Well made and substantial feeling groomer with lots of useful attachments. Easy to use and would definitely buy again.

Ive been using Wahl, but they seem to break every two years or so. Thought Id try something new, and I really like the Philips unit. Its much easier to clean than the Wahl and doesnt require lubrication like the Wahl did. It trims well and I am happy with my choice. However, on glaring omission - IT DOESNT COME WITH A STAND AND I CAN NOT FIND A STAND THAT WILL WORK WITH IT. The base is too big for the Wahl and older Phillips stands will not fit. I am still looking for a stand, but so far, no luck. I even called Phillips and asked them for stand recommendations, they had none.

I bought this so that i would have better luck of trimming my little dog during her groomer appointments, especially thru the warmer months. She has fine hair and at first i thought this might not work, but it actually works great. Ive only had to charge it twice, and ive used it around 20 times, she is a small dog however, she does have a lot of hair and it is difficult to use any other trimmers on. I have also tried this with body hair (bikini line) and it works great as well! I would highly recommend using a guard though..

I still havent found a battery operated trimmer as fast and strong as AC clippers but this is the closest I have come to it. The clippers are high in quality and the variety is fantastic with different size clipper, a foil shaver and a nose/ear trimmer. The clippers are surprisingly strong - mowing through my beard with no problem. The battery life can be measured in weeks so theres no problem there. The only area for improvement I could recommend would be a closer angled shave with the included clippers or adjustability. That may be to much to ask at this price. Recommended

After the first use I am pleased with the results. Blades are very sharp, quiet operation, lots of guards/attachments for different jobs, and comfortable to hold. I only have three gripes. The on/off button is in an awkward location. I wish it was on top of the trimmer. Also, the attachments only have mm measurements. I found a conversion chart (attached) online and wrote the standard fractions in sharpie on the back of the guards. Lastly, I wish all the guards were labeled for their uses and not just the body guards and eye brow guard. But thats pretty minor overall. Just an observation mostly. At this early point I would recommend this trimming kit. If anything changes Ill be sure to update.

This is a nice hair trimmer with lots of different combs and attachments. I would give up many of them though if only they had a hair guard between 4mm and 9mm, a 6mm would be just about right, even a 7mm. The motor has sufficient power and the battery is holding up fine so far. My only complaint is that when cutting my own hair the ergonomics are not great, particularly working on the back of my head. The casing is slick and running it at certain angles it starts to slip out of my hand or twist sideways, making me stop to get a new grip before I drop it. It wouldnt look as sleek, but a more textured casing would make using it easier to use. Other than that, no complaints. It does the job. If all you want is a simple haircut you may not go back to your barber.

The nose hair trimmer is a dream and every other cutting assembly is very nice.

I wanted the convenience of a cordless trimmer, but was not expecting it to just be higher quality overall than the old corded trimmer I had. Its sturdy, fits well in the hand, comes with a zillion attachments I didnt even know I needed (like the nose hair trimmer). Highly recommended

We are quarantined. My first experimental subject was preteen son, then daughter with simple hair, then I gave myself a #3 guard a mirror all around job for that he-means-business look. This machine is fast and much quieter than shop ones, also never hickups, even on my thick Balkans Gypsy hair. Tips: -Make sure to check trim guard size charts with millimeters and mark the number of each for future ease of use. -Put a small container of Teflon grease in the accessory bag to grease the gap between the white plastic receiving arms on the bottom of the cutter after use. -Use Remington Shaver Saver or similar spray lubricant over the edge of the cutters before donning the guard, and apply some more in the middle of the haircut, it will speed it up considerably and also prolong cutter life.
