Went in easily, came with perfect tools, works perfectly. Ive done this several times before, on both iPads and smart phones. This was a particularly easy one to install and came with plenty of good tools.

unresponsive screen and the home power button does not sleep/wake the screen once the digitizer is resting on the metal frame. see the copper strip to the left of the home, that needs electrical tape for the digitizer to work properly. how am i suppose to know that? will purchase from about her brand that has this piece covered

Worked like a charm and the iPad looks like new again.

It works for my iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display and it fits well. The glass is easy to break though and the home button feels a bit different from the original Apple product. I broke mine around the home button when I tried to firm up the screen the first time. But the Customer Service from iParts Outlet is very good and it sent me a replacement part which I successfully installed. The instructions are not very intuitive but you could get help from watching videos at Youtube. For the price, the product quality is reasonable.

I purchased this kit for my husband, who has yet to use it. But he confirmed that its exactly what he needs to replace the shattered screen on his iPad mini.

definitely need some other kind of adhesive. I was able to put it in its case to hold the grip until I get something to help to screen stick

There are no instructions with how to replace the screen! Im trying to find you-tube videos, but it would be nice if this product came with instructions.
