Plug & Play. Easy set up. Easy customization. Used on 4 devices by 2 people. Does not show wear. Extremely ergonomic [I have very large hands] I really like the ability to switch profiles on the fly. Used for MMO play and Graphic design. Last mouse Ill ever own

For the people considering this mouse over a G502: If you have a deathadder, this mouse basically feels like a slightly better deathadder but with the g502 shape. Most reviews will talk about the buttons generally feeling gummier, and I do agree--clicks do not feel as definite or solid on this mouse than the g502. I prefer the basilisk buttons though because g502 clicks are about as loud as gunshots in my house. The build quality is solid, havent had problems with it in the few days testing. The stock mouse feet are miles better than logitech, but its honestly not that hard to improve on garbage. One thing to note--I have semi-sweaty hands, and due to the material of the mouse, my hands tend to get a little hot and sweaty if Im using this thing for a long time. Again, if youve owned a deathadder before, this is probably an experience youre used to. Ive used the g502 with all of the weights inside of it, this mouse is definitely lighter, but because the mouse feet arent garbage, it feels pretty precise and nice to use. The mouse cable is miles better than the g502 and reminds of the type of cabling used for power supply cables--I imagine itll last longer. Its also quite a bit longer than the g502 cable if thats a plus for you. You are required to download synapse and make an account to change profiles on this mouse. Why this is the case is beyond me but do note that you cannot just upload profiles to the g502 and uninstall logitechs software like I usually do for the g502. Overall solid mouse. If youre looking to try out a g502 alternative Id recommend giving this one a shot.

After looking for a new mouse for about a year after building my computer and buying a cheap mouse online, i never would have guessed how primitive that mouse really was, having never had a mouse over 8k dpi moving to 20k was something i really had to get used to but it allows me to be very precise without being a burden even when not gaming. the mouse is also one of the most ergonomic ones i have tried out, it really fits my hand well and works as if it is an extension of my hand. i also like the fact that i can change the settings of this mouse like the rest of my razer gear. great mouse at a great price.

Recently bought one of those big keyboard/mouse mats. Dont play PC game anymore myself but my 6 year old son is learning to play simple kids games; he messed up my Razer mouse pad I had for years, hence the big mat (reduces his fingerprints on the glass computer desk too). I had been using a decade old Microsoft sidewinder v2 mouse and never bothered to get another mouse because if its not broken, dont fix it. Well, that sidewinder mouse does not work properly on the neoprene mat. Looked at reviews for several mice, even went to Best Buy to get a feel for many mice. This particular Razer mouse had the one of the best feel to it for me personally. Saw it for the lowest price on Amazon so I went for it. I went with best bang for buck. $45 for $79 MSRP. It slides smooth as butter on the neoprene mat. It made me install Razers software but I just chose guest. Lets you choose 5 different DPI settings. 20k DPI is super fast. I settled for 1800 DPI for normal use. Love the grip on the mouse as its rubberize by the thumb grip. You can even adjust the scroll wheel resistance which is a nice touch. Software allows you to change the lighting color easily. A solid purchase considering the cost of computer mice these days.

Claims that the mouse has on board memory are a big fat lie. The app that you have to download must be running on the computer before the mouse remembers the programming. So before thats loaded, the mouse doesnt remember the programming. If thats what the company said, I wouldnt be writing this. But no, they lie. They say the mouse itself has on board memory. Also, even though they say you can have a lot of colors, and even though they let you customize from any color your computer will display, the actual color displayed on the mouse will be bright and not very nuanced. So, more lying. Update 3/2022: Disconnected and uninstalled the software. This thing is an annoying, lying piece of carp. I dont like flashy colors on my mouse, but even though they claim on board memory, its a forking lie. But Im uninstalling because the app is constantly being updated and demands your attention. AND FOR WHAT? My old $10 mouse doesnt flash colors and doesnt demand my attention all the damn time. This mouse is good for nothing. Dont buy it. Wish I could get my money back. Total waste of good money.

I originally bought the viper mini because I heard it was best for girl to game with, but that mouse was too small. I also knew I needed accessible side switches and a cool design and a high arch… my hands are small but not too small for this mouse. The basilisk perfectly fits my claw grip playing style.

The product comes with 20k dpi option now obviously no one plans on using that (if you do wow your really something) but it shows the quality of the optical sensor. The trigger on the left button is great and very responsive. The buttons can be synced to many many things from keyboard commands to multimedia keys. RGB could’ve been more prominent but I definetley prefer the v2 over the v3 if we’re talking base price for both as the v3 just slaps some Rgb in the bottom and asks for more. Definitely recommend this mouse. Also the cable is great for gamers as even with cable management it gives leave for you to pull it

I ordered three gaming mice to choose from so I knew I was getting what I wanted. I ordered the Logitech G502 SE Hero, the Razer Viper Ultralight wired, and this mouse, the v2 basilisk. This mouse easily won out on the other two. It looks sleek, feels very comfortable to hold, is very lightweight, has very well placed buttons on the side, and glides across the mousepad with ease. My favorite part of this mouse, however, is the easily removable paddle located at the tip of the thumb on the side of the mouse. This was a dealbreaker for me with the G502. It’s button felt terrible placed and was annoying when clicked. On the basilisk however, it’s magnetic and can be removed and re-installed with ease in less than 5 seconds. It also feels very comfortable to click. The user interface is very sophisticated and intuitive, yet not overwhelming. There is a button on the bottom of the mouse that lets you change between “profiles”, (read custom button presets) with 0 effort. There is also a slider on the bottom of the mouse that lets you customize the resistance of the scroll wheel, so you can get exactly what kind of respond you want from your mouse. As someone who had been told that they are sometimes a little too picky with not-super-important things (i.e. a gaming mouse), I cannot recommend this mouse enough. I will say that I have only had this mouse for two weeks, so I can’t speak to its expected life. However, barring any complete durability malfunctions, this mouse had exceeded every expectation, and I am very pleased with this product overall. Enjoy!
