This thing taught my boy to ride in less than a week. He wouldnt get on his regular bike after the training wheel broke off. I took off the remaining wheel and broken stub from his bike and it sat there collecting dust. I didnt even buy this for him (5 years old) but I bought it for my younger boy (3 years old) but the 5 year old jump on this and began balancing right away. After a few times out with this balance bike, I encouraged him to try his pedal bike but just put his feet on the floor just like the balance bike. He just pedalled away first try. If nothing else, this balance bike encourages confidence! Now my younger boy is learning on it. This one with the rubber tires is much better than the plastic tire version because my boys like to hit turns on this thing and the rubber grips nicely. My buddy has the plastic tire version and his slips out on tight turns. Very recommended. Frank

This balance bike is perfect for my three and a half year old little boy. My husband put it together very easily in just a few minutes. It seems to be good quality. I love the classic look and the sweet bell.

There was no wrench included to put handle bars on - had to wait to complete assembly - had an anxious child waiting to ride!!

The ad states the bike has rubber air filled tires. I was sent a bike with foam tires. From reading other reviews this seems to be a common problem. Had option to return the wrong one and get the rubber tire bike, but should have been done correctly the first time.

Arrived dirty. The bell also had to be fixed.

Bike goes together easy enough. My only gripe is (maybe there is some trick I dont know) I can not get the clamp for the handle bars tight enough to where they wont spin and be parallel with the front tire. It takes a bit for force to do it so it still works but if the kid falls some times the landing gets the bars the wrong way. This also makes it so the plastic cover pops off and exposes the braket which is unsafe until I snap it back on.

Excellent balance bike to grow with. Love that they are real tires and not some hard plastic material. Adjustable seat height is perfect and my son loves the bell. I also liek that there is a place for him to put his feet when he glides.

My son loves this bike! Especially the bell, which was an added bonus (for him, not me). Only complaint and reason for the 4 stars is the pole where the seat is sticks out the bottom and when your kid is still trying to learn to balance it, it falls and that pole digs into his leg. Its not a huge deal, and as he grows and the seat goes up, it wont be a big deal, but its already hurt him twice!
