> 3 dayI love Pokemon, especially the games, and this one is no exception. It had a great plot and even if your like me and didnt play the original Black they did a great job filling you in through game-play so your up to speed by at least the half way point. The graphics in this one were awesome. It was more 3D than previous games and there were several times the camera actually changed position to give more of a 3 dimensional feel to the Pokemon world. They also included a lot of great extras and even a few cities you dont even visit before the elate 4, so when you beat them its not all over. There is still plenty to do, which is cool for a pokemon game-aholic like me XD

> 3 dayThis game arrived quickly and it was packaged well with no damage to it or the container. My husband ordered this game for himself, but hes not one to leave reviews. The game arrived as expected and played perfectly the first time. He enjoyed his purchase and it was exactly as he expected. Thank you. Disclaimer: This should be an Amazon verified purchase. I paid full listing price and did NOT receive this product free or deeply discounted. However, my review is still honest and unbiased. If you found this review to be helpful, Id appreciate if you would mark it as such. Thanks!

17-04-2025Once again, Pokemon has not let me down. This game is just as good - better perhaps - than the previous Pokemon Black. One of the best parts is the mix of Pokemon you can catch early in the game. Not just Unova region Pokemon, but a mix from previous regions too. I caught a Growlithe early in the game; I missed them so much from FireRed!

Greater than one weekPokémon Black Version 2 is easily one of my favorite DS games, its crammed full of content, has great multiplayer features, and is easily the most visually impressive title of the series. The battle system remains pretty much untouched since the first B&W (which I didnt play), but somehow the improved visuals makes me want to dig deeper into the battle system then I had in previous games. Cant think of too much else to add other then I think this game looks better then X&Y (Im a stickler for 2D battles.)

Greater than one weekIt came fast and it works and all. Only reason I vote 4 stars is because it didnt come with the original box and artwork. Everything works, and the old save data has a very nice selection of Pokemon that Ill upload into Pokebank... But the original box and whatnot are very nice to have. Id recommend you as a customer find a seller who advertises the box and artwork included in the product description. Obviously it isnt always possible to find a copy that includes that. But if your like me... Its nice to have... You know?

> 3 dayAfter the first BW came out, I expecting either a Grey version or the remakes to RSE to come out next. Unfortunatley (cause I really wanted a RSE remake) that isnt the case especially since Gen 6 was declared to come out Q3 2013 worldwide, about a year after the US release of this game. Instead of remakes, weve been given a direct sequel. Black and White 2 are the first numbered sequels of the series. Gen 2 is the first sequel, just on a different hardware (GB Color). Well lets begin. Story wise, the same begining to end formula is used just with a few tweeks left and right. Theres your character, he/she starts off their journey, battles gym leaders, fights bad guys, battles elite four, becomes champion. Everyone should know the deal. So here are the tweaks: -You start off in a city with its own gym and poke center. -Your rival wants revenge from Team Plasma for stealing his sisters purloin. -Bianca and Cheren, minus the player from BW are back as supporting/tag team characters. -Team Plasma has split factions. -Some new gym leaders mixed in with old ones. -Challenge mode (Obtainable from Black 2 only, post-game.) Most of the new areas are thrown at you right away while some of the old areas cant be reached till the game has been finished. The two year time skip is very self evident. The characters have changed in many ways from the last game. This is especially important for Bianca and Cheren because they appear all throughout the game. You see them literally at every important and sometimes even non-important event in the story. Theyve abandoned their old teams for ones that feature mostly normal types. Because of your rivals direct tie-in conflict with Team Plasma, youll see him all the time too. The Regional Pokedex in this game..... is friggin huge. Some pokemon that were next to nothing exclusive became available right away. This is a good thing for veteran players who want to start off their journey with pokemon from older generations. The habitat list is nice addtion but not something I put focus into. Now about Unova two years later. The New areas are available right away before the game is even over. The old areas look almost the same from BW. Same layout, same mode of transport, same buildings. However, there are a lot of old places that cant be reached till post-game. The old gyms have been redesigned and the conventional Gym melody has been remixed b/w gyms. Even and out, the new areas are nice but the old areas feel like Im playing BW all over again. There are lots of new subquests to get involved with. The medal system (achievments for Pokemon) is almost involutary and a lot things you normally do get you rewarded. Pokestar studios is coupled with poke musical. Your involvement will take about 20 mins but from there its free choice. Post-game is usually a good time to jump in on these. Also included after game is the pixie trio, capturing the version mascots, Latios/Latias (version dependant), Heatran, Cresselia, and the regi trio. The game does a good job of keeping the player busy. Now about Pokemon World Tournament. Easily the best thing any Pokemon game can offer. This is why veteran fans should be buying the game. To face off every gym leader and every champion from the past four generations in a 5th Gen setting is the coolest thing. This is obviously post game but a very great inccentive. All in all I like it. Why four stars? I was really expecting a remake of either BW or RSE. Game freak didnt have to break up Kyruems forms into two seperate games, it could have been one game with the same time skip. With Gen 6 around the corner, Gen 5 feels a bit short lived. Its mostly due to fact that Game Freak has put too many main series games on the DS, a total number 9 including Gen 5 games. All I can say is if youre an old fan, play it because of PWT and challenge mode (Black 2). The nostalgia is amazing and the game feels a little more intense on challenge mode.

21-04-2025This is the first time a Pokemon game is a sequel to a previous one. The story line is new, there are new towns (5 new towns) and some existing ones have been re-done (The game takes place two years after Black). The Pokemon World Tournament is great! You can battle all the gym leaders and champions from other regions. Pokemon from all regions appear from the start of the game. (my partners are Serperior, Arcanine, and Ampharos). Old Pokemon can learn new different moves that in past games couldnt (Growlithe learns Outrage). There is so much new content to keep you busy for hours on end. (I have 98 hours on the game so far) A must-get for all Pokemon fans!

Greater than one weekThis is an awesome and flawless game. I didnt have high expectations for the Black & White sequels, but they are truly masterpieces. The story is very involving and interesting, much better story than the previous Black Version, imo. Visually its basically the same, looks really good on the 3D panning shots, and I imagine it would look awesome on a 3DS (besides lacking the 3D effect). The same pokemon formula is present and it is as addicting as ever! This game contains many new areas that make it more interesting, and give it a higher value than the previous installment. HIGHLY recommended and a must have for any pokemon fan, old or new!

> 3 dayTo start, I gave three stars because I dont really like Unova or gen 5 Pokemon all that much, or i should say that I wasnt really impressed. While the region and Pokemon didnt appeal to me personally the game play was very plentiful. The features added to gen 5 and Black and White 2 were a great step in the right direction. I was upset that it wasnt on the 3DS but now we have Pokemon X and Y on the way this fall for the 3DS on an international release! To sum it up Pokemon is Pokemon and not all generations appeal to everyone , maybe the next one will be everything this gen wasnt IMO.
