> 3 dayPressing seams was easier using the wool mat. Seams came out crisp and well defined.

> 3 dayProduct does exactly what it was advertised to do. I have used it for two quilt projects so far and am more than pleased with this mat. The quality is as expected and the service was excellent. Thank you. NOTE I did purchase a similar mat from somewhere else and was not happy with it. Besides coming a month late the mat smelled terrible when the hot iron was used and the smell transferred to the material. Glad I tried a different supplier.

> 3 daythis mat has a double purpose. I use it under my sewing machine and I use it for a small ironing board. Its not as stiff as I thought it would be so makes it a bit difficult to travel with. works well as a noise reducer when sewing, works well for ironing wee bits (as expected). Over all I am pleased.

> 3 dayI had bought one of the ironing mats that attaches to the dryer top with magnets, and it was a disappointment. The wrinkles never came out of it, and it was too thin. The wool mat is wonderful. I ordered a size to fit on my sewing machine cabinet right by my machine, and it is perfect for ironing seams when sewing. The wool ironing mat arrived well-packed, and it has been a great addition to my sewing accessories.

> 3 dayIt turns out I dont hate ironing; I just hate my ironing board. Until a month ago, Id never heard of a wool pressing mat, but if I had, I would have considered it an absolutely necessary sewing tool. It sits at the end of my cutting table, with a low profile, and when I need to iron I simply walk to the end of the table and press my fabric. I bought the larger one because I wanted to be able to press dress pieces, and Im glad I did. I havent had any issues with sticking (I saw one review mention that and it made me nervous, but I dont even feel a hint of that), and while there is a slight smell when used for a long period, its barely noticeable and not at all unpleasant. That being said, this thing could smell like a barn and Id still prefer it to my clanky, horrible, giant ironing board. I do wish it had some kind of grippers on the bottom because it does slide around my slick wood table a bit, but its not a big deal and this way its usable on both sides and theres nothing to melt. Other than that, the only thing I wish is that Id known about this years ago.

Greater than one weekI have a mall table to press my quilt blocks on and this mat just fits perfectly. It doesnt slide around and I get a good crisp press. I use steam and I have noticed a wool smell from the heat but it isnt very strong as some have said and it isnt offensive. I would highly recommend these mats even tho they are a little pricey. Worth the money. Ive tried to use a couple of different pressing mats and prefer this one.

> 3 dayI agonized over which brand to buy, this is a littler more than some others, have to say glad I made this choice well worth the money, and no smell.

> 3 dayIm using the mat on a small printer table next to my sewing machine. It fits perfectly. I dont have to worry about harming the top of the printer table because the pad is very thick. Normally I would have my large ironing board set up and in everyones way when Im piecing. Not anymore. I use a small, not extremely hot iron and the mat seems to reflect back the heat. Im very satisfied with the results. The mat is odor free; delivery was very prompt. It came in a hard box so there was no chance of the delivery person folding/rolling the mat.

> 3 dayAlright, it does just lay there. But, it does retain heat and reflect it back to the fabric. Fabric does not move while ironing, which means there is much less / or no surprise stretching. This product is really built and wont stretch, tear, pill or do any other thing to ruin its manufacture. You can even stick spare pins into it. Combine it with a clapper and youll have the flattest seam ever!
