Raswik 4” Privacy Hook and Eye Latch Easy Lock for Barn Door, Black

Second purchase of this hook. First one we installed on a house we sold so we knew we liked quality and appearance. Needed one on newly purchased house to upgrade existing deck gate latch that was not working well. Love the way it easily latches and very easy installation.

Used it on a barn door styled bathroom door over a year ago. Works well, seems sturdy and does what its supposed to do, keep the door closed when occupied. Id buy it again.

I was incredibly excited about the quality of this latch. I was looking for a simple latch to hold a light door closed in my house. What I got, was a very well made, strong, and beautiful latch. It is built 100 times stronger than your average latch. It has a nice flat black paint job, that actually stays on the latch and not rub off. It is overkill for my purpose, but I would not change my order at all. This will be the latch that I buy in the future. The only thing that I did differently from the installation instructions, was to use much stronger screws. The included screws are the weakest part. I figured that if anyone were to get through my door, it would be from the screws pulling out or breaking. It would not damage the latch itself. I highly recommend this latch. It can latch a door in your house, or a huge thick comercial door. It’s a great product for a great price.

This works great! Now my children won’t be afraid because Daddy can now lock the monsters away.

Very sturdy and appears well made. Only just installed today, but love the bulkier side of it. Our use was to secure a 6ft wooden fence.
