> 3 dayWow, baffling. I have at least 100 hue bulbs in my house. Got these filament bulbs and they just flash when installed them. Like all the switches in my house- it is on a dimmer. However I have it set to 100% which should cause no issue. Still flashes. Dumb.

Greater than one weekLightbulb is really nice in terms of how it looks, the ambiance, and hue selections. However, it falsely advertised that it can integrate with Google Home. In reality you must have the Philips Bridge device to integrate with Google Home, which costs another $60! If you are looking for an equally good smart bulb that actually integrates easily with Google Home, we found that GE Cync bulbs work much better. They are also generally more reasonably priced that this one.

> 3 dayI have read that some people dont think this bulb is bright enough. Well, filament bulbs were never this bright, so what are you looking for? The color is warm white and gives a warm glow. If I wanted this bulb to be modern, it would be nice to have it change color temperatures. I use this in my pantry with a motion sensor to look retro in our old farmhouse. I also have the other shapes in a cloche and one in a block of wood with a socket in it on my desk ( World Market). I dim them down to the lowest setting and it gives off a calm, warm glow with the filament visible. I recommend this bulb to anyone that isnt looking for it to be a primary source of light, but more of an ambient accent.

> 3 dayI own two normal Hue light bulbs and wanted these for my exposed lights, and these are definitely orange compared to normal white lights. The lights themselves are great though.

> 3 dayOrdered an expensive bulb thats tied into my Phillips hue bridge, these are decorative Edison bulbs ,.. On the Amazon page it describes it as rated for 200,000+ hours and 20+ year lifespan? I got less than a year and a half and when I called Amazon they did not have any type of a remedy, only to tell me I needed to call the manufacture. Very disappointing customer service experience with Amazon!!, I felt it was obviously defective and that they wouldve provided me a remedy. I will not be purchasing these products again

> 3 daySome people dont like the color in these reviews but I love it! It gives a beautiful golden light thats perfect for the evening. This bulb is Goldie Locks, not too anything - its just right. Be advised that this bulb needs an extra step in some Routines (Hues App) as its not recommended in some native routines like Wake Up. If you want it to come on, you need to go into the Routine and select it again after adding it.

> 3 dayWe have a globe-type open shade and I was so tired of seeing the ugly bulb. This really made me happy to finally put in a bulb I do not mind seeing. It’s definitely stylish and functions great. We have many other hue lights (bulbs, strip & go lamp) and are very happy with the hue products. You do need the hue bridge to make any of these work with the “smart” feature (and Alexa), but once you have that you can keep adding bulbs / lights. Definitely worth buying.

> 3 dayGreat for capturing that vintage look with modern convenience. I have these lights in lamps next to the bed and the soft light are functional. Good for when you have to get up at night and move about but I could see it being difficult if your trying to use it do something where you have to concentrate such as reading. I do plan on eventually putting some other lighting options in the room in the future to help out when I really need to see what Im doing.

> 3 dayI bought one a coupe of years ago and after a while it started turning on randomly and flickering. I figured it was a bad bulb. I decided to buy 6 more for a light fitting hoping I’d have better luck…. Nope immediately they flicker, hue help told me to change zigbee channel (I did over and over, also reset my app, bridge and unpaired and repaired all 7 bulbs) they worked great for several hours then the issue started again. I have an old house with old wiring, so I’m sure it’s related, but just a heads up for anyone else, these bulbs must need very specific conditions. I have dozens of regular hue bulbs and have never had a single issue, it seems to just be these filament style ones
