> 3 dayI have been buying the Razer DeathAdder for years. Every time I need a new mouse or my DeathAdder from 5+ years ago dies I find myself right back here buying another one. I have tried several other mice including some really highly rated logitec mice and just keep coming back to the DeathAdder. For medium to large hands the shape of this mouse is just perfiect. I cant recommend it enough.

> 3 dayWas skeptical at first because I just got into PC gaming and thought the difference between a generic gaming mouse and a brand name mouse. Now I know! This is 100% worth it and I love halo. I have the keyboard also

> 3 dayI purchased this mouse as a replacement for a very similar mouse from another maker, which I used for years, but it was ready to retire. So far, I am very pleased with this mouse. Things I like are as follows: - Braided cord glides along nicely with mouse, and no batteries means less weight also contributing to nice gliding movement. - Variable movement resolution buttons behind wheel allow me to optimize it quickly and easily for whatever it is I am doing at any moment. - Simple classic shape, as well as material and textures, feels good in the hand. - Enough buttons to make it versatile, without so many to start getting in the way. The only negative I could give it, can also be a positive, and is really just me getting used to it compared with my old mouse. The two main buttons (left and right MB), are very light to press, and it is easy to click unintentionally, especially right mouse button. I am getting more used to this and it is becoming less of a problem. For gaming, it can be a benefit, as the buttons are so light, they do allow very fast responses to whatever situation. All in all, I am very pleased, and would choose to purchase this mouse again.

> 3 dayEverything about it is great, from the grip to the smoothness. However, I have had to replace this mouse once already due to the thumb grip quickly deteriorating. So be careful, if you’re within warranty just swap it for a new one and you’ll be set.

> 3 dayIve seen a lot of reviews that are negative about Synapse, and while I am aware of the issues with Synapse these reviews are fairly disingenuous and damaged my perception on whether I should buy this. I want the optic switches to avoid double clicking, but the one caveat was the idea of being forced to use Synapse. If you want to CUSTOMIZE the mouse lighting or features (not in game button configs) then Synapse is required, but if you expected that you could do this without software interfacing thats kind of your fault. Personally I dont care to customize it, the default lighting works like the original Deathadder Chroma on a RGB cycle, and the DPI changes with the middle buttons (doesnt require Synapse). I saw someone mention that there are no more adhesive bonded grip tape pieces on the sides, and I can confirm that they switched to a solid piece of rubber/silicone material (it feels better quality and the grip pattern is less prone to pockets of grime than the first Deathadder Chromas pattern). I used the first version for 5ish years with no deterioration on the pads (Logitech rubber material always breaks down and gets soft after extended use for me, so I have this concern), Im expecting these to be fine. Im happier with less adhesive bonds because the pads started peeling on my old mouse. All in all this just feels like a better Deathadder Chroma. It was plug and play for me with no Synapse installed on my computer since the moment I plugged it in. That said, I hate Synapse, please fix it. The software is garbage (with syncing issues and not recognizing devices) and is required for the new USB (at least) Krakens. I had the fortune of not making a purchase that required it, but had the misfortune of troubleshooting someone else unfortunate purchase of a kitty headset that did.

> 3 dayAre you a bad boy that whips any mouse in to a state of double click within weeks or months? Behold the optical button, a button you can now destroy in a new and different way. I actually went back from years of Logitech wireless mice to this mouse. Logitech has great latency on its wireless but their build quality is atrocious and double click problems rampant. My last mouse from Logitech experienced 6 RMAs. Take it back to the early 2000 gamer aesthetics Fatal1ty style. Feels great in an adult hand, clicks great, mouse bungee to lift the cable and no more worry about batteries. This is my new long term mouse until Logitech gets their buttons under control.

> 3 dayI find it very comfortable, quality in terms of the cable (not overly stiff) and protected by a woven lining, and lastly its incredibly sensitive. 5 stars

> 3 dayI have purchased many... MANY mice in my life and this one was very weird to get used to, but the performance of this mouse is the best. I am a gamer, but I also do autocad work with my mouse. I click a lot. My biggest complaint of all mice was the fact that eventually it would begin to double click when you only want to click once, and once that happens, it never fixes itself. I have cleaned my mice and dismantled them and have received replacements and always to be disappointed not long after. I have also spent a lot more money on a mouse than this one. I have used Cobra, Asus ROG, Logitech, Roccat, etc. they do not compare so far. This mouse is great. Im only slightly nervous the scroll wheel will eventually malfunction like most mice do, as I am not sure the mechanism is any different from other mice, but I could be wrong. The way the mouse is designed, it is (as far as I know) impossible for this mouse to double click due to a malfunction mechanically. The DPI settings are fairly straight forward and the LED is customizable. I dont play with the LED settings, as I am ADD and that distracts me. The DPI settings are nice and you are able to adjust for most tasks. The design of the mouse is solid, but a bit awkward. It took me a month to get used to this mouse in my hand. Once I was finally adjusted to the mouse, I cant find anything to complain about. It is great.
