> 3 dayI have a Razer mouse on my 9 year old ASUS ROG computer it still works fine and I liked it a lot. So naturally I looked to Razer for my recently purchased ASUS Hero ROG (its about time I know!). Fortunately I decided the less expensive Razer was all I needed for flight simulation because otherwise I would have wasted even more money on a more expensive gaming Razer mouse. The Razer synapse software loaded on a computer to control the features of the mouse is bloated as I recall about 385 megabytes - and with it you can do absolutely nothing outside of what a plain vanilla mouse does unless you open a Razer account. In fact you need to open the account to get the software. The privacy statement that you need to agree to in order to keep the account open (which is necessary to use the full functionality of the mouse) is scary as hell. You WILL BE TRACKED and Razer as well as any other party that they like is now also in your face. Also remember tracking of any sort takes away previous gaming bandwidth. I would like to have thrown the mouse away after I uninstalled the software. But guess what there is no uninstall feature for the Razer software either in its bloated folder or as an uninstallable app on my new Windows 10 computer! What to do? Well I recommend you assign a restore point before plugging this mouse into your computer or better yet dont buy a Razer product at all.

> 3 dayAfter a month I was getting an Intermittent Mouse click. (At first I though Going through Amazon for a return, but then its not their fault) So RAZER Support. RMA process is a NIGHTMARE! I submitted an RMA, They replied with about 20 things to do and I did them. Then waited and and waited. Daily I wrote back. After 2 weeks I got a Please Submit Logs files. So I submitted them. Waited. Asked daily 7 Weeks later I got a Letter, Saying MY NEW Support Ticket is now a new Number. Waited waited. Asked and Asked on Status (Daily) Weeks after that I got a reply what my RMA was Submitted and I will receive a Label to return it. A week after that I got a RMA Label Shipped it I think 2 weeks ago, Last week they said they have assigned a new one to be shipped out. But I have yet to receive a Notice. Meanwhile of course I BOUGHT NEW MOUSE Who can go without a mouse for 4 months or more? (Its been so long I cant remember how long) I honestly would have been better doing a return to AMAZON. Dear RAZER, Love your Products but who ever is in charge of RMAs and Support FIRE THEM! ASAP! Update 9/22/2020: finally received the Replacement Mouse - 5 MONTHS LATER. Needless to say I bought another Mouse. I wish it would have failed within the Return date from Amazon. If you do buy this, pray it fails quickly.. (If it fails again, its trash time, and Logitech gets my business forever.)

> 3 dayFor those with larger than average hands, these are very ergonomic and easy to use. Being able to adjust DPI on the fly makes gaming easier. I also like how tactile the clicks are and how comfortable it is to reach each button on the mouse with with ease. For high sense players, like myself, 16,000 dpi is way more than what the average player would need. The mouse is very responsive, and I like how the sniper button can be modified with a smaller button or removed completely. I use the smaller sniper button due to my thumb length and I can easily press it without awkwardly manipulating my thumb. For those looking for a good mouse for FPS games, this works well in APEX and Modern Warfare. My only complaint is that there is no onboad memory.

> 3 dayI am a right handed person that started to have problems with my right hand. I have switched to using a left-hand mouse and my pain had decreased. I have tried a few other left-handed mouses for Mac computers and was not happy with them. This one I plugged in and it was working. I downloaded Razer Synapse and I am able to make changes with the different buttons to suit me. I am very happy with my mouse.

> 3 dayI just returned a Razor Deathadder because it had a hardware problem with its wires, causing the mouse to repeatedly disconnect. After hours of troubleshooting, I discovered this was a common problem with Deathadder mice and promptly returned it. Foolishly, I purchased another Razor product to replace it, the Basilisk. Everything about the mouse seemed fine. Its smaller, lighter, and less comfortable than the Deathadder (An admittedly EXTREMELY comfortable mouse) but I played exactly two rounds of Rainbow Six Siege and it seemed to perform really well. I returned about three hours later to find that the rubber grip on the side had already partially come off. I had not vigorously handled the mouse, but for something that cost this much to ALREADY be falling apart? All Ive learned through two awful weeks of sifting through their products is that Razor is hilariously incompetent about their hardware. If it werent for the fancy RGB and sleek aesthetic, itd be a wonder if they were successful at all.

> 3 dayI love the razer mouse Death Adder Elite series. The Basilisk series came out and I had to try it, The tension control on the scroll wheel makes it nice so you dont over spin wile switching weapons in my FPP games, the extra button for whatever you want to use it for makes things easy so you have one less key on your keyboard worry about. What I dont like is its size. I have big hands with long fingers and it does not feel natural in my hand like the Death Adder. When Im in game my grip just dont feel right seems to throw me off my game ,feels to small. It would be cool if Razer could build the next model based off the Death Adder and little bigger to. All and all Im still happy with the performance.

> 3 dayGreat gaming mouse. 10/10 would recommend it. Daily use this mouse for years now and it held the test of time. The lighting is great, and the mouse performs exceptionally.

> 3 dayI had to abandon Razer mice for a bit as the arthritis i got from limes disease while in the army started to get worse. I couldnt use my beloved Mamba anymore. I switched to the Logitech G602 and was in love with almost everything about it. But as soon as i saw the basilisk i was very happy. It has a very similar shape and feel to the G602 (the G903 was too skinny and long for me). But with Razers FAR superior software, aesthetic and switches. Happy to have a 100% razer desktop again and waiting on them to copy Stinkys foot pad to make ALL my peripherals Razer.

> 3 dayThe mouse itself works great and has a lot of customization options, from changing LED lighting or sensitivity on the fly. However, the mouse also comes with an entire suite of software that has to be installed and a majority of it you probably dont need. That means this mouse isnt just a plug and play deal since you have to go through this setup but if youre that person who wants to tweak every little thing about the mouse then this is fine for you. When my first mouse arrived the rubber gripping near the very base of the thumb and palm is coming away from the mouse. I ordered a replacement and the new one has the same issue. I expected a little more from a pricier mouse.

> 3 dayI went from the Razer Mamba which was a gift. It was great for awhile but finally died (pretty sure I raged and slapped my mouse to the mousepad one too many times). I tried the Death Adder which was fine but I found to be too big for my hand. The Basilisk has a nice inset and the buttons are further back and just fit me better. I havent gone through trying to create macros with any of them yet, but maybe with the extra button on the side. We will see. If you are looking for something slightly smaller than the Death Adder I think you will like this.
