08-04-2025I purchased two of these ridiculously expensive PSV memory cards from seller APEX GAMES (USA) with FBA (fulfilled by Amazon). I originally only purchased one for my husband, but after browsing Amazon and getting great deals on PS Vita games it only made sense to just get one for myself. I do want to note beforehand that the cards I received from APEX GAMES (USA) are the Asia version (Taiwan/Korea - PCH-Z641G), NOT Japan version (PCH-Z641J) like stated in the description and title. Because of this I knocked off one star as I did not receive the actual version I paid for. After reading up on differences and seeing that the G version cost more on the play-asia site (where PS Vita is commonly found), that site states the J version may experience issues with PSV 1000 devices (aka fat vitas). Now I dont own the PSV 1000, but the 2000 slim so I decided to keep the G and tested them out. So far no issues only time will tell when and if these cards deteriorate with excessive use. I was able to transfer a small saved file I had from my internal slim memory onto the card without any issues. Ive read issues with both G and J versions so whatever card I got would of been a risk either way. Leave it to Sony to make a proprietary memory card that might and might not work overtime with such a high price tag. Both cards gave me 60gb of free storage. If you are wondering where the 4gb went, simple answer is system data after formatting. UPDATE: I ordered a third 64gb PSV memory card for another PS Vita, but this time from seller cus mart and got exactly as advertised! BRAND NEW SEALED PCH-Z641J and is in working order. So far both Japan (PCH-Z641J) and Asia (PCH-Z641G) versions of this 64gb memory card has been working perfectly since purchase. NEVER remove the memory card while your device is on/sleep mode, high chances of file corruption. UPDATE #2: Ordered another memory card for my 4th new silver PS Vita from seller NuBlissful with FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon). Card came brand new in original packaging as advertised and is working great!

> 3 dayIts expensive, but if you use your PS Vita a lot then a 64GB card is definitely worth considering. Moving straight to this from a 4GB card it felt like a whole new world. Lol I now have all of my music (roughly sixteen albums) saved to my Vita (I suggest using a program like Freemake to shrink file size significantly), ten minutes worth of videos, most of my pictures, two cartridge based games, twenty five digital games (including two classic PlayStation games: Dino Crisis 2 and Harvest Moon: Back To Nature), and ten demos on my card, and I still have 42GB remaining. So yeah, this memory goes a long way. Simply put if you buy games for your Vita often, plan to buy several over the course of its lifetime, or are a PS+ member and download the games it comes with, then you need to consider buying a 64GB memory card. Its a steep price but its worth it since you wont have to worry about another card for a long time, if ever.

> 3 dayAs advertised but no fault of the seller, sony proprietary memory card/slot is rediculously over priced. If they had simply gone the SD card route they would have sold way more vita units. Buying a vita just to find out you need to spend $40+ more for a much smaller memory card or $100 for the 64GB Japan release only card is quite a big pill to swallow and only the hardcore or dumbest of us are willing to drop that kind of cash on something that is so specialized. Its not like i can use this card in anything other than my PS Vita. With that said, I like having the ability to have lots of games installed to fit my random desire to play whatever I feel up to at the moment. I have frequent long hospital stays for which I was very glad to have 20 - 30 different games readily available to me.

> 3 dayI feel that I should write a review on this due to the other review posted that was negative. 1st off the card works great, the card doesnt offer a full 64gb of memory but it does give 59gb. I ordered this from japan and it arrived shortly and works great on the American vita models, it has all of the space I need and more. In reference to the other person who feels that the card costs as much as the system, someone probably ordered a few and is raising the price by a large margin. These cards will only cost about $100 when they are released in the USA, the one card available through amazon prime is setting prices that are unreasonable, $175 is far too much however I was able to get one for $125 through Hananoiro Shop. If you need the space then I would say to get this card, if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. P.S. Ive noticed that a lot of people have been giving this product negative reviews, I wanted to just tell people that these guys arent upset because the product is faulty or defective but they gave it poor reviews because they are unhappy with the price. Update 3-18-2014 Ive already filled up my card and ill be buying a second one, I still recommend this product greatly and I wanted to inform people that certain games will take up a lot of space like the release of Final Fantasy X for the PS Vita which takes up a whopping 6.6GB, I do agree its overpriced but I need another one and Im just grateful that they make a card this big since the original PSP maxed out at 32GB, hopefully in the future they release an even bigger card around 128GB but im fairly certain for this format that they wont and if they did it would be over $200 easy Update 7-13-2014 The vita can play certain PS1 games such as MGS1, to transfer them youll have to buy them on your ps3 and manually sync them with a USB cable

> 3 dayThis is the the biggest available memory card on the market. Yes, its expensive. Yes, its proprietary. Yes, its not available in the USA yet. If you really must have a PS Vita memory card, and plan to download games, whether they be PS1 classics or full PS Vita games, this is the card for you. It is currently compatible with both the North American PS Vita and PS Vita Slim. Copying information from your old memory card to this one is as easy as plugging your PS Vita with the old memory card into your PC and selecting memory management in the PS Vita options. Create a backup, then plug the new memory card in, restore the backup to the new memory card. No hassle. This same process can be completed using your PS3 or PS4 as well.

> 3 daylets see since the memory cards from sony are expensive and this being the only memory card so far with the biggest storage, i would say this is the best bang for your buck. i believe the 32 gb memory card cost around 70 dollars last i checked and i bought this for a little over 100 so i got twice the storage for an extra 30 bucks that i wouldve spent on the 32 gb and i ordered this along with the borderlands 2 ps vita bunduru and works perfectly fine i was able to download borderlands 2 on it along with the dlc with no problems so yes it works fine but i would only recommend if you plan on going all digital (like me)

Greater than one weekThis memory card was an upgrade for me from a 32GB card. It has had no issues so Im pleased with it so far. The extra space is such a relief, due to all those wonderful PlayStation Plus games offered in the past year or 2. Interesting note: If you use Content Manager on PC, you might want to uninstall/reinstall it so that it doesnt get that error where it says you have 2 PS Vita systems being used at the same time. It seems to register a new memory card as another PS Vita system. That was the only slight problem I had, but it was fixable by reinstalling the program and updating the library for it.

> 3 dayThe card functions fine even though its Japanese the vita is region free and it can run with any game or card as long as its for the PlayStation. The card fits a lot of games and other things you want to put into it without any problems I recommend getting it so that you dont need to keep swapping cards to be able to play games. Its totally worth it since there quite pricey.

> 3 dayToday I got my 64GB memory card for the PS Vita/PS TV. I first tried it in the PS TV and it works fine. It shows 60GB of usable memory, which is probably going to be more than enough. I dont think Ill be swapping the card out from the Vita to the TV because every time you move it from one to the other, it rearranges all of your downloaded games, which is annoying if you ask me. I got my Vita the day it came out and I just recently filled up all but 212MB of space on the 32GB card I got when I bought it. While I think it is overpriced for what it is (like most of the other posts Ive read), I believe youll get your moneys worth out of it as you fill it up with whatever you put on your Vita/PS TV.
