> 3 dayGreat quality; great looking bike. My four-year-old son is crazy about it and is already balancing for 10 feet at a time. I find that many people I talk to dont know what a balance bike is. In case you dont know, a balance bike is a regular bicycle without pedals. Children who cant write a bike teach themselves to balance in no time and once they are big enough, they can ride a pedal bike within a day. I used this method for my daughter by taking the petals off of her first bike after being in training wheels for over a year with no results. After about a week learning to balance, I taught her to ride a bike within an hour. I highly recommend this radio Flyer Flyer bike. Its a lot cheaper than the competition and I cant see any loss of quality. Heres a picture of my son before I told him to put on his helmet.

> 3 dayThese balance bikes (Striders) are the BEST way bypass training wheels and help even your 2 y/o learn how to actually balance and ride a bike. The natural process of them using their feet and balancing themselves helps them learn to ride on their own. Got this for 2 y/o grandson and within a week he could already push and balance and glide (a little bit) without feet touching. Wont be long before we get him a pedal bike and skip training wheels altogether. AND he LOVES the little bell.

09-06-2025The bike itself was great. The quality feels good. Came on time. The box was a little beat up and looks like someone tried assembling it before.

> 3 dayMy son loves this bike! Especially the bell, which was an added bonus (for him, not me). Only complaint and reason for the 4 stars is the pole where the seat is sticks out the bottom and when your kid is still trying to learn to balance it, it falls and that pole digs into his leg. Its not a huge deal, and as he grows and the seat goes up, it wont be a big deal, but its already hurt him twice!

> 3 dayAfter trying out a larger pedal bike with trainers for our 3 year old we decided to get this little balance bike. It was a great idea. Our son was frustrated with the bigger bike, couldn’t manage it because it was to heavy, and we would end up pushing him...a lot. With the balance bike, he is pushing along and enjoying the ride a lot more. Not to mention he has already started gliding on it. But he still loves it! He’s a tall 3, but the fit is perfect. Definitely recommend as a first bike.

> 3 dayBike goes together easy enough. My only gripe is (maybe there is some trick I dont know) I can not get the clamp for the handle bars tight enough to where they wont spin and be parallel with the front tire. It takes a bit for force to do it so it still works but if the kid falls some times the landing gets the bars the wrong way. This also makes it so the plastic cover pops off and exposes the braket which is unsafe until I snap it back on.

> 3 dayI wanted(still want to) love this bike so much but the handle bars do not lock in place. Even with just trying to store the bike I come back and the handle bars are not in place. My 2½ year old is just getting used to a bike and we havent done a lot on it but thats also because I am a little nervous of the tire and the handle bars deciding to go different ways. I tightened them until I couldnt anymore but it still doesnt stay in place and if he puts to much weight on the handle bars it pushes them down.

> 3 dayMy 3 year old son loves his new balance bike and the bell! However, I do wish it had a place to rest his feet and I could raise the handlebars.
