Fits nicely in the hand. I have used several of these. I worn out the one I use 10+ hours per day after 6 years, so time for a new one.

I find it very comfortable, quality in terms of the cable (not overly stiff) and protected by a woven lining, and lastly its incredibly sensitive. 5 stars

Great for desktops, but do not buy for laptops. Razer Synapse 3 will sometimes randomly decide to take 20% cpu usage for no apparent reason which drains the battery of my Lenovo Legion 5 laptop very quickly. However if you are looking for a wireless mouse with replaceable batteries for a desktop computer then this is the best option. I have tried Logitechs G305 which had reliability issues, and Steelseries Rival 3 wireless which had to be woken up every time you left it for 5 minutes and burned through batteries at an alarming rate. The Razer auto wakes itself when you move it (like a wired mouse) and its battery lasts about a week with everyday use. It has so far been far more reliable then the Logitech I had before it. Its really a shame about the software because if the software was better then this would be a perfect mouse. Yet another case of a gaming peripheral being ruined by crap software.

I got this because I read on multiple sites it is one of the most silent gaming mouse but I found that it is louder than my Logitech G403 Prodigy RGB Gaming Mouse. I also like the weight and feel of the Logitech more than the Razer but it could be that I’m not used to a lighter weight mouse. I like Razor products, this just wasn’t what I was looking for (being very quiet). Couldn’t pay up that amazing Black Friday deal though!

I just opened it and I already found a perfect mouse fit for my hand. Movements are smooth and accurate with a nice response for each click. A budget mouse I think? But MAN is it good for what I need. Plus Im a bulky person so the fact it fits in my hand so perfectly is a plus. I play so many games. So many, but a good favorite to mess around in is CSGO. This mouse made every shot feel like absolute butter. All in all 10/10. Would likely recommend. Smaller hand be warned.

In April 2021, I purchased this mouse and had absolutely no problem with it for months, up until March of 2022 (11 months). By this point, as you can see in the pictures, and in the spot where the thumb is in the ergonomic picture on this listing, a hole started to wear into the grip material where my thumb would rest. I first contacted Razer stating the mouse was developing a cosmetic issue that was affecting its handling but not its performance and asked for advice on what I should do, as Id been ignoring it for quite some time and found it was becoming distracting. They sent a standard response, asking if my setup was in a cool, ventilated area (it is), and then jump straight into the realm of RMA because, apparently, the concept of having replaceable grip material makes less sense than replacing an entire mouse. I inquired and was instructed to remove the grip tapes I had purchased and placed on the mouse and was assured a new set would be provided. I then ran into numerous issues with their website not allowing me to pay for the Advanced RMA option. Not only do they not bother with actual phone support, which would be nice when things arent working online, but you cant use the site itself to try to access the RMA payment area; you have to use the specific link they send you in their emails. I found this out after several days of going back and forth with emails to support, sending numerous screenshots showing the site would not cooperate. If I did ANYTHING other than using the link sent in their emails, Id be treated to a picture of a waddling cartoon goose with (of all things) a mouse in its beak. That was quite...frustrating to experience. What made it even MORE magical was waiting over a week before they even seem to contemplate sending my Advanced Replacement...and I had to ask THEM what was going on! The final cherry on top was the copious amounts of reminders I gave them before the unit was being shipped to me to make sure to include the promised grip tape. Guess what didnt show up with the mouse? If you said the grip tape you win a gold star. To summarize: I had a tiny, but very noticeable problem developing on my mouse and not only did the company choose to go through an unnecessarily expense method to correct it, but they provided terrible service, the site seems to be poorly coded, and their support has difficulty reading and comprehending emails and chats, seem slow to ship and process Advanced RMA security deposit refunds, and seem utterly incompetent when it comes to performing what should have been a simple task. I had a lot of empty promises made by a lot of people who seemed more keen on using templates and repeating actions that didnt work the previous six times than in actually solving the problem. While I love the mouse, I will never purchase another Razer product again. Bonus: After only three months, the replacement mouse I found I was wearing through the material in the same spot again! This time, rather than go through a second dose of their piss-poor support, I merely purchased some grip tape from Amazon, cut the shape I needed to cover the area in question, and now the mouse handles wonderfully. God forbid Razer invests just a few more cents into using more durable material on the area where the thumb rests. It would seem that would break the bank and destroy life as we know it. Ten minutes of time and two inches of grip tape pared down to the semi-circle shape I needed easily beats out a month of wasted time and extreme frustration.

