> 3 dayMy 64gb card failed or went faulty in 3 days. The Vita wasnt able to reformat the card, rebuild data base or recognize the card. The seller was great on refunding me. After more research I learned the 64gb cards have a higher failure rate compared to 32gb card. If I get another 64gb in the future and if it works good Ill update my review. I got another card and it started to do the same weird issues with backup and restore fails and other issues. I returned the second one too. The $90 price is not the problem for me, the quality of the cards are the problem. I really am disappointed in for the first time ever in Sonys lack of quality control in this particular product. They really should have never invented the card if they never intended for them to work properly in the original 3G/Wifi Vita. Save your money and buy a 32GB card and leave it at that. The 32GB work without any issues and Ive owned one for over 2 years while 64GB fails in days of use. After reading nearly every single negative review (3 star and below) for both 32GB and 64GB here are my findings. -32GB cards have a 0.8% chance of being faulty -64GB cards have a 2.0% chance of being faulty (plus their are less of them out there in the wild since they are only made for the Japanese market) PlayStation forums indicate that users encounter issues with restoring PSVita 64GB cards and that they fail quite often. Just stick with 32GB and deal with the memory management or start buying physical copies of your games ASAP to save on data.

> 3 dayAside from proprietary design and encryption, this card is, functionally, no different than a Micro-SD. Sony, fearing piracy paralleling that of the preceding PlayStation Portable (PSP), went and created its own memory card specifically for the PlayStation Vita (PSV), and subsequent, console version, PlayStation TV (PSTV). While this has, thus-far, successflly prevented PSV game piracy (PSVs and PSTVs have been hacked to play pirated PSP and homebrew games/programs), it has also created a significant deterant to purchasing PSV & PSTV hardware and software due to the unnecessarily high entry cost. Furthermore, this greatly hampers ones usable, digital library to a mere 64GB maximum (which is itself a rather recent upgrade in storage capacity). At this very moment, a 200GB Micro-SD card can be had for approximately HALF that of this proprietary 64GB card. Its simply rediculous in the grander scheme. The card functions, it does what its intended, though its existence is not needed as there are better products available at a lower cost that do the exact same thing (simply in a universal form). This is currently the better storage device to purchase, but the PSVs/PSTVs reliance on this card is entirely artificial.

> 3 daySony has always had a love affair with its own proprietary storage. So it wasnt a surprise to anyone that their new PS Vita would require more of their proprietary cards. (I honestly believe that they make more off these cards than they do the actual games) I originally purchased an 8 GB card with my Vita, and that soon got filled up thanks to PSNs instant game collection. I went ahead and purchased the 64 GB card and Im happy to say that it works great on the Vita... The only reason that I didnt give it five stars is obviously for the price... $100... its half the price of the Vita itself.

> 3 dayLet me just say that a SanDisk 200 gb high capacity card is currently 69.99. Its annoying to have to pay almost double for less memory, so one has to be committed to the Vita platform to purchase this. However with that aside, it is phenomenal to be able to store a great amount of psp, Ps vita, and psx classics all on one card. I have not filled the unit yet but it provides a peace of mind and convenience at a high price. If you are a PlayStation enthusiast and like to play classics that were previously on your PSX or the newest hits this card is necessary. Users will also benefit from not having to remove cumbersome hardware such as grips in order to change game cartridges. The high price of Sonys proprietary storage for its meagre amount of gb is why I marked down a star.

> 3 dayIts is a Japanese import but most importantly YES, it WILL work on a US Vita =D Originally selling for $135, the 64GB Vita memory card (of which you get 59GB to work with) now sells for $88 to $100. Shipping costs are not included in that figure and yes, it’s online only for those who live in The States. In hindsight it’s better than paying the same amount for a 32GB Vita memory card. As the last two reviewers said, although it is a 64GB Memory Card, you only get 59 to work with while the remaining 5GB is partitioned. Even so, its ALOT of memory at your disposal. It made sense for me to get one given I use my Vita for more than just playing video games. I also download movies and Anime Episodes from The Playstation Store. Since I plan to buy the Gamestop Exclusive Aqua Blue Vita, I will buy a second 64GB Memory Card in a few weeks. If you’re getting a Vita between now and the end of the year, the 16GB one I replaced (of which you get 14GB to work with) should be fine. That will cover a good 5 to 8 Vita games, 10 to 15 PS One Games and 7 to 12 PSP Games. It goes for about $25 nowadays. This is of course assuming you load it with just games. The Vita supports MP3s for Music plus it has the camera function for taking pictures, video and screenshots (Press Home + Start together). TV Episodes range from 225MB to 500MB for Standard Definition and 1GB to 3GB for HD. Movies are usually 750MB to 1.5GB for Standard Definition and 5GB to 12GB for HD. Those things will eat up your storage if you’re not careful! If you plan to download alot of Games, TV Shows/Movies and other content, its an absolute must. DLC content adds up too so...yeah. Even so, it should last you a good while ^_^

> 3 dayThis card works like a charm. I have a the new slim model, and i sold the 8gb card that came in my bundle, and put that money towards this one. I bought a 64gb card from simply order out of California and the card came in a few days and I didnt have to pay any kind of VAT or Import tax. I would highly suggest this card to anyone who is new to Vitas. I currently have about 40 games from PS+ and the three that I bought loaded onto this memory card. It makes my Vita truly portable. I never have to lug around a case full of games. I dont even have to swap a card in and out to play a different game. They are all loaded into my vita already! Physical media needs to go by the wayside. Cons: Not sold in the USA, except by resellers on amazon. It could be even bigger! Expensive proprietary memory card. Pros: Extremely reliable because it is proprietary, stores about 60GB worth of real data, for me that has meant more than 40 games. Pairs well with online purchases from the PSN store.

