My experience with humidifiers are not the greatest. My least favorite thing to do is remembering to turn them off or the constant refilling. But this one comes with a smart setting which allows it to distribute mist when needed. The first two nights, it emptied by the next morning. But on the 3rd day, thinking I needed to refill, found it was still more than 1/2 filled. Once my humidity level was brought back up, it didnt need to turn on as much. Plus, it turns itself off when no more water is present. All in all, very very satisfied. For context, I live in Colorado where the environment is more dry and arid like a desert. Makes a huge difference when sleeping. I wake up comfortably now.

Product stopped working with in 60 days of use. Junk!!

I bought 250 ml version. Cons: The button is too loud! Make it rubber and silent. Second mist mode (intermittent) is not clear what to be used for... Even in 1st mode amount of mist going out is more decorative rather than humidifying. Didnt like the idea with filters... Old usb port. Pros: Pretty quiet when the room is filled with regular day sounds, you almost dont hear it, (during the night sound is more notable). Doesnt spill Looks good. Liked the idea with light. Verdict: Nice toy for your desktop, looks good and makes a nice mood. But not very effective.

I have used it on intelligent mode since getting it about 3-4 days. It definitely humidifies the dry Bay Area California bedroom. Light turns orange when humidity hits below around 45%. It’s been purple most of the time between 50-60% humidity. But it never seems to turn itself off, keeps going and going and it was 70% in the morning when I woke up and the water completely out but it turned itself off properly. The water does not last that long 6-10 hours maybe on intelligent mode. The white air coming out looks like it’s always on high though. I’ve been refilling probably twice a day as I’ve been running it 24 hrs. It’s easy to fill from the top with a Brita water pitcher. It’s super quiet. The light is not distracting at night. I have not tried the essential oils tray yet. I haven’t tried to clean it yet. My old humidifier always had an orange colored mildew buildup inside that I scraped off with an old toothbrush every week. Update after two weeks consistent use. It’s very quiet. It certainly humidifies master bedroom very well. I leave it on intelligent mode all the time. Water must be refilled at least 3x per day in intelligent mode. If I turn it off the humidity drops to about 40 very quickly. Turn on and it’ll increased humidity to 50 within 30m, then to 60% within a couple hours. A couple times though I left on overnight and in the morning it was 70% and still going. I would have thought the intelligent mode turn itself off. 70% seems a bit high. Overall very pleased with the performance as it keeps the air from being too dry. Last update. Very happy with the humidity performance. Works quickly to moisten the dry air. It’s very quiet. I never hear it at all. The light is not too bright like my prior humidifier. So I just leave it on as it’s not a distraction when sleeping. I was covering my old one with a towel to try to dim the light by 80-90%. It’s basically on 24/7. If humidity level hits 70% then I shut it down for a few hours and give it a rest but by evening I usually have to put it back to work. I’ve only cleaned it once after 2wks use and there wasn’t much of anything to clean.

Pretty easy to use over all, but it is difficult to remember the order of button presses for when you want constant mist or intermittent mist. An indicator light, or separate buttons for each action, would be more useful I think. It is unclear if you are cycling through all the commands or going one by one when you press the buttons. But its good for eight straight hours, or more if you do intermittent, which is nice. One thing that may not be obvious is that it needs to be plugged in to work, it is not a standalone or battery powered unit! So its not quite as portable as you would think.

Ive been using my Geniani humidifier for about a month now. I purchased it because of its reviews and its good price, and I am glad that I did. The product, as it came out of the box, was easy to understand, and it set up in maybe five minutes, and thats including the time it took moving the little table I set it on into the right position in my bedroom. The transformer/power plug slid into the socket quickly, and the humidifier looks sleek and nice as it sits in my master bedroom. I use a product called Force of Nature, a natural form of hypochlorous acid which acts as a sanitizer, and I easily fill the humidifier with a 1 liter pitcher of water with about two tablespoons of the Force of Nature solution suspended in the water. The pitcher makes for an easy, no-touch filling of the water tank. It took me a few nights of pushing the single button to figure out how to set the humidifiers output to my needs (if I can do it, I KNOW you can!), and it took a mishandling on my part to spill water on my pretty wood table to see how the humidifier is constructed. None of that is a worry, however, as theres always an adjustment to any new appliance in the home. The actual humidification of your room is SILENT. Okay, thats a teeny fib, theres a bit of a whispery-hiss as the vapor rises from the humidifier, but I dont even think it would quantify on a decibel meter. The tank lasts me usually two or two and a half nights. I refill it every other night, regardless, using water from the tap and my Force of Nature sanitizer. One of the best takeaways about this product? I have a cat who has FHV, and she gets very dry sinuses in the winter. The other morning, I found her on the ottoman next to the humidifier, lying under the mist from the humidifier, relaxed, enjoying the moisture as it enters her respiratory system. What a joy to see that she has figured out that the humidifiers mist means good things for her! Since cats dont respond well to essential oils--they do not metabolize the oils and they build up, unhealthily, in their systems, I have not used the essential oil trapdoor, so I cannot speak to how EOs work in the Geniani. That this is a US Veteran and Family business is a bonus. Thank you for a good product.

