> 24 hourPer the title of my review, it worked amazingly when it was functional. However, despite following the instructions and, as far as I can tell, using it properly, it has stopped working. It will no longer turn on and none of the LEDs are working (even after attempting to follow the steps to toggle on and off the LEDs). Update: Support reached out extremely promptly. I will still leave at 3 stars because I see no reason for the product itself to have low quality control standards.

> 24 hourI live in AZ, so in the summer, it gets really dry. I use this nightly to help with moisture so that my nose doesnt get dried out. Also great for the skin. I dont even hear it, and there is a light that you can also turn off, unless you prefer to use it as a soft nightlight. I use filtered water, and this one does NOT leave a white residue behind like most do.

> 24 hourAs a personal humidifier, this is great. It has no permanent light, but does light up for you when changing modes. Even though it only holds roughly a 12 oz cup of water, its enough for it to run all night, and if you put it bedside, it helps keep you from drying out. Its a good supplement if youre just a bit dry. The included USB cord may be a bit short, but those are easy to swap out. Very neat overall. It comes with 1 spare cotton wick, so Im hoping they last a while and dont get too icky over time.

> 24 hourI love the ease of use of this humidifier! I took it out of the box, put it on my dresser, filled up the tank with a pitcher, plugged it in, and turned it on. Easy peasy. No leakage and it shuts off when its empty. My one and ONLY wish is that the lowest setting didnt put out quite so much mist. With other humidifiers Ive owned, the mist on the lowest setting was barely discernible, which is whats desired sometimes. Ive pushed the button through the levels and, yep, this truly is the lowest. If you want a lot of mist, this is the humidifier for you. UPDATE: The seller sent me a letter telling me that, if I hadnt had a 5-star experience with the product, I should contact him via email and gave his address. I just sent the email and hope to hear a response, but well see. The problem is that the mist that pours out on the lowest setting is so excessive that, though initially going up, rapidly falls back to the floor. I have hardwood floors and I rent and this is just asking for trouble. Even though I have a towel on the floor, I found a puddle of water underneath the towel. Ive missed the return period, unfortunately, so will be selling it and getting one that better suits my needs. Still love the top fill, large tank, and ease of cleaning. Just cant risk the expense of fixing a hardwood floor. EDIT: The seller offers great customer service! After reaching out to them via email, I was able to exchange the unit, despite it being after the refund period. However, the unit they sent didnt work. The mist came out of the air intake vent and none came out of the top; it also leaked. So back to the seller it went. The next one they sent does the same thing as the first: on the first setting, low, a huge plume of mist goes up a couple of feet and then falls to the floor, leaving a puddle of water. If the mist doesnt go up very far, how can it add humidity to the room? Even after running overnight, there was no discernable difference in the humidity level. It says its for large rooms. My room is 10x11, so Id think that the humidity would be almost too much. It is not. I will be writing the seller again to ask for a refund. Hopefully, theyll do it. Such an expensive unit should be perfect, imo.

> 24 hourLoved this thing, but it stopped working after 2 months. I did not use it daily, so the short lifespan is frustrating for something not used that often.

> 24 hourGENIANI is a mini humidifier, it cannot be used with essential oils, it shows a warning on the top of the unit after you unpack it, even though the instructions state where to put oils, this particular model cannot be used with oils. I like how small it is, perfect for anyones bedside. It runs via a USB cord, the instructions mentioned you can use a 5V power adapter that did not come with it. The USB cord is pretty short it is a little less than 3 feet. Connecting this near a bedside would be easy if you have something that takes a USB cable, like a power bank or an alarm clock that has USB slots which ours does. Per the box it is USB powered it needs to be continuously plugged in. The set up is very easy. Hold the base, and turn the top part clockwise to open. If you look at the top part you can see where the long filter is, you turn that counterclockwise to remove it. The filter that is in there, needs to be soaked in water for about 1-2 minutes (first-time use), and then it can be placed back in. It is very easy to put back in. Then fill the clear bottom part with water, do not use hot water. The box states 8.45 fl oz, I would just put 8 oz of water, as there is no real water line. Then you are ready to plug it in and let it do its job. The extra moisture next to the bed will be perfect, as I wake with a very dry throat and sometimes with a headache, so I am hoping this will work out great. It does come with an extra filter, which is nice. My only issue, really, is the filter where do I get replacement filters? What happens when you can no longer find the filters, can we make our own? That is the huge downfall with any humidifiers that use filters. As wonderful as this portable humidifier is, how will it work if I no longer can find filters? I hope to never have to replace it. I checked their website that is shown on the box, and they do not carry this model on the website. However, it comes with a 1 YEAR WARRANTY. Risk-Free Purchase & Hassle-Free Replacement!

