I have 5 of these mounted in the wall in my living room as part of my home entertainment system. These things are amazing. For the size, they have really good low tones. I have a subwoofer to kick the bass, but these speakers sound amazing. I used this model for my Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left, Rear Right and Center Channel speaker. I would buy these again in a heart beat. The price for which you can get them on Amazon, sweetens the deal.

These are fantastic. Not even for the money - although that helps - or for in-wall speakers. Theyre just really great. I replaced some nice paradigm bookshelf speakers with these since I have a crawling newborn and consider these an upgrade. I would recommend running a auto-EQ program on your receiver to set the crossovers correctly. Mine is at 80 hz (normal). For installation, if youre comfortable finding the space between studs, cutting drywall along a straight line and fishing wires (sometimes through studs) then its pretty basic stuff. I do consider myself on the handier side and dont mind drilling through wall studs, understanding where electrical wires are already running and using fish tape. If any of that sounds challenging to you, call a pro.

Great sounding speaker! When I painted the grills you can still see the spot where the sticker was. I wish I would have cleared that better before painting. That’s the only thing I have to complain about.

Excellent sound, easy to mount, we are extremely happy. Very well made. We kept the screens off because the drivers look so nice.

These speakers complement my Polk 65RTs which I use as side surround speakers. I am using the 265RTs as rear surround speakers together with Polk speakers for my front highs and Infinity towers for my front. I am also using an Infinity center speaker and a BIC Acoustech PL-200 sub woofer to complete my 9.1 surround system. Collectively they bring out an air of audible clarity not previously experienced with my former rear and side surround speakers. I am using an Onkyo TX-NR3008 AV receiver to drive them all.
