> 3 dayI installed these with the matching center channel. Hooked up to my old Yamaha home theater it sounds great! I had similar floor standing Infinity towers and matching center but these blow it away. Also 10 to 20% louder at same power level than the infinity. Template provided to cut out the hole was perfect. My only comment would be to make sure you’re 1/2” to 1” away from a stud so that the clamps that old it in place can flip out and grab the backside of the drywall.

> 3 dayI really love these speakers. I replaced 2 really good Polk tower speakers with these so I could utilize a projector screen in my man cave. Im using them as my Front L & Front R speakers behind an Amazon purchased Elite Screens audio-transparent screen (model ER100WH1-A1080P3). However, I wouldnt buy these if you dont plan on getting a sub. Ive paired these with a Polk Center Speaker, Polk Sub, 2 Polk RC85is as my rears, & 2 Polk RC60is in my ceiling. Even though these will be hidden from view, I was amazed at how tight to the wall the actual speaker/cover was. They look amazing. It has an extremely low profile, even less than the other wall/ceiling Polk speakers I have. And the magnet covers are so easy to take off compared to all my other in-wall speakers. Installing them is easy (running the speaker wire can be the tricky part). What youll need: Tape measure Stud finder (highly recommended) Level Pencil Laser level (optional) Sheetrock saw (can get for like $4 @ a hardware store) *make sure you dont cut into any electrical, plumbing, cold-air return, etc. I installed these in the only room in my house that has a drop ceiling, so I was lucky and had a better idea of what I was dealing with. Still there are no guarantees you wont find any surprises until you actually cut the hole. If youre not comfortable doing this, I would recommend hiring a professional. *make sure to stay 1- 1.5 away from any stud. You want the tabs to fully install so you get a good hold.

> 3 dayItem shipped quickly, was received in great shape. Installation is a snap and instructions are easy to follow. For those a little uneasy about cutting holes in your walls to mount speakers, dont worry. This was my first time installing in-wall speakers. If you are at least marginally handy, have the basic tools needed, and use the provided template it will look like it was professionally installed. The speakers sound great. I power them with a Pioneer VSX-1020 and the sound is great. You will likely need a subwoofer as these do not provide enough bass to fill a room by themselves. I added the Polk Audio PSW505 and it provides excellent bass. The only negative I have is that the speaker coverings/grates are a little flimsy. They are magnetic and sit flush to the wall which gives a very clean look, but mine were slightly bowed at the bottom and are therefore not completely flush with wall. If I worked at it, I could probably bend them a little to make them flush. This did not affect my rating as I think these are excellent speakers.

> 3 dayI have 5 of these mounted in the wall in my living room as part of my home entertainment system. These things are amazing. For the size, they have really good low tones. I have a subwoofer to kick the bass, but these speakers sound amazing. I used this model for my Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left, Rear Right and Center Channel speaker. I would buy these again in a heart beat. The price for which you can get them on Amazon, sweetens the deal.

> 3 dayCant say enough good things! I bought 12. Six to use in my 7.1 dedicated media room, and six to use in my 7.1 living room that doubles as my SONOS whole house audio system. Whether its music I want to hear crystal clear, or chase scene from a Dolby Atmos movie, the speakers are fabulous!

> 3 dayI ordered all of the components of my theater system upfront so when I was running wires, cutting holes, etc. I would have everything at my finger tips. I didnt read that after 30 days you cant return anything - even if you got a defective product. Given the timeline for most DIYers this is too short of a period of time. When I called Polk to see if they would honor their warranty, they refused to send me a new speaker and instead send me some parts and expected to be disassemble and repair.
