> 3 dayOne of the biggest downfalls of Sony and their many mobile devices is that they often try to rely upon their own proprietary media formats. This has almost ALWAYS failed for them and the PlayStation Vita memory card is no exception. Instead of using the widely accepted SD format, Sony created this card for the system. Its very difficult to find these cards at a reasonable price, even for a VERY small amount of memory (microSD cards can be had for very cheap with large amounts of memory). And the fact that the Vita is practically useless without one is beyond frustrating. We can hope that eventually Sony will learn that forcing their own media down the throats of consumers and will use standard formats, but until then youll be shelling out $80 for a 64GB card like this.

> 3 dayYou will need this to get the most out of your Vita. While you can use a smaller memory card and be ok, this is perfect for people who dont want to have to swap out memory cards. Everyone has already said this but it is worth saying again. This memory card is way to expensive......way too expensive. Sony in typical fashion has gone with proprietary memory. I do understand them wanting to control the platform because of the amount of piracy that happened with the PSP. It would have been nice if they would have lowered the prices of all of these memory cards giving people more space to put games on them. This would help raise purchase numbers if they have more space to store them.

> 3 dayIf we overlook the fact that the price is far too high for a 64 gb card and just review it on its merits, this card is great. The fact is if you own a vita, you need a memory card and the 64gb card is the largest and the the cheapest in terms of dollars/gb. If you own a vita and have playstation+, you want to have a lot of space for all those vita games that come with it. Some games can be quite large and if you hate swapping data like I do, a 64 gb card will do the trick. Note that the packaging is all in Japanese, but vitas are not region locked, so it works fine in a US vita.

> 3 dayI purchased two of these ridiculously expensive PSV memory cards from seller APEX GAMES (USA) with FBA (fulfilled by Amazon). I originally only purchased one for my husband, but after browsing Amazon and getting great deals on PS Vita games it only made sense to just get one for myself. I do want to note beforehand that the cards I received from APEX GAMES (USA) are the Asia version (Taiwan/Korea - PCH-Z641G), NOT Japan version (PCH-Z641J) like stated in the description and title. Because of this I knocked off one star as I did not receive the actual version I paid for. After reading up on differences and seeing that the G version cost more on the play-asia site (where PS Vita is commonly found), that site states the J version may experience issues with PSV 1000 devices (aka fat vitas). Now I dont own the PSV 1000, but the 2000 slim so I decided to keep the G and tested them out. So far no issues only time will tell when and if these cards deteriorate with excessive use. I was able to transfer a small saved file I had from my internal slim memory onto the card without any issues. Ive read issues with both G and J versions so whatever card I got would of been a risk either way. Leave it to Sony to make a proprietary memory card that might and might not work overtime with such a high price tag. Both cards gave me 60gb of free storage. If you are wondering where the 4gb went, simple answer is system data after formatting. UPDATE: I ordered a third 64gb PSV memory card for another PS Vita, but this time from seller cus mart and got exactly as advertised! BRAND NEW SEALED PCH-Z641J and is in working order. So far both Japan (PCH-Z641J) and Asia (PCH-Z641G) versions of this 64gb memory card has been working perfectly since purchase. NEVER remove the memory card while your device is on/sleep mode, high chances of file corruption. UPDATE #2: Ordered another memory card for my 4th new silver PS Vita from seller NuBlissful with FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon). Card came brand new in original packaging as advertised and is working great!

Greater than one weekIf you are into Digital games for your PS Vita then this card is a must. I have around 29 games in it and I coulnt be happier, no more lost game cartridges. The card also works with the Play Station TV if you have one. Overall This helps maintain a clean look on the Vita and reduce clutter. The Biggest CON is the Damn price, while a regular SD Card of the same size is far less expensive.

> 3 dayWhen I saw this here on Amazon, this was too good to pass up. Now, I hadnt even gotten close to filling up my 32 GB memory card, but I also knew that games were beginning to use up more and more memory, and so I needed something that would last me a good while. BAM! I saw this for a smidge over $100, and I knew that these were being made exclusively in Japan so I figured that the stock on Amazon may have ran out if I didnt act. Im glad I made the decision to get this. Also, just a note to other reviewers, $100 is actually a decent price for 64 GB, especially when compared to most 64 GB SD cards and regularly priced flash drives. Now, when I paid that for my 32 GB memory card I was a little disappointed that I had to pay that much when SD cards of the same size ranged anywhere from $30-$50. Another note: Its actually very simple to backup your whole entire system when youre switching memory cards. Just backup your data to your PS3 (not sure if PS4 has the ability to do this), and then after you switch out your cards, just restore your data to your Vita from your PS3, and presto! Youve just saved yourself time from having to redownload everything from the PS Store. This is done from the Data Management app installed on your Vita. One last thing: my theory is that memory cards are not going to get much bigger for the Vita, as the more memory you store on a memory card, the more likely that slowdowns could occur. I would definitely count on a 128 GB memory card to be released within the next two years, and possibly a 256 GB memory card in five years, assuming the Vita is still getting support at that time. 512 GB is going to be a stretch. For those waiting for a 1 TB memory card, dream on people!

> 3 dayFeels great finally upgrading from a 4gb I had since launch of Feb 2012 to a 64gb! Seriously if youre an avid gamer, its really just go hard out go home. Ive put off buying a vita memory card because of the prices but I finally listened to that voice in my head telling me to upgrade after all these years. Plus Ive been playing my vita a good amount lately, thanks to helldivers. Finally getting to use the download code for ffx2 HD that came with X, and many many more games. I have been reading reviews that the memory card stops being read by the vita. Not sure if its a scam to get people to buy the replacement plan or they didnt properly back up/restore their vita. I own the phat version and will update if anything goes wrong with the memory card. But for now, im very satisfied with my purchase.

> 3 dayMy 64gb card failed or went faulty in 3 days. The Vita wasnt able to reformat the card, rebuild data base or recognize the card. The seller was great on refunding me. After more research I learned the 64gb cards have a higher failure rate compared to 32gb card. If I get another 64gb in the future and if it works good Ill update my review. I got another card and it started to do the same weird issues with backup and restore fails and other issues. I returned the second one too. The $90 price is not the problem for me, the quality of the cards are the problem. I really am disappointed in for the first time ever in Sonys lack of quality control in this particular product. They really should have never invented the card if they never intended for them to work properly in the original 3G/Wifi Vita. Save your money and buy a 32GB card and leave it at that. The 32GB work without any issues and Ive owned one for over 2 years while 64GB fails in days of use. After reading nearly every single negative review (3 star and below) for both 32GB and 64GB here are my findings. -32GB cards have a 0.8% chance of being faulty -64GB cards have a 2.0% chance of being faulty (plus their are less of them out there in the wild since they are only made for the Japanese market) PlayStation forums indicate that users encounter issues with restoring PSVita 64GB cards and that they fail quite often. Just stick with 32GB and deal with the memory management or start buying physical copies of your games ASAP to save on data.

Greater than one weekFirst off let me say 64GB is way more than enough space for the Vita. I have literally all my vita games on this card, OVER 35 FULL VITA TITLES!!! and thats not even counting all the indie games, ps1 games, and psp games. The only reason I knocked the product down 1 star is because sony really is charging a lot for these. With that being said It feels great having all my Vita titles right on the system and not having to worry about space and missing cartridges. In Summary its definitely a great buy for those who download lots of titles to their Vitas
