> 3 dayThe functionality is there and works great, fits in the hand well, however the rubber mat under the thumb came loose, and I had to superglue it down in order to correct the issue so that it does not come loose anymore, and cause issues when trying to hit the DPI clutch.

> 3 dayIve been using this mouse to replace my Naga Trinity. First, let me start by saying that this mouse is very comfortable. The thumb rest feels comfortable, yet grabs a grip when you need it to. It also feels very responsive, especially when Im playing Rainbow Six Siege. My only confusion is Ive had this mouse for less then a few months, and that rubber where my thumb rests is already beginning to come off the plastic frame. Not a huge deal, some gorilla glue will take care of that just fine, but a little concerning that its already beginning to peel just after a few months of use. I expect a little better durability from a $70 gaming mouse, Razer.

> 3 dayI upgraded to this after using a Razer Ouroboros for 3 years. The Ouroboros started falling apart since it had so many pieces, and thanks to me schlepping it between work and home. Within seconds, I was immediately comfy with this mouse. Couple things: The scroll wheel can either be SMOOTH, SMOOTH WITH LITTLE CLICKIES AS YOU SCROLL, or FULL ON RESISTANT CLICKIES. Its awesome. The light colors cycle, even without software installed. Neat. The DPI clutch worked great right out of the box. This is a great mouse that Id recommend to anyone.

Greater than one weekI wish it was a little wider, with my last two fingers hanging off my hand will start cramping after too long, but I realize most gaming mice are like this. The reason for 4 star is cause the grip under the thumb keeps popping up, as it it wasn’t taped down as good. This has happened since day one, gets annoying in the middle of a game when it pops ups

Greater than one weekBought a Razer Basilisk to replace a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer that finally gave up the ghost after more than a decade of faithful service. RIP little buddy. Id return the Razer in a second if my girlfriend hadnt thrown out the box it came in. Its not so much the mouse that sucks, its the software you have to use to get all the advertised features: * In order to customize the mouse DPI, LED colors, button assignments, etc. you must download Razer Synapse (v3.0, mind you). * Synapse requires you to create an online account in order to use it. It also requires that you keep it running in the background at all times. If you ever close it, the mouse reverts back to its default settings. * The license agreement for the Synapse software says Razer and anyone else they choose may take any data they want from your computer without limitation. The license agreement also says Razer has no obligation to provide any updates or even to keep running the Synapse servers to allow you to keep using all the features of the mouse you paid for. If they ever discontinue their service or go out of business, tough. * The default settings cause the mouse to cycle through LED colors (annoying) but worse, it seems to prevent my computer from going to sleep. Even if I manually put it to sleep, the mouse will wake the computer back up, presumably so it can change the LED color some more. Dont leave this mouse connected to a laptop unless its plugged in to an AC adapter, or youll have a dead battery. In summation, Im not about to use a mouse that spies on me. You shouldnt either. It does make a pretty good cat toy, but I bet you can get a *really* good cat toy for $70.

Greater than one weekEvery morning I wake up to soft sounds from my computer fans just to see how shes working. This guy is super quiet for a mouse and can keep up with my gaming easily. He sits right next to my computer as advertised. Sometimes the mouse misbehaves because it was bought used; I assumed this as I payed much less. When this happens I get a little upset and throw the mouse. My mom later comes in and complains about the fit I had just released. I assure you and her that there hasnt been any issues with the mouse after throwing it against the wall a few times. The mouse now keeps its position right next to my computer. Since the throwing, It hasnt even made a peep. It was fun while it lasted though right? Once it starts to smell, you should throw it out. Mice carry disease. Overall good mouse.

20-04-2025I previously owned a Razer Imperator, and hoped that the Basilisk would be a fitting replacement for it. Its not. For one thing, its small. I dont have big hands, but theres no good place to put my ring finger. Theres no natural placement for my hand. The buttons are weirdly angled and sized in a way that makes things awkward. The DPI clutch is a cool idea, but its placed way too far forwards to be useful for me. The scroll wheel feels very high, making getting to it uncomfortable. The RGB idea is cool, but only active when the software is running and youre logged in. This means even when your screensaver is on it defaults back to cycling through colors. Why is your choice not saved on the mouse? I know it has on-board profiles. The sensitivity settings are very customizable, and I thought the Synapse software was fine, better than I was expecting based on the comments. I would just like it more if the mouse was more comfortable. Also, it took Amazon *4 tries* to send the right mouse to me. Thats more on Amazon than Razer though...

Greater than one weekAfter a month I was getting an Intermittent Mouse click. (At first I though Going through Amazon for a return, but then its not their fault) So RAZER Support. RMA process is a NIGHTMARE! I submitted an RMA, They replied with about 20 things to do and I did them. Then waited and and waited. Daily I wrote back. After 2 weeks I got a Please Submit Logs files. So I submitted them. Waited. Asked daily 7 Weeks later I got a Letter, Saying MY NEW Support Ticket is now a new Number. Waited waited. Asked and Asked on Status (Daily) Weeks after that I got a reply what my RMA was Submitted and I will receive a Label to return it. A week after that I got a RMA Label Shipped it I think 2 weeks ago, Last week they said they have assigned a new one to be shipped out. But I have yet to receive a Notice. Meanwhile of course I BOUGHT NEW MOUSE Who can go without a mouse for 4 months or more? (Its been so long I cant remember how long) I honestly would have been better doing a return to AMAZON. Dear RAZER, Love your Products but who ever is in charge of RMAs and Support FIRE THEM! ASAP! Update 9/22/2020: finally received the Replacement Mouse - 5 MONTHS LATER. Needless to say I bought another Mouse. I wish it would have failed within the Return date from Amazon. If you do buy this, pray it fails quickly.. (If it fails again, its trash time, and Logitech gets my business forever.)

> 3 dayI have had the Razer Deathadder Elite mouse for just a few months now and I have begun to get what I am now finding out is common squeaking noise when you scroll down on the page with the page scroll wheel. After looking it up and seeing other videos with the exact same issue I am unable to find a solution to fix it. Besides that the mouse functions as expected for now but if there is such a common issue after such a short usage time I can only imagine other issues in the future. For a premium priced product I would expect much higher quality. Sadly this will be the last Razer product I buy for quite a while I expect. The expected quality of products I have seen from Razer recently I have purchases (keyboards, mouses, gaming keypads eg: Orbweaver Chroma) etc. Have all dropped way down. Time to find a different brand overall sadly.

> 3 dayIts a very nice mouse, as one would expect from the price tag. However in my experience it will not last a long time. After a few months of use, the left click became unreliable, particularly when trying to drag something (the mouse unclicks and reclicks while the button is continuously held down). Razer earned a star back for fantastic customer service, paying for shipping both ways and supplying me with a new mouse. Unfortunately, once again after a few months of use Im having the same problem, which renders the mouse useless. Also, the mouse software is absolute garbage spyware which I refuse to install. You can still use the mouse without it, but a lot of the fancy features are lost. Most obnoxiously, it is impossible to turn off the LEDs on the mouse without the spyware installed.
