This product was crap...not only did I have the same problem with the protective film on the inside of the digitizer basically bonding to the screen and unable to wipe it off, the digitizer also stopped working after one day of use. Everything seemed fine day one. After charging the iPad overnight and trying to use it the next morning, nothing was working. I could not open up any apps or even power off the iPad by using th slider. I would not recommend this product.

It installed easy the peel for the glue on the screen was hard to get but the home button feels weird and clicks weird too I don’t like it but other than that good product

I repair a fair amount of iPad screens and this one cracked when pressed it into place, also glue is not so great you need to use something better. seemed fine on arrival but cracked right away had to order another the second time an apple made one, that worked fine.

Would not recommend bought new came broken due to bad packaging will not buy again

It works for my iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display and it fits well. The glass is easy to break though and the home button feels a bit different from the original Apple product. I broke mine around the home button when I tried to firm up the screen the first time. But the Customer Service from iParts Outlet is very good and it sent me a replacement part which I successfully installed. The instructions are not very intuitive but you could get help from watching videos at Youtube. For the price, the product quality is reasonable.

It was everything I hoped for! It was my first time repairing a screen and it was a little tedious but very simple putting on the replacement. Came out great. ;) shouldve came with instructions but hey thats what YouTube is there for!

The digitizer on the screen freaks out and clicks open apps randomly. Poor product. Do not buy.

Screen was very easy to install. Works perfectly. Only took about 20-30 min to install.
