Great sound

I already had purchased other Polk products for my in wall system. These replaced my box 60 series that were on Wall. Took me about 20 minutes to cut and install both. Super easy to install used my battery mini sawzaw. You need to know where your studs are and if a wall on other side what is there. Dont need to go real deep most wall board is half inch or less. My case I have light socket in bath. I measured missed it easily and exact height I wanted. They look professionally installed and sound great. Easy grill cover magnets are great.

These babies sound awesome in my new basement. I have these as my front left and right in a 7.1 setup. They are paired with the 255C-RT for a center channel, the PSW505 12 inch sub and 90 RT in ceiling as rears. Watching movies literally sounds like were in a movie theater. The wife was very impressed with what I chose to put in our new basement and how great it sounds.

After a long argument with my wife I finally agreed to get rid of my 20 years old Wharfedale Valdus 400 towers thatre taking too much space. If I didnt compare the sound I would say 265-RT is perfect. Especially given the fact that they are hidden in a wall. But unfortunately when compared to my old towers Polk sounds like Chiwawa against German Shepherd. Again, the sound is crisp and deep enough. Probably very good for the movie theater setup. But now for the first time I will consider having sub-woofer. Farewell my dear Wharfie...

Purchased these to replace a pair of Bose 601s. Completely satisfied with the sound. They sound great with and without the subwoofer. The sound is better than the Bose they replaced couldnt be happier.

Replaced a pair of Polk RC85s. Much better sound. As to easy of install, my builder put cross braces between the studs so fitting them properly took a little extra work.

Fantastic speakers. They look beautiful in the wall. The sound quality is excellent. Install was straight forward. Recommend them.
