Raswik 4” Privacy Hook and Eye Latch Easy Lock for Barn Door, Black

I put these on the sliding barn doors of two renovated bathrooms. They look great and work well and were very economical.

This came in clutch for a closet in my toddler’s room that doesn’t shut or lock so we got this and it works perfectly!!!

The privacy hook was easy to install, solidly constructed, with a clean look. I it looks like its built to last, and finished well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on Durability instead of 5 is that I had to use my own screw anchors. The catch mounts solidly directly into the barn door with the supplied screws. However, the hook portion has the same screws as the catch portion but came without anchors. In our case it was mounted in drywall, and installing with only the provided hardware would have resulted in the hook portion pulling loose from the wall over time. I highly recommend using two screw anchors - the result is a solid-latching privacy hook.

I used this for my work shop door to latch open. We have had some strong winds and it’s help up nicely. The coating and materials seem to be quality.

I ordered this piece to put on my shoe cabinet. After I put my cabinet together it wasn’t closing correctly. This was super easy to install, it’s heavy and great quality. I placed it on the cabinet to close it when not in use and it looks wonderful as well. Thank you.

Pleasantly surprised at how thick the metal was. Nice and sturdy to hold the barn doors to my laundry door closed, so kids and pets cannot get in. You will need a drill and bits to make holes to get the screws in, but other than that it was very easy to install. I would definitely recommend this product.
