Great sounding speaker! When I painted the grills you can still see the spot where the sticker was. I wish I would have cleared that better before painting. That’s the only thing I have to complain about.

Great sound from these. I use them in a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos setup with a Denon Receiver and they sound great. Sure some bookshelf speakers will sound better but these are nice and flush in my false wall and look and sound great. If you want decent sound for a home cinema and want a discreet setup, these are perfect.

Used them as my front right and left channels. Fantastic product and would recommend to everyone!

Ive owned a pair of Cerwin Vega DX7 since 1998. They were top of the line rated at the time...so I figured they were still top of the line. NOPE! These Polk speakers are so open and spacious. The entire sound stage is almost 3-D now. Wow! Cant believe what Ive been missing all of these years. Vocals are spot on crystal clear. Acoustic music sounds great. Electronic music is hit and miss (Metal, Rap, etc). Youll definitely want a subwoofer. Movies are perfect also. I have 3 of these behind an AT screen. The only downside is, since they use your wall as the enclosure...they arent dialed-in perfectly. I use the foam plug insert to compensate for this. It essentially becomes an acoustic suspension speaker.

The greatest speakers with great sound, bass is there, couple with Polks surround ceiling speakers and you have a full blown theater system. You will not regret these speakers. I have owned Polk speakers since the 70s.

I was looking for a quality in-wall speaker with a good price, these fit the bill! We now have a cleaner look in our family room without compromising the sound. Room size: 19 x 16 x 10 tall ceilings. My set-up: Polk Audio: 2 Front Surrounds 265RT, 1 Center Channel 255C-RT, 2 Rear Surrounds 65RT, BIC America F12 Subwoofer. Onkyo TX-NR636. We listen to music & watch movies, both are great!

I have a small home gym room, and was planning on using 2 of these speakers to set the mood for my workouts. For the price and reviews, I was expecting to be impressed. Ive got cheap, I mean cheap, 2 for $89 2 way speakers that sound better than these 3 ways. Little to no bass, highs arent crisp as they should be, and the midrange is ok. Ill stick to my cheaper speakers or buy Klipsch or another brand that can meet expectations. Especially for the cost!

The Polk Audio 265RT 3 way speakers complements my existing speakers well. The speakers are worth the price and the effort to install them into the wall. Sounds great with clear mid-range, treble and the bass complements my sub-woofer,

In wall speakers work perfectly for a none audiophile. Speakers installed on a stone wall and look great.
