These lights are the best!

The Hue Hub will not connect to my WiFi Router. I’ve called Comcast and they too were hopeless in being able to help get the Hub connected. I spent 3 hrs on the phone with a level 3 support person from Comcast, to make sure I was connecting the router and hub correctly. The Hub drops the connection (all lights go out) immediately after connecting up the Hub. It’s a miserable waste of money. Philip Hue has no support team to help and now amazon will not let me return the broken item. Really upsetting. Major disappointment.

One of the bulbs does not respond to commands

Doesnt really work with Alexa. Alexa will not change colors on these bulbs saying that the bulbs dont support that. I can change colors with the Hue app. In the Alexa app the bulbs are even listed as color bulbs. Alexa support wasnt able to come up with a solution.

These lights made great gifts during the holiday, and now adorn my house. 5 stars once they figure out a way to reduce the cost per-bulb. As cool as these are, replacing all the bulbs in a house would be pretty expensive. The lights themselves are extremely easy to set up, and the phone application does what it needs to do (in spite of its low ratings). As an aside, there are some cool features out of the box, but new users may be annoyed by the reality that switching the bulbs off and back on resets them to their factory state. This is a safety practice and theres no way around it without customizing a timer or programmatic routine yourself. Additional accessories allow you to control the lights settings without using your phone.

Great value for the money, I have 11 Hue lights already. Electricity bill is under control.
