> 3 dayI bought 1 then it started having scrolling problems after about 1-2 years of 20 hours/week usage. Everything else was fine. I ordered another one the same one and so far works well and is comfortable and I have medium-large hands. It feels like a gaming mouse. Accurate and precise.

Greater than one weekIm still searching for my favorite mouse, after my old one(s) retired. I gave up on Logitech due to all the ones I tried having the double(or more) click issue. I love my Steel Series Rival 710, but was unhappy with the overall shape. This Razer Basilisk v2 is okay, but its too small for me. The buttons click very nicely, but while the shape is more ergonomic than my last mouse, the overall design makes my thumb line up wrong for accessing the side buttons. But the main issue I have with it is that it is so light. Some folks may love this, but I prefer a heavier mouse. This mouse is so light that it tends to move with every hand gesture. This is something I dont want while playing a game. A heavier mouse stays put better and resists subtle movements caused by hand/finger repositioning. The scroll wheel is kind of flimsy-feeling too. It is adjustable, but I cant get it just right, but it will do. The mouse is very light and feels hollow to me. Im still using it, but will probably switch back to my Steel Series Rival 710 soon. The search continues...

Greater than one weekIm thoroughly impressed and Im enjoying the Razer Basilisk V2. I recently switched from the Logitech G502, and Ive been a long time Logitech user. However, lately Ive began switching over to Razer products for my PC gaming needs, and Im finding that Razer is the superior product for my personal needs. I love how close of a design the Razer Basilisk V2 is to the Logitech G502. For reasons of weight, design, and ergonomics feel like a Razer has the better gaming mouse here. The mouse moves very smooth and effortlessly over my cloth gaming mat (and any flat surface actually) with no hiccups. I dont know what theyre called, but the smooth fritctionless pieces of plastic on the bottom of the mouse glide extremely nicely on my desk. I also love how the mouse scroll wheel friction is fully adjustable with a tension resistance selector on the bottom of the mouse; I dislike how other gaming mice have too much / too little tension, and this allows you to find your own personal sweet spot. The mouse syncs up nicely Razers Synapse software quickly, and it allowed me a lot of customization options to my mouse that I really like. I can add an optional trigger button button near the thumb rest and buttons that I can configure with this too, which was an unexpected surprise. Im impressed at how Razer seems to have a plethora of options with the gamer in mind. The setup and design of the software is emulated in every way to the actual physical device. Its all very impressive to me. The lighting FX for the mouse are great too. The Razer Basilisk V2 allows both the mouse scroll wheel and its logo to be customized to suit your color palate. The Synapse software allowed me to match my other RGB lighting peripherals with no problems. Im most pleased with the lighted scroll wheel though, as I think its a nice aesthetic design choice that looks really cool... especially when compared to other gaming mice on the market that incorporate RGB lighting effects. All in all this Im very pleased with my purchase, and I think that the Razer Basilisk V2 is a great gaming mouse. It was exactly what I was looking for. I had previously been using the Logitech Proteus G502, and I personally prefer the Razer Basilisk V2 over it... hands down!

> 3 dayHands down the best mouse Ive had. The magnetic removable thumb button is awesome, the mousewheel side to side buttons are super handy. Being able to adjust the resistance of the scroll wheel is awesome. The thumb rest is very comfy, I didnt know if I would like it but all mice going forward will have a thumb rest. The software is great, adjusting dpi on the fly is great, overall great product. Ive recommended it to friends and theyve loved it also. Very good product for a steal of a price.

> 3 dayThe product comes with 20k dpi option now obviously no one plans on using that (if you do wow your really something) but it shows the quality of the optical sensor. The trigger on the left button is great and very responsive. The buttons can be synced to many many things from keyboard commands to multimedia keys. RGB could’ve been more prominent but I definetley prefer the v2 over the v3 if we’re talking base price for both as the v3 just slaps some Rgb in the bottom and asks for more. Definitely recommend this mouse. Also the cable is great for gamers as even with cable management it gives leave for you to pull it

> 3 dayThis mouse has a lot of buttons and lets you map keys to mouse functions, which is great. Definitely an upgrade over a cheap Walmart mouse.

> 3 dayScroll wheel started encoding wrong after less than a year. The mouse is nice, but really not meaningfully nicer than cheap gaming mice I can buy 4 of for the same price. They seem to last me 6 months before a button starts double clicking or not clicking or not registering releases or some other problem with a basic operation of the mouse. Im sad that this didnt really last any longer before I got some deal breaking problem. I use grab and drag and the tilt scroll to get around the issue right now, but Ive essentially ceased using the scroll wheel as a scroll wheel. There just doesnt seem to be a reliable gaming mouse with the form I like with a rest for your thumb. I gave what I thought was a quality mouse a try and it let down just as hard as cheaper options so I guess Im at the point where I just have to consider my gaming mice consumables for my PC like printer ink.

> 3 dayRecently bought one of those big keyboard/mouse mats. Dont play PC game anymore myself but my 6 year old son is learning to play simple kids games; he messed up my Razer mouse pad I had for years, hence the big mat (reduces his fingerprints on the glass computer desk too). I had been using a decade old Microsoft sidewinder v2 mouse and never bothered to get another mouse because if its not broken, dont fix it. Well, that sidewinder mouse does not work properly on the neoprene mat. Looked at reviews for several mice, even went to Best Buy to get a feel for many mice. This particular Razer mouse had the one of the best feel to it for me personally. Saw it for the lowest price on Amazon so I went for it. I went with best bang for buck. $45 for $79 MSRP. It slides smooth as butter on the neoprene mat. It made me install Razers software but I just chose guest. Lets you choose 5 different DPI settings. 20k DPI is super fast. I settled for 1800 DPI for normal use. Love the grip on the mouse as its rubberize by the thumb grip. You can even adjust the scroll wheel resistance which is a nice touch. Software allows you to change the lighting color easily. A solid purchase considering the cost of computer mice these days.

> 3 dayMy previous mouse was the Logitech M705, and Ive had it for about 7 years, and I decided to get a new mouse. Despite the fact that this mouse is wired, the wire is nearly weightless, its flexible and long enough to not create any difference, and theres no drag whatsoever. The ergonomics is very good, but depending on your hand grip, you may or may not be able to reach the hypershift clutch. For me however it is just long enough to reach. The buttons are crisp and very clean with near negligible input delay. The customization software is perfect for making sure you can have different setups for everyday use as well as gaming. For example, I bind my hypershift clutch to ctrl and the scroll tilts to left and right so I can switch between different desktops, but when I switch to my gaming profile, I bind the clutch to my secondary so I can easily reach it in a pinch. Overall, the mouse is perfect for gaming. It isnt the lightest thing ever, but it definitely gets the job done.
