> 3 dayI bought this for my youngest and she loves it.. she rides it around the house. The bell is a fun addition to the bike and fun for her to ring. My oldest also likes to get on it when it is not being used.... would recommend for a family and great for inside and outside use

Greater than one weekEasy to change the height on the bars on the seat. It was hard to get off the part needed to pump up the tires.

Greater than one weekMy son absolutely loves this. He is only 2, but he is a very tall 2. We got it for his bday and he cruises around on it all day. Super nice bike. I recommend it to others all the time.

> 3 dayI didnt take the time to read any reviews (last minute Xmas gift) so I did not realize there is no footrest on this bike. Other balance bikes allow the kid to scoot up to speed and then rest their feet on something while cruising. This one requires the kid to execute an isometric hold to keep their feet from dragging on the ground. Good for building up their quads, but not ergonomically comfortable. For the parents, I would say the instructions are exceedingly simple but the unit I got was nearly impossible to assemble without some adjustment with a wrench. The hole that the handlebars go into on the frame was way too small and I had to pry it open manually to make the pieces fit. Not cool at all.

> 3 dayPurchased this balance bike because he was getting too big for his 1st one. Super easy to put together, appears to be holding up very well. He can pick it up and move it however he wishes. His big boy bike he still asks to be turned around but not this one. Great purchase for sure!

Happy Customer
> 3 dayExcellent product. Researched various air tire balance bikes (air tires are a must get in my opinion), many costing over a hundred dollars more. The Radio Flyer compared favorably to the high cost options in terms of weight, correct posture design and materials. Received the balance bike in excellent condition and am happier every day my 2-1/2 yr. old rides it. My son is starting out at the lowest settings for the seat and handlebars and has plenty of room to grow. The bell is an added bonus and it is really loud (for better or worse).

> 3 dayWe purchased this for my daughter and so far, she loves it, especially the little bell on the handle bars. Assembly was extremely simple, it took me all of about 15 minutes from taking it out of the box to having it assembled - all you need is an adjustable wrench. You can easily adjust tree seat up or down with a metal lever, and you can adjust the handlebars up or down with the adjustable wrench. This is a quality bike for a great price.

> 3 dayOh my gosh! This was possibly the best purchase I have made for my son!! I purchased it May 4, 2016 when my son was just over 2 years old. He was able to pick it up extremly fast and it was awesome to be able to go on walks while he rode this bike. I would see so many parents and kids struggling at the park to try and ride a bike with training wheels, while my son was riding circles around the park. It helped tremendously with his balance, and last month he got his first peddle bike which I took the training wheels off of and he picked that up in a day! Everyone is amazed at how a 3 year old can ride with no training wheels and I recommend this balance bike to everyone bc it was so helpful for my kiddo to understand how to balance vs relying on training wheels. Such a great purchase, a must have for all 2-3 year olds wanting to ride a bike! If you do not want to constantly have to turn a bike, or move the peddles, or stop to help the little one, this is the go to bike for beginners! they pick it up quickly and will soon be able to ride beside you as you jog or walk! At first a lot of people were skeptical of this bike, why does he have a bike with no peddles? then they would see him take off on it and they were shocked at how well he did on it, and now they know exactly why I got it, the balance he learned on this bike made the transition to a regular bike with no training wheels so easy!

> 3 dayI researched and found a bunch of helpful comparisons of balance bikes online. This one had a few strikes against it, but in my opinion its the best! Why the heck (unless you are a professional cyclist) would you spend over $100 on a balance bike?! This one is great. Does what it needs to do. Has a bell. Seems to be really good quality. My 3 year old is a bit of scaredy cat, so she still needs help. Watching videos of other kids riding them and having her older cousins use it and have fun helped : ) PS there is a YouTube video done by a professional cyclist that has great advice on how to teach your kid how to ride a balance bike! I of course, hoped she would jump right on and start zipping around, but I knew she would need some help so we watched that first : )

Greater than one weekI get that this isnt a $90 Strider. But having put one of those together recently, versus what I dealt with putting this one together... well Radio Flyer could have made theirs a little better without a ton of extra effort or cost. Ultimately, as a balance bike its going to work very well. So its probably closer to a 4 on value and a 2-3 on assembly. As for why I dinged it, well the alignment of handlebars and wheel while tightening it is cumbersome at best, ridiculous at worst. Strider has this right, you slip the steerer tube from the fork and the shaft from the handlbars together and put a pin through them. That way it will always be 100% straight. Then when you tighten it down you can simply worry about only fastening the parts together. This bike needs 4 hands to be done right and a ratchet set on top of that. You have to hold the fork and handlebars tightly together while turning two bolts and not allowing the handlebars and fork to separate and become loose in the headtube, or have them twist and become misaligned. Not a great design there guys. Once I got it in place it was fine and the bike is very good for what it was meant for. I just wish some extra effort was put in place for alignment and adjustment. Really unnecessarily complex for the ONLY thing that has to be done to put the bike together.
