The graphics are not as good as Breath of the Wild but honestly this is the game I always imagined Pokemon would have. This game is endless fun with so much to do. I love the concept and the timeline within the stories. It is aimed a bit of a younger audience but that doesnt mean it isnt so much fun (Im 26 and female and my boyfriend is 27 and we love it).

The graphics in Pokémon Arceus are amazing. It’s more like an adventure immersion game (similar to Zelda) than prior Pokémon games. Fun to play! My 12 year old son loves it! He finished it in 1 week! Lol!

I preordered this game so I received the Garchomp Kimono which I must say looks rather quite stylish. You get different outfits depending on what save history you have of other pokemon games for the switch. This game has hours upon hours of content and it really does well to immerse you into the world of Pokemon.

This is the type of Pokemon game fans have been waiting for! Truly immersive and satisfyingly challenging. The graphics could use a little work, but otherwise the game has no other glaring faults.

Just a solid game. Kinda annoyed that it took two weeks to ship after its release, but arrived in 2 days, but whatever. I assume thats what happens when you pre-order a brand new game.

I really, really want to love this game. Once youre able to actually play it and do your own thing, the gameplay is lovely. But its drowned out with hours of a terrible, unavoidable plot that I couldnt care less about, and the graphics are glaringly bad to top it all off. Theres no sign of artistic direction and the resolution on most characters outfits is so low you can see the individual pixels on them. Its a huge step in the right direction for the Pokemon franchise as a whole, but as an individual game, its extremely lacking. Despite how enjoyable the gameplay can be once you waste enough of your time on the plot, I cant recommend this game. 4/10.

Took me over a 100 hours to complete the game so plenty of reasons to play here.

Ok. I played Yellow, Red, and Blue when the game released in Canada in the late 90s, and subsequently played Gens 2, 3, and 4, all the way through some of the re-releases on the 3DS. This game is SO fun, it reminds me of all those original times way back as a kid playing the OG Gameboy colour editions. Would I recommend this to others? Yes!! Its by far one of the best Pokémon games Ive ever played (Including Snap (OG+New), Go, Puzzle League, etc.)

After playing every generational pokemon game in existence, this is by far my favorite. Unfortunately, they decided to remove the linking cord in scarlet and violet.

I have played a good number of pokemon games (yellow, red, green, emerald, sword, and scarlet off the top of my head) and this is by far my favorite pokemon game. The play style is amazing, I love being able to throw pokeballs at pokemon directly and the gathering aspect of the game is great for collectors. The research style is also super fun and encourages more interaction with wild pokemon than just trying to catch one of each. The open world style is the perfect balance of freedom and guidance. Highly recommend.
