Raswik 4” Privacy Hook and Eye Latch Easy Lock for Barn Door, Black

i was so lucky to stumble across this product, I recently installed 3 white barn doors in my house and needed a locking mechanism. the local hardwood stores has some flimsy latch locks. I bought these locks becuase they looked bigger and sturdier. I was very happy when i got them they were not only bigger and beautiful they are very sturdy. This is a very elegant and classy latch lock.

This lock is very heavy, not super cheap like most you’d find. I was actually super impressed with the quality when I opened the package. Super easy to install. We purchased it for our pocket door to our mudroom where we keep the dogs water dish and food bowl, to keep our toddlers out of it - which if you have kids, you understand. Very happy I purchased this!

It’s a simple lock, extremely study, and efficient. The screws are long enough that they won’t easily rip out, the metal is very strong, heavy duty especially for a hook lock, also the hook stays in place when locked (my old lock would pop out if u jarred the door a few times). Much better than I expected, especially for the price.

I rent and needed something quick and easy to install to keep my backyard gate closed. I attached it to my gate with zip ties. It came with screws too if you needed to attach it to wood or something. It was exactly what I needed and Definitely good for the price!

Used it on a barn door styled bathroom door over a year ago. Works well, seems sturdy and does what its supposed to do, keep the door closed when occupied. Id buy it again.
