> 3 dayItem shipped quickly, was received in great shape. Installation is a snap and instructions are easy to follow. For those a little uneasy about cutting holes in your walls to mount speakers, dont worry. This was my first time installing in-wall speakers. If you are at least marginally handy, have the basic tools needed, and use the provided template it will look like it was professionally installed. The speakers sound great. I power them with a Pioneer VSX-1020 and the sound is great. You will likely need a subwoofer as these do not provide enough bass to fill a room by themselves. I added the Polk Audio PSW505 and it provides excellent bass. The only negative I have is that the speaker coverings/grates are a little flimsy. They are magnetic and sit flush to the wall which gives a very clean look, but mine were slightly bowed at the bottom and are therefore not completely flush with wall. If I worked at it, I could probably bend them a little to make them flush. This did not affect my rating as I think these are excellent speakers.

> 3 dayI am using these as my FL/FR speakers in a 7.1 system. These speakers are truly amazing! They were easy to install and have amazing sonic depth for the price. The Dual speakers really enable a much richer sound than a single speaker can afford. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayThe speaker looked as if it was heavily used. It had broken tabs and a cracked board, so the speak didn’t work. The kicker was that the speaker grille was painted already. Not some how anyone had even looked at this speaker to verified it worked.

> 3 dayI replaced a set of Polk Audio RTi A9s to regain some space. These sound just as good with a sub. You will need a sub to get the lows youll be looking for to round out the sound and enjoy movies. They sound fine without a sub, but to really get that full bodied sound, I suggest a sub, or pair of 12 subs as I have done. I airbrushed the grills to match the paint on the walls they were installed in. It was the 1st time I have used an airbrush and I must say, they look like they came that way from the factory!

Greater than one weekAwesome sound, easy install. Im not using an amp that even puts these close to max power, but even with the receiver that I do have them attached do they sound fantastic. I paired them with the Polk 8 rears and the A6 front center channel.

> 3 dayI got 11 of these small speakers so that I can finally build my own cinema room. I have a 7.2.4 setup with a CXA-5100 & MXA5000 combi. I built all 13 loudspeakers myself. My two DIY subwoofers are equipped with two Polk db1040. DTS: X and Dolby Atmos just sound like a dream. Mhe middle and highs everything sounds perfect and the four top channel effect sounds incredibly good. I would buy them again.

> 3 dayIve used these for a year and a half and pretty happy with the sound. They sound great paired with an entire set of Polk RT vanishing series and a decent (non Polk) subwoofer (I would not recommend in-walls/in-ceilings for home theatre without a sub). Time to address the elephant in the room though; the magnetic covers. If these speakers are within 3 metres or so of a subwoofer then they will rattle and ruin the movie experience. So either you need to take the covers off and on for each movie (which chips paint off your wall around the corners of the speakers) or just leave them off all the time (which isnt so bad as they look quite manly with the covers off). The build quality feels pretty good though I am constantly worried that the tweeter caps will disintegrate off like my centre speaker (255c-RT did)

> 3 dayAfter a long argument with my wife I finally agreed to get rid of my 20 years old Wharfedale Valdus 400 towers thatre taking too much space. If I didnt compare the sound I would say 265-RT is perfect. Especially given the fact that they are hidden in a wall. But unfortunately when compared to my old towers Polk sounds like Chiwawa against German Shepherd. Again, the sound is crisp and deep enough. Probably very good for the movie theater setup. But now for the first time I will consider having sub-woofer. Farewell my dear Wharfie...

> 3 dayDont want to pay Bose prices but want a speaker set that can handle some wattage? You have your answer in these. Im running a lot of sound through these things and they are definitely handling business.

Greater than one weekThe Polk Audio 265RT 3 way speakers complements my existing speakers well. The speakers are worth the price and the effort to install them into the wall. Sounds great with clear mid-range, treble and the bass complements my sub-woofer,
