I have never been a Pokémon fan, the only game I played for Switch was Pokémon Snap. Before that I played Y on 3ds which was fun but I never finished it. Legends Arceus is so different that long time fans, non fans and new players will love it. It’s hard to explain but its very much a Pokémon game but it plays more like BOTW and Monster Hunter. Maybe it was because I was already in my 20s when the first Pokémon came out so it just didn’t appeal to me but this game allows you to explore and catch the Pokémon at your pace, there’s much more freedom. There are many that gripe about the graphics, yes they could be better, but I think it looks fine. I don’t need photorealistic graphics to enjoy a game Amazon delivered game on release date as usual so I got to play right away. Hope TPC and Nintendo continue with the Legends games and make it a series and use features from it in the next main Pokémon game too.

Finally a Pokémon game that lives up to the hype and recaptures my childhood memories. Amazing game, 10/10 would recommend!

I really, really want to love this game. Once youre able to actually play it and do your own thing, the gameplay is lovely. But its drowned out with hours of a terrible, unavoidable plot that I couldnt care less about, and the graphics are glaringly bad to top it all off. Theres no sign of artistic direction and the resolution on most characters outfits is so low you can see the individual pixels on them. Its a huge step in the right direction for the Pokemon franchise as a whole, but as an individual game, its extremely lacking. Despite how enjoyable the gameplay can be once you waste enough of your time on the plot, I cant recommend this game. 4/10.

    Greater than one week

As someone who has been playing Pokemon for over 25 years, this game finally gave me nearly everything Ive ever wanted from the franchise. Open-world, Pokemon on the overworld map, free-form Pokeball throwing, easy but rewarding shiny hunting...the list goes on. Hoping they incorporate more and more of what made Arceus great into the mainline games over the coming years.

This one feels better than Sw/Sh and Sun/Moon, but thats due to the content itself. Would be great with more animations as some Pokémon could use em, especially during certain attacks/etc.

I had so much fun playing this game. Its actually hard; where a lot of recent pokemon games werent. I also enjoyed that it was a little cheaper here on Amazon than at the store.

Hands down the best Pokémon game yet! So many details and little secrets and cool things to do even post game after the credits role

I like the open world concept for exploring but for me there is way too much dialogue in the game... I also think Pokemon Sword/Shields incorporation of other online players and the ability to battle others online is what this game is lacking. Overall, this game was pretty fun but it is certainly not my favorite and feel as though its lacking a bit.

Along the way, uncover the mystery surrounding the Mythical Pokémon known as Arceus.

A free software update brings special mass outbreaks and new challenges

In the free Daybreak update, you will begin investigating mysterious mass outbreaks of Pokémon that are popping up all over the Hisui region. You’ll also have a chance to battle powerful opponents like Legendary Pokémon in Eternal Battle Reverie and wardens at the Jubilife Village training grounds. Daybreak content will be available after viewing the game’s end credits. The Eternal Battle Reverie will become available after completing all missions.