After having tried numerous humidifiers that are very hard to clean, this brand has been the easiest one to clean. Their updated model now (March 2023) is even easier to clean than before. Very easy to disassemble and clean all the parts. Small butter knife can help with disassembly and takes less than a minute.

I am so glad that I found this company on Amazon. As I was looking for the kind my mom told me about I could not find that kind, so when I saw this GENIANI Black model I was like that looks cool. Got the 1st one home and installed easy as ABC123, poof it was up and running. My first night cleared up my SINUSES from DRY NASTY to I could BREATHE and slept all thru the NIGHT. Been sleeping without having to wake up to stuff in my nose. I thought you only run these type of machines in the winter but I was wrong. I have a large UNIT that holds 10 gallon or more of water with 2 large jugs and its not convenient but it worked, but I like this smaller one next to my BED because the other large unit was in the living room. So when I told my dad on day 3 that I can breathe he asked me to order him one. So we did we got it fast also and he is now sleeping thru the night as well. I cannot thank the owner of this company enough. I even got a personal letter in the mail. I plan on buying these for each room as needed. You get to TOP FILL these which is so nice. I just keep a Gallon of Extra water behind the night stands just in case you need extra water. Mine will hold 1 GALLON. IT says fill 3/4 up if you are going to sleep so you dont have to get up and fill it. I am running my new ones all day all night. It has AUTO SHUT OFF when the water runs out and it also has a sensor. I like keeping a little UNIT I found on amazon that tells me the Digits of the AIR QUALITY and HUMIDITY. These machines are so quiet and the LED night light does not bother my father. Usually he cannot stand LIGHTS in his bedroom. But he has this one point towards his face. ITs so nice to finally buy a PRODUCT that JUST WORKS and its PLUG & PLAY simple. I love these and will tell everyone I know that this is a well made product it does what it says. I cannot say enough about this product.

I ordered this for my office and it does work, however I thought it would be larger.

Life changing seemed overwhelming of a title to my review, so we’ll go with sleep improving! I have been constantly getting up in the middle of the night to hack out from the back of my throat or blowing my nose all the nasty. I’m not sick, no flu, no sore throat, I don’t have severe allergies, it didn’t make any sense why I always had nasty mucous build up, especially when I am laying on my back sleeping. Did some googling and found out too dry of air can cause your body to over compensate, developing mucous, but so much so that it can feel like you have a glump of it blocking your airway so badly, you can’t properly breathe. I was losing so much sleep for the past few months. I tried neti pots but that was temporary relief before ultimately back at the sink. Humidifiers apparently did the trick, took a stab at this one. No regrets!! Super thankful. Since day one of using this, I have not gotten up outta bed unless I was thirsty and needed to empty my bladder! Some things to note; -Shipping was fast as prime could be, but it wasn’t the product inside an Amazon box, just the product box itself, I don’t get these very often. I don’t think anyone would try and steal off my porch anyway seeing a humidifier, lol -The light is a bit bright, you can shut off the inside light where the tank is, but the button led is still always on if the humidifier is on. Not too much of a bother, I’ve grown accustomed to wearing a sleep eye patch. -Filled this up to max line, full blast, and I still have plenty leftover after 12 hrs of use. -I am a hot sleeper and was afraid this humidifier would make it ‘humid’, meaning hot. But it’s super refreshing getting a nice mist on my skin. I might have to buy more just to place throughout my apartment! (But I only have the issue when I’m sleeping) Thanks for making an awesome product!
