> 3 dayIn all honesty, this is the best feeling mouse Ive tried... and Ive tried. Searched for ergo mice, tried the g502, nothing feels quite as good in my hand. If you dont want all the fancy lighting there are cheaper options... but theyre all variations of the basilisk. And my only gripe with the v3 is the wire. But if youve got the cash, the v3 pro is the perfect mouse. (Which I full intend to upgrade to)

> 3 dayThis thing dies, FAST. You will have to constantly charge it. if youve ever had a Logitech G Pro wireless, then you know what battery life is like and the razer is just not it. I can go weeks without having to charge my G Pro, but the razer needs a charge at least every 2 days which gets annoying when you have to use it as a wired mouse if it dies while you want to use it. Overall its a great mouse but the battery life aint it chief.

Greater than one weekAs soon as you plug it in, it automatically starts installing 500Mb of software. Ridiculous for a mouse. Also, the software doesnt work correctly. The pointer was lagging, jumping, freezing, you name it. I uninstalled the 500MB of software and what do you know....it works like a normal mouse again. I cant change the color of the lights without the software. Big deal. There are YouTube videos about which services to disable to get the mouse working correctly, but my advice is to just plug it in, let the software install, set the mouse up how you want...colors, dpi, scroll wheel behaviors, etc....then uninstall the software. The mouse will remember your settings on its internal memory, you dont need a 500Mb program running every time you power on, just to use your mouse. Give me a break.

> 3 day6 month edit: The hyperscoll wheel is a league above Logitech’s infinite wheel. The wheel scrolling is a good mix of tactile and smooth albeit non adjustable. Very smooth over mousepad. I barely notice that it’s a wired mouse with how light and long the cable is. The rgb distributes very smooth light, very comfortable mouse. The fixed in place “sniper button” is a step backward from the removable one on the Basilisk V2. The V2’s button being metal, longer, AND magnetic is nicer. It protrudes less off the side of the mouse and has a better click to it. Razer: Make a wireless Basilisk with the hyper scroll wheel of the V3 and the sniper button of the V2 and I’ll spend my money with you guys again. Until then the G502X lightspeed is superior.

> 3 dayReally 4-1/2 stars. The Razor Basilisk V3 is nearly perfect hardware. The shortcomings are in the software and firmwear. Pro Built solid and not a rattle trap like my old logitech. Scroll wheel in clicky mode is the perfect resistance. All the switches have excellent feel and response. Being optical switches I dont expect issues with switch chatter Big enough for my big hands. The scroll wheel acceleration is cool if a bit gimmicky Cons Lighting profiles cant be stored in the onboard profiles. The lighting is a rotating color without the software. I use a KVM and wish I could just set the mouse to solid color for the systems that dont have synapse installed. The synapse software sometimes fails to detect a game is running and doesnt switch profiles. Conclusion Im replacing a Logitech G502 and that mouse served me wall but I never liked its scroll setup. It needed frequent cleaning and the Logitech isnt exactly easy to get into. for the necessary cleaning. (Cat hair). The logitech died of worn out switches. Something that I doubt will be a problem with optical switches. The Basilisk feels more solid than the Logitech despite being lighter. It just feels like quality.

> 3 dayIm coming from a G502 hero. I love that mouse, but it started to make my wrist hurt. The Baskilisk is a bit lighter but still gives a nice heavy feel. It glides smoothly, and the button layout is good (with the hero Id have the issue misclicking the dpi button) my hands arent the biggest but I feel far more comfortable with this than the G502 hero. Button clicks feel solid (had it for 2 months now, no problems), Overall a good mouse, and the RGB, if youre into it, is top-notch. My only real con is the right and left mouse buttons, not the biggest fan of the hard plastic they used, but I honestly dont notice them when gaming or deep browsing.

Greater than one weekIt solve the charging problem from last version, but this one if you want to have better experience you need to purchase extra charging dock set which is 69 dollar, for the. Price it is not good, but for the using experience it is perfect
