I think they went a bit too warm with this light. I am interested in a cooler color version of this that isnt so orange. As other reviews mentioned, this is on the far side of warm-colored. This doesnt work for me in a bedroom/study room. 3000k would be reasonable compromise between cool and warm color that I think would please most customers. Why no 3000k version?

If you are looking for one of the Edison style bulbs, double check the temperature rating of the bulbs, especially if you want the option of having anything but an AMBER light. I really wanted a cool white light source, but in an Edison style bulb. My local Home Depot had the bulbs in stock, but not tuneable to cool white. Trust me, Amber is NOT a good task light source!

Added this to our kitchen pendant light above the sink, it works like our other Philips hue bulbs with alexa and the Philips hue app, but does not change colors, only dims (which we were aware of). It would be nice for the price to adjust the warmth, as it is super super warm in color and not as bright as anticipated. It’s a bit pricey for the limitations, but it looks better for the the type of lamp and we are glad to turn on the light hands free while cooking or cleaning.

Ive been waiting for these ever since the Hue line came out. We have two hanging edison lamps in our room and I really wanted these to go in them. While they are limited, they do dim and are controllable with your smart home which are really the only things we do with them. I wish the dimming worked a bit better but overall, Im very happy.

Nice, but still very bright at 1%. Blinding at anything higher if you look at it directly.

There are an array of smart bulbs to choose from. Even narrowing it down to a smart EDISON bulb--tons to weed through. The quality, size, look and functionality of this bulb are top notch. My fixture used to have an old-school Edison bulb in it. This new bulb is far prettier. The curlicue filament is beautifully complimented by a magnified, heavy glass section at the bottom of the bulb (second picture). Full brightness is very bright (lights up the whole room) and can be adjusted as low as nightlight (full 0 to 100% scale) Highly recommended. Worth the money. QUALITY look. Great functionality. Alexa-compatible.

They work fine. They integrate seamlessly into my Hue network and function as described. That said, they are INCREDIBLY dim to the point of almost being pointless. I keep the lights in my house crazy clearly no one reads in this house dim, and these are too dim for that purpose. They respond well to the hue app and alexa, but they barely exist.

Very easy to connect with my existing Hue family of products. It is dimmable, but it is limited. I typically keep the bulb at the lowest setting because it is on my desk and the even a little bit higher than low can be too bright. I’d recommend this bulb for a ceiling or chandelier light over a desk lamp

These bulbs look great when theyre working, but keeping them operating with Google Home is a headache. The bulbs are connected via Bluetooth without a Hue Hub, and every time theres a Hue app update it breaks the interaction between Goggle and the bulbs. They cant be found by Google and wont respond to voice commands or the Google Home app. Theyve broken three or four times in the less than 12 months that Ive owned them and it usually takes a trial and error of factory resets, cache clearing, app unistall/reinstall and physical light switch flipping to get them working again until the next update breaks them again. At the moment, theyre just extra expensive dumb bulbs because the only way I can turn them on and off is with the light switch. I hope they start working again sometime soon... considering I paid literally five times the price for these as I did for my Globe smart bulbs that have worked flawlessly since install over a year and a half ago.

Vintage style meets modern control with Philips Hue White ST19 smart bulb, whose redesigned filament features an all-around glow. This Edison-style LED bulb offers dimmable, tunable soft white light, an E26 base, and all the benefits of a smart bulb. The smart bulb can be used with Bluetooth or paired with a Philips Hue Bridge (sold separately) for ultimate smart lighting control.
