 2022, all three have become defective. Two begin flickering when on (annoying) and the other randomly turns on when off. Working with Philips customer service is slow and frustrating. All other Hue bulbs have been great, but these are not worth the price.

These are beautiful and stunning and work great. One major problem. The ambience ones that go from warm to cool cast a green tint on all the cool temps. White isnt white but sickly green. Warm looks fantastic but when making them white they have a green tint coming from the top of the bulb. The light looks great from the sides, but theres something wrong with the top that makes it green. I had 17 bulbs of these and they all did it. I dont know how this could have been missed, it is so obvious. They are beautiful but rendered useless at white light with a green tint. Sadly returned them all and got the non edison plastic ones which work fine.
