Many Zinc products on the market, bothered my stomach. The Pure Encapsulations product was easy to swallow, and did not affect my stomach in a negative way! Excellent product! Highly recommended!

Ive tried alot of different varieties of zinc supplements and this brand truly nails it. (literally) My nails are firmer, my acne is reduced, I have caught a cold in over two years and Im a chronically sick individual. Its been amazing.

Pretty expensive. Im sure these less expensive brands out there, but its not worth the fight id have to go through with the old battle axe. But inhonestly dont see what sets this brand apart from the others.

Purchased a similar brand of this product and not half as effective same with their magnesium.

Read my other reviews on Pure supplements. The lab is legit snd is manufactured in a clean sterile place. My doctor noticed a change in my test results finally andI feel focused and positive. My headaches and soreness are almost eliminated. A wonder that this is not advertised as much as it should. Should be on the news.

I’ve been taking 25mg of zinc gluconate for the past year or so with no side effects. But after reading that zinc picolinate is absorbed better by the body, I thought I’d try it in this 30mg form. I took one capsule with a meal, as suggested, but approximately 4-6 hours later I started to feel a “numb/inflamed irritation” in my throat and ears, which I associate with an oncoming cold. An hour or so after this, I began to feel a “straining” pain in my shoulders and upper arms. Needless to say, this was quite unpleasant. I decided not to take the zinc for a week to check if the irritation and pain were related to the supplement. The next day the symptoms were gone, so I was not in fact coming down with a cold. A week later, I took another capsule, again with a meal, and went about my business. As you can probably guess, since I’m writing this review, 4-6 hours later the irritation and pain returned. The unpleasantness lasted for hours until I went to bed. I did a little research (reading all critical reviews here, and googling) looking for others who may have experienced similar side effects, but I did not find anything helpful. Did I get a bad batch? Am I allergic to picolinate in particular, or something else in the capsule? But Pure Encapsulations make it clear on the bottle that the capsules are “Gluten-free, Non-GMO & Hypoallergenic,” so who knows. For now I’m going back to zinc gluconate; perhaps in future I will again try zinc picolinate, but in a smaller dose.

My Doctor recommended this brand for the multi vitamin ONE. Ive since bought other vitamins from this company. My husband is on zinc ordered from his Doctor. I want to have it on hand for when I just feel out of sorts or when I feel a cold coming on. It really helps!

Trust quality

I gave these a try knowing that other reviews said that doctors like the brand as well. These pills do not give me nausea. They also have controlled my acne. I have been taking these with vitamin A 5000iu to help. Zinc is amazing. Update! 10/8/2020 My hormonal acne is cured!
