> 3 dayI own two normal Hue light bulbs and wanted these for my exposed lights, and these are definitely orange compared to normal white lights. The lights themselves are great though.

> 3 dayGreat bulbs. Work great with Hue app. They are fully dimmable and programmable thru the app. You cannot change bulb color temperature, only dimming level.

> 3 dayThe warmth does make them a little less bright, but the light up the room beautifully. They work perfectly. And they have the cool factor we wanted. Perfect with the metal wall lights I purchased. They look much darker in the pictures.

> 3 dayThey are very orange. And though the app gives a massive array of hues, the reality is they just got from brighter orange to dimmer orange. I like warm lights but this feels odd if its the main light source in the room. Additionally, I use alexa and for a couple weeks both bulbs worked on it ok but now one wont connect to alexa no matter what I do. They are a bit pricey for being hard to manage and poor lighting.

23-11-2024I bought one a coupe of years ago and after a while it started turning on randomly and flickering. I figured it was a bad bulb. I decided to buy 6 more for a light fitting hoping I’d have better luck…. Nope immediately they flicker, hue help told me to change zigbee channel (I did over and over, also reset my app, bridge and unpaired and repaired all 7 bulbs) they worked great for several hours then the issue started again. I have an old house with old wiring, so I’m sure it’s related, but just a heads up for anyone else, these bulbs must need very specific conditions. I have dozens of regular hue bulbs and have never had a single issue, it seems to just be these filament style ones

> 3 dayThe description of these is confusing. Is it white? In a word, NO. Although the product lable does say they are amber, in my opinion, amber is YELLOW. So I am still trying to get used to these above my dining room table. I may have to repurpose them somewhere else if I cant adapt.

Greater than one weekOur new outdoor fixture came with an Edison bulb which looked great but we missed the functionality of the Philips Hue bulb in the previous fixture. While on a walk I noticed a home in my neighborhood had a version that looked like an Edison bulb but had the white base like Philips. No one seemed to be home so I took a closer look and sure enough it was this one. After looking at the price on line I went and swapped bulbs with the neighbor. Actually Im wondering if anyone actually reads these reviews. The bulb has survived a Texas hard freeze and multiple 100° days and still functions perfectly.

> 3 dayI have read that some people dont think this bulb is bright enough. Well, filament bulbs were never this bright, so what are you looking for? The color is warm white and gives a warm glow. If I wanted this bulb to be modern, it would be nice to have it change color temperatures. I use this in my pantry with a motion sensor to look retro in our old farmhouse. I also have the other shapes in a cloche and one in a block of wood with a socket in it on my desk ( World Market). I dim them down to the lowest setting and it gives off a calm, warm glow with the filament visible. I recommend this bulb to anyone that isnt looking for it to be a primary source of light, but more of an ambient accent.

> 3 dayAfter reading some of the other reviews, I was a little worried this bulb wouldnt be bright enough for our front porch. But it was perfect! In fact, I normally keep it around 75% and its still twice as bright as the bulb it replaced. I now have my porch lighting dialed in perfectly thanks to this Philips Hue bulb!

> 3 dayI wish they offered build your own bundle prices, but this will have to do. Still great lights.