> 3 dayWorks as expected. Shipped in two days. Prior to contrary reviews, This product DOES fit the American model of the vita. Has 64 gb of space, as advertised. Yeah, its a little overpriced, but thats life and you just have to deal with it. I feel like you should have known before buying the console what storage and games would cost you. Not just say, Ooo a console! and expect everything for it handed to you. I dont think you should downgrade a product based on price. You knew the price before you clicked buy and YOU chose to pay it. This is not a necessity, but is nice to have. Especially if you subscribe to ps plus.

> 3 dayA few things to understand. 1. It’s a 64gb memory card. 2. It is for the Vita. 3. It holds a lot of games, taking into consideration that most games for the Vita are 1 to 3 GB. (Sometimes less depending on what you enjoy.) 4. It isnt cheap. 5. And it is a Sony product which is why it isn’t cheap. So to the people that are giving the product a 1 star rating, stop. The price is what it is. Go complain on Sonys message boards if you dont like it. Now back to the review. Taking that all in, you need to ask yourself only one question. What price would you pay to have just about an unlimited amount of space? I was previously using a 16 GB card. Which could hold 3 to 4 Vita games depending. (Borderlands 2 takes up a lot of space to install) Now I can say with certainty that the 64 GB version can hold at least 32 games, and still have 13 GB left on standby. The standby memory has more than my 16 GB card had before adding anything to it. (Remember that the cards have coding which takes away from the storage) Meaning that the 64 GB card actually has 59 GB worth of free space – and my 16 GB had only 12.5 GB of free space. Here is a list of what is on my card. This might help show you the vast amount of space you will have (Remember, I still have 13 GB left to play with) 1. Batman: Arkham Origins (Vita) 2. Borderlands 2 (Vita) 3. Child of Light (Vita) 4. Chrono Trigger (PSX) 5. Chrono Cross (PSX) 6. Dustforce (Vita) 7. Fez (Vita) 8. Final Fantasy 4 (PSP) 9. Final Fantasy 5 (PSX) 10. Final Fantasy 6 (PSX) 11. Final Fantasy 7 (PSX) 12. Final Fantasy 8 (PSX) 13. Final Fantasy 9 (PSX) 14. Final Fantasy X-2 (Vita) 15. Guacamelee (Vita) 16. Killzone (Vita) 17. Limbo (Vita) 18. Lumines (Vita) 19. Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (PSP) 20. MediEvil (PSP) 21. Need For Speed (Vita) 22. Persona 4 Golden (Vita) 23. Rayman Origins (Vita) 24. Rayman Legends (Vita) 25. Shooter Ultimate (Vita) 26. Sly Cooper 1 (Vita) 27. Sly Cooper 2 (Vita) 28. Sly Cooper 3 (Vita) 29. Sly Cooper Thieves In Time (Vita) 30. Tearaway (Vita) 31. Walking Dead Season 1 (Vita) 32. Zen Pinball – (With at least 10 tables) (Vita)

> 3 dayI can share the same experience as many other reviewers have, be prepared to deal with currupted data, crashes, errors, and it’s inevitable death after 12 - 36 months of use depending on your gaming habits. I was having problems with it from the moment I received it, but after reformatting it a few times and rebuilding the database, the memory card finally became a bit stable. I still encountered issues with it throughout the life of it before it finally died, just after it’s 24 month window. Luckily, I have PS Plus so all my save data is safe, but regardless, having to pay close to $100 for a 64gb proprietary memory card that is bound to fail anyway is hard to swallow. I have another 32gb card that I have been using for a few years now and it is still going strong. So the widespread complaints about the 64gb card being more problematic than others may in fact be true true story after all... I experienced it myself. As others have mentioned, if you get it, be sure to either back up your saves often via content manager or get PS Plus. The memory card begins to exhibit problems without any warnings so one day you will pick up your Vita and find out that your memory card has called it quits on you. It happened to me. Stay informed and do your research before buying one, a quick search online will validate not only what I said, but what many others have said as well.

> 3 dayPositive: As expected Negative: Delayed in shipment #Morememorylessproblems If youre like me, and you own the wonderful and vastly underrated PS Vita handheld console, you likely have downloaded lots of games (especially if you are a PS+ member). You then have likely have run into the issue of the standard memory card providing not nearly enough memory for all your games. Enter this baby. To my knowledge it is currently the largest memory card available for the Vita on the market, and while the price is a bit hefty, a lot of that is due to the memory cards proprietary nature. The TL;DR version: Sony made special cards just for the Vita in order to jack up the price. Well, since youre gonna be dropping some dough anyway, you might as well go for the highest end one which will also give you the greatest memory/dollar ratio. Simple economics, brother. My only complaint is it got delayed in shipping, so I didnt get it as quick as I wanted. Other than that, its working out great.
