PNY Pro Elite 1TB USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Portable Solid State Drive – (PSD0CS2060-1TB-RB)

I have this drive. My ps5 will not play nice with it, no matter the port or the cable I use. But it will work with my ps4. So I dont know if the ps5 or ssd need a firmware update to work properly. Update: also tried this drive hooked up to a usb 3.1 gen 2 (10 gbps) port. It will not work. So transfer speeds are nowhere near what is advertised.

I like the size, speed and the cost.

This is the one you want. Ive had numerous PNY flash storage devices, and theyve never failed me. Their storage is fast, and this device is no exception. Really fast. It can get fairly warm to the touch (not hot). Use as Time Machine backups for MacOS, and it works like a champ. PNY is very competitively priced, and they continue to earn my business.

It was a worth while product, i just wish that reliable SSDs were cheaper

Faster than competitors- smaller to. Just what I wanted

I bought 2 of these and use them for storing games to keep space free on my laptops M.2 drive. They perform as expected, fast loading screens and no issues as of yet. It gets pretty warm but that is normal for these drives. I was on the fence between the Samsung and SanDisk external SSDs and went with this one, glad I did.

I purchased the external drive to store files that I want access to but not have them using space on my MAC harddrfive. I am amazed at how fast the drive processes files. Also, the drive ejects from my MAC instantly when commanded to do so. I would definitely purchase another of the drives if/when I need one.

The PNY Pro Elite 1TB USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Portable Solid State Drive is my second external drive and does not fail to impress with its capacity, portability, and connectivity. It, unlike other drives that Ive purchased does not get hot. So far, I very pleased with my PNY Pro Elite external drive and I highly recommentd it.