> 24 hourIve been using my Geniani humidifier for about a month now. I purchased it because of its reviews and its good price, and I am glad that I did. The product, as it came out of the box, was easy to understand, and it set up in maybe five minutes, and thats including the time it took moving the little table I set it on into the right position in my bedroom. The transformer/power plug slid into the socket quickly, and the humidifier looks sleek and nice as it sits in my master bedroom. I use a product called Force of Nature, a natural form of hypochlorous acid which acts as a sanitizer, and I easily fill the humidifier with a 1 liter pitcher of water with about two tablespoons of the Force of Nature solution suspended in the water. The pitcher makes for an easy, no-touch filling of the water tank. It took me a few nights of pushing the single button to figure out how to set the humidifiers output to my needs (if I can do it, I KNOW you can!), and it took a mishandling on my part to spill water on my pretty wood table to see how the humidifier is constructed. None of that is a worry, however, as theres always an adjustment to any new appliance in the home. The actual humidification of your room is SILENT. Okay, thats a teeny fib, theres a bit of a whispery-hiss as the vapor rises from the humidifier, but I dont even think it would quantify on a decibel meter. The tank lasts me usually two or two and a half nights. I refill it every other night, regardless, using water from the tap and my Force of Nature sanitizer. One of the best takeaways about this product? I have a cat who has FHV, and she gets very dry sinuses in the winter. The other morning, I found her on the ottoman next to the humidifier, lying under the mist from the humidifier, relaxed, enjoying the moisture as it enters her respiratory system. What a joy to see that she has figured out that the humidifiers mist means good things for her! Since cats dont respond well to essential oils--they do not metabolize the oils and they build up, unhealthily, in their systems, I have not used the essential oil trapdoor, so I cannot speak to how EOs work in the Geniani. That this is a US Veteran and Family business is a bonus. Thank you for a good product.

> 24 hourWe own THREE of these for a YEAR now. I don’t bother writing reviews because I’m too busy. But I respect this company and have been through well over a dozen humidifiers as I have lived over 30 years in Minnesota, which gets dry in the winter time. This humidifier has been by my favorite by far! It’s easy to use. Less maintenance to clean; I just soak in distilled white vinegar and it wipes off clean with paper towel/wash cloth and rarely scrubbing with a brush. I like to be able to choose the amount of humidity released. I can have it running all night and day and only need to refill at night again if I want humidity at night and that’s even at one of its highest amounts of release at level 3! I like that it’s super quiet for my kids’ room and mine; I’m an incredibly light sleeper!! I REALLY appreciate the feature to turn off the humidifier light as my kids have a main nightlight or be able to leave it on as their primary night light. I think the price is fair. We don’t wake up with dry and stuffy noses. The more I learn about how humidity helps with reducing the effects of colds and sinuses the more consistent I am to keeping it running all day and night. I’ll be buying one for our two living rooms where the kids play the most during the day. I took one star off because my ONLY annoyance is that the plug-in has a blue light on it (which is nice to know that it’s plugged in and working) but it’s so bright that I need to cover it up or it illuminates too much that is a bothersome to our nightly sleep. So wish that feature could be changed - dimmed. It’s not enough for me to not buy another one because I have definitely recommended it to family and friends!
