> 3 dayThis is my main. I have the Viper Ultimate and the Viper mini from Razer as well as others from logitech such as the g305, g703 and the model d minus incoming. The Deathadder v2 is the one I perform the best with, no competition. I play claw and palm/claw with a hand size of 19.1 x 9.9cm and the ergonomics on this thing are hard to get used to, but once you do its hard to go back to any other shape. I wish there was an EC2 size variant to this because the mini is more like an EC4 and its too small for me. The DA is slightly on the big side for my grip style but its still very comfy and lightweight. The side buttons are a little too far forward for me to reliably hit the front side button which is a bummer. The sensor is flawless and is more reliable than the hero on my G703 which doesnt like a few of my pads (I mightve got a defective unit). The clicks are better than the viper ultimate, but not as good as the Viper mini but still good. Optical switches are different but not in a good or bad way just different the pros: they are quick durable and wont double click, the cons: the feedback is different and on the viper ultimate, almost mushy. The side grips are really nice and if you need extra grip try the Razer grips, I highly recommend them. The cable is basically non existent (I have a bungee), i cant feel it. The feet werent as good as the other new Razers for some reason speed wise. They would also catch my soft pad when swiping left/rear and I count figure out why so I replaced them with tiger arc 2s and they are better for sure. The build quality is very premium without being heavy. The price is perfect in my opinion. Out of all the mice I own this is the most fairly priced other than the Viper mini. In my honest opinion, itll take a lot for another mouse to take its spot as my FPS main.

> 3 dayIve had the mouse for 2 months now and this is probably the most comfortable mouse in my hand that I have ever bought. The soft but hard texture of the mouse is amazing. Combine that with how your fingers feel encompassed by the buttons with the ergonomic design and it makes for a very enjoyable experience. When I lay my hand on the mouse it feels natural, and apart of my hand, instead of my hand just simply laying on top of it, if that makes sense. And the RGB on the mouse is dope, and in moderation. Top that off with a 50$ price point and I am VERY satisfied with my purchase. I take away 1 star for 4 small reasons that are not deal breakers, but could use some improvement or just things I dont prefer. 1. The 2 buttons for the thumb are too far foward. Instead of my thumb resting in the middle of the 2 buttons making it easy to hit either one, my thumb rests on the center of the button closest to me forcing me to have to stretch my thumb up to the front of 2 the buttoms. Ive gotten used to it now, and it may not be an issue for some, but its something to keep in mind. Also I have big hands, Im a 300lb male (I use this account for prime) and im 64 so it isnt a small hands issue the buttons are just legitly too far forward. 2. There is a slight deadzone when you left click. Not sure if this is really a con, as I believe it has helped me with miss clicking less. However I do prefer an immediate click with no give in the button. None the less it was nothing to get used to it and now I dont even notice it. In fact, it could have even been a calculated design to help with miss clicking since the button itself doesnt need much force to activate a click. Either way, it took some getting used too and is not what I prefer, but its still good. 3. The scroll wheel is not great. This doesnt mean much as most mice I have had didnt have a great scroll wheel. It just feels... cheap and doesnt always like to lock in to place sometimes if you are lightly scrolling on the wheel. Not a major deal though as I said most mice Ive had didnt have great scroll wheels. 4. Most mice have a sound to them while clicking. This mouse sound a bit hollow. When you click it sounds like it resonates in the body of the mouse. I came from a Logitec g203 prodigy mouse and the sound of that mouse made the mouse sound well built, not hollow. Again this is not a deal breaker nor a major issue but it is something to keep in mind. Pros: - Most comfortable mouse in my hand I have ever owned - Very accurate and amazing for gaming - I got it for 49.99 so it was a great deal for such a comfortable, accurate mouse - +200fps because the mouse has RGB :) Cons: - Thumb mouse buttons are a bit too far forward on the mouse - Very slight deadzone when left clicking but nothing serious or anything to worry about - The sound of the mouse/clicks sound hollow. Makes the mouse sound cheaper. But its lightweight so.. - Scroll wheel feels, cheap

> 3 dayBought this mouse to try and de-wire my home. This mouse having two connection settings is great! At home i use it with the 2.4hz dongle to play games like league and fortnite. but the true value shows when i swap it to blutooth and connect it to my work laptop. I set the side buttons to ctrl C and ctrl V and sped up my monotonous office job 10 fold. Now i have more time to scroll new jobs. The one downside is you need the razer program to change profiles unlike its wired brother where theres a button on the bottom.

Greater than one weekIn April 2021, I purchased this mouse and had absolutely no problem with it for months, up until March of 2022 (11 months). By this point, as you can see in the pictures, and in the spot where the thumb is in the ergonomic picture on this listing, a hole started to wear into the grip material where my thumb would rest. I first contacted Razer stating the mouse was developing a cosmetic issue that was affecting its handling but not its performance and asked for advice on what I should do, as Id been ignoring it for quite some time and found it was becoming distracting. They sent a standard response, asking if my setup was in a cool, ventilated area (it is), and then jump straight into the realm of RMA because, apparently, the concept of having replaceable grip material makes less sense than replacing an entire mouse. I inquired and was instructed to remove the grip tapes I had purchased and placed on the mouse and was assured a new set would be provided. I then ran into numerous issues with their website not allowing me to pay for the Advanced RMA option. Not only do they not bother with actual phone support, which would be nice when things arent working online, but you cant use the site itself to try to access the RMA payment area; you have to use the specific link they send you in their emails. I found this out after several days of going back and forth with emails to support, sending numerous screenshots showing the site would not cooperate. If I did ANYTHING other than using the link sent in their emails, Id be treated to a picture of a waddling cartoon goose with (of all things) a mouse in its beak. That was quite...frustrating to experience. What made it even MORE magical was waiting over a week before they even seem to contemplate sending my Advanced Replacement...and I had to ask THEM what was going on! The final cherry on top was the copious amounts of reminders I gave them before the unit was being shipped to me to make sure to include the promised grip tape. Guess what didnt show up with the mouse? If you said the grip tape you win a gold star. To summarize: I had a tiny, but very noticeable problem developing on my mouse and not only did the company choose to go through an unnecessarily expense method to correct it, but they provided terrible service, the site seems to be poorly coded, and their support has difficulty reading and comprehending emails and chats, seem slow to ship and process Advanced RMA security deposit refunds, and seem utterly incompetent when it comes to performing what should have been a simple task. I had a lot of empty promises made by a lot of people who seemed more keen on using templates and repeating actions that didnt work the previous six times than in actually solving the problem. While I love the mouse, I will never purchase another Razer product again. Bonus: After only three months, the replacement mouse I found I was wearing through the material in the same spot again! This time, rather than go through a second dose of their piss-poor support, I merely purchased some grip tape from Amazon, cut the shape I needed to cover the area in question, and now the mouse handles wonderfully. God forbid Razer invests just a few more cents into using more durable material on the area where the thumb rests. It would seem that would break the bank and destroy life as we know it. Ten minutes of time and two inches of grip tape pared down to the semi-circle shape I needed easily beats out a month of wasted time and extreme frustration.

> 3 dayI have been buying the Razer DeathAdder for years. Every time I need a new mouse or my DeathAdder from 5+ years ago dies I find myself right back here buying another one. I have tried several other mice including some really highly rated logitec mice and just keep coming back to the DeathAdder. For medium to large hands the shape of this mouse is just perfiect. I cant recommend it enough.
