Pokémon Black Version 2

Pros: +It really is a sequel to the first game, and even references the previous game on multiple accounts. +The fact that you can import your save from the previous game +More side quests to do Cons: -Wi-Fi conectivity is screwed up in this game...... this has been reported by several people I know who own this game. -Purists will hate this game for its low difficulty, as well as the fact that HMs are no longer required.

I received a used copy, and it seems the person who played it before me (because there was a safe file, and it was talking to me...spoopy) but seriously it was a save file that only had three badges, it wasn’t a completed game, what a bummer, the copy had problems working at first in my DS lite & 3DS but after a few attempts it works fine, though I hate it how it glitches and stops working at times, I don’t know if this a reproduced product or a neglected cartridge because it’s a bit scratched from the back, still happy that it works after all the trouble. Of course I restart it.

Pokémon Black Version 2 is easily one of my favorite DS games, its crammed full of content, has great multiplayer features, and is easily the most visually impressive title of the series. The battle system remains pretty much untouched since the first B&W (which I didnt play), but somehow the improved visuals makes me want to dig deeper into the battle system then I had in previous games. Cant think of too much else to add other then I think this game looks better then X&Y (Im a stickler for 2D battles.)

I purchased Pokeman Black Version 2 for my grandson for Christmas and it was the game of choice during his stay with us. Although he went for his other games on xbox when he got a chance, he still enjoyed Pokeman often. The product was shipped with the ASUS tablet that I had ordered, which was convenient since I had ordered the items at different times. The product was exactly as described and I am very happy with my purchase experience.

I have been playing these games since I was in elementary school and the first one came out. I have skipped a few in between then and now but for the most part I have tried almost every game in the series. Thus far Im about half way through the game and am enjoying it immensely. The added features are really cool and build a lot more into the story than previous games. The easter eggs related to Black/White are pretty cool too. Graphics - As usual they are pretty par for the course with Pokemon games. The 3D atmosphere is cool but on a DS/3DS playing Pokemon youre not hoping for high definition quality graphics (I assume but hey I could be wrong). Music - I actually like the music from this game. I played Pearl right before starting this one up and was reminded that I was never a fan of the musical compilations they chose for that game. But, I started playing Black 2 with the music on right from the get go so I may be biased here. Story - Excellent so far. I love the references back to the previous games. Its really cool to see those references and to have a chance to continue the story that left off in Black/White. Ive actually been waiting a long time for a Pokemon game to do that so this was a welcome addition. Pokedex - I love the larger number of Pokemon available. Also, the Pokedex features are really cool I love being able to see which areas Ive already caught and seen all the available Pokemon. I give it five stars. It has kept my attention for weeks now and as someone who can only manage an hour or two every other night or so these games are perfect for me. I would recommend it overall so if you are thinking about getting it go buy it.

Having never played an official Pokemon game before it was entertaining while it lasted (about 70-90 hours of entertainment) until theres really nothing to do but roam around, for me this sense of loss is worse than Dark Souls. At least in D.S. you can keep going through past New Game - NG+ and etc. In the end for me it was worth the price to play an official Pokemon game and capture my favorite Pokemon (Dragonair and Milotic).

This game is awesome. It has nice somewhat long plot that will keep you entertain for some time. I highly recommend this game. Sucks that you cant directly trade from platinum, but its not deal breaker. Just find someone with the original White or Black to do you favor if you dont have the original Black and White like I did. Anyhow, this game is awesome.

The best DS game yet, not just the best DS Pokemon game! The game starts up and there is no time wasting. You get your Pokemon within 5 minutes like Red/Blue, battle your rival, and be on your way! The amount of content in the game is insane for a Pokemon game with many of the wifi only Pokemon from Pokemon Black/White, being available without dumb downloads. There are familiar characters, places, and all new areas and a new team of villians to take over the world and are the ones responsible for freezing the land. You can discover the secret of Kyurem and learn of his special ability. You can travel to new cities and areas. The amount they added to the map is almost doubling the original game. It is now flooded with trainers to make leveling up very fast and easy. The new Elite 4 arenas are really cool as well! Unlike the other Japanese Pokemon games, I recommend learning some Japanese before playing this game because there were I think 3 places where you actually needed to read the Japanese text. Since this game is region-coded, in order to use PokeTransfer, you will need a Japanese version of a previous game to send them over (Diamond to Black2), but you can trade any region of Black/White to Black2. *This is my review I wrote from playing the Japanese version. There are no apparent differences other than the Japanese version allowing you to play in Kana/Gana or Kanji/Mandarin.

the definite pokemon games(at least till x and y) theres so much content - pwt muscials hidden grotoes subway pokedex pokestar join avenue black city white forset many strong trainers like cythia and n and oh.. the main game of course! unlike bw1 its also filled with many older gen pokemon recommanded to pokefans and espcially those who played bw1!

I love Pokemon, especially the games, and this one is no exception. It had a great plot and even if your like me and didnt play the original Black they did a great job filling you in through game-play so your up to speed by at least the half way point. The graphics in this one were awesome. It was more 3D than previous games and there were several times the camera actually changed position to give more of a 3 dimensional feel to the Pokemon world. They also included a lot of great extras and even a few cities you dont even visit before the elate 4, so when you beat them its not all over. There is still plenty to do, which is cool for a pokemon game-aholic like me XD