I have purchased many... MANY mice in my life and this one was very weird to get used to, but the performance of this mouse is the best. I am a gamer, but I also do autocad work with my mouse. I click a lot. My biggest complaint of all mice was the fact that eventually it would begin to double click when you only want to click once, and once that happens, it never fixes itself. I have cleaned my mice and dismantled them and have received replacements and always to be disappointed not long after. I have also spent a lot more money on a mouse than this one. I have used Cobra, Asus ROG, Logitech, Roccat, etc. they do not compare so far. This mouse is great. Im only slightly nervous the scroll wheel will eventually malfunction like most mice do, as I am not sure the mechanism is any different from other mice, but I could be wrong. The way the mouse is designed, it is (as far as I know) impossible for this mouse to double click due to a malfunction mechanically. The DPI settings are fairly straight forward and the LED is customizable. I dont play with the LED settings, as I am ADD and that distracts me. The DPI settings are nice and you are able to adjust for most tasks. The design of the mouse is solid, but a bit awkward. It took me a month to get used to this mouse in my hand. Once I was finally adjusted to the mouse, I cant find anything to complain about. It is great.

I had an older version of this mouse before it started having problems with its buttons and replaced it with this newer version. Its a great mouse and a good upgrade! Right away, I should note that you shouldnt get too fooled/confused by the 8 programmable buttons tagline--its counting every single button on the mouse, including the standard left and right click and buttons to adjust settings on the bottom of the mouse that you would never use during normal gameplay or computer use. The only two extra buttons on this mouse for gamebinding are the two on the left side you can click with your thumb. The other buttons are: left and right click, the mouse wheel, two buttons underneath the mouse wheel to adjust the DPI of the mouse, and a button on the bottom of the mouse to switch between profiles. So if youre wanting more buttons to use during gameplay--like, say, having an entire MMO hotbar on your mouse--this isnt the right one. Its useful if you just want to have a couple of buttons that are easily accessed though! I like using my mouse buttons for stuff like push-to-talk and melee attacks in FPS games. As for the changes compared to the previous version of the Deathadder mouse, theyre small but for my use theyre good QOL changes. The biggest improvement is the spot underneath the side buttons where youre meant to rest your thumb--in the previous version this was a glued-on rubber pad that game off after a year or so or use. In the V2 mouse, its now a textured part of the rest of the material of the mouse--the only way its coming off is if the entire mouse case comes off! I could see the texturing being warn a bit, but thats certainly better than my thumb being gummed up by glue after the pad fell off! The other main change that Ive noticed is that I think this mouse is slightly smaller than the previous version. This is great for me, since Im a woman with small palms and long, thin fingers--I often have problems using gaming mice and controllers comfortably. That being said, Im not sure if this would be as comfortable for users with larger hands--if youre worried, Id suggest seeing if you can get measurements for a mouse you find comfortable and then comparing it to the size of this mouse. I believe the profile and DPI buttons are also new features, although honestly I havent messed with that much since Im not experienced with those settings and I havent needed it for my own gameplaying. It does seem like a good feature and the buttons seem like theyre good quality and Ive never accidentally pressed them during gameplay, which is great. Probably want to check other reviews if you need more information there. Looks-wise, this is simple, but pretty looking mouse. The light on the logo and mouse wheel is really colorful but not bright enough to be distracting when the lights are off in the room. Its pretty easy to use Razers software to change the color to your tastes, or you can leave it on a default setting where it cycles through various colors in a rainbow order. I know theres also a feature that game devs can use to have the mouse colors be manipulated by the game itself, but Ive only ever played one game where I know for sure this was implemented--Overwatch changes the color of the mouse based on the character youre playing as. I dont think its been used by many other games, and honestly I dont find myself looking at my mouse that much while playing anyway--its probably a feature thats more fun on keyboards. Overall, I think this is a really great mouse! I recommend it for people that game on their PC or otherwise use their computer enough to want something that has a few more features and/or is a bit more sturdy than a cheaper mouse. If youre a huge tech nerd or want more button options, it might be a better idea to save up for a more expensive mouse. But I think at this price point this mouse has a lot of comfort and control.

After six years my original DeathAdder Elite gave up the ghost - one of the switches went. It was a shame because otherwise the mouse held up remarkably well (I did have to re-grease the wheel to get rid of an annoying squeak and replace the skates, but other than that it was great). This new version has multiple improvements. The skates are much better than the originals, on-par with aftermarket. I like the switches more, they are clickier than the old version and it gives a nice tactile experience. Overall a very worthy successor of the old version. The one big drawback - unlike the old version, the new one has no memory of RGB settings without installing and constantly running Razers bloatware. If youre not running Synapse, if your computer is in sleep mode or even just locked, it goes through the garish color cycle display. This is annoying and a big step-back. The old one you could install Synapse, set the color and then disable or remove it. I guess Razer wants to force you to run their bloatware. I found it slightly misleading that they market it as having an advanced onboard memory when they removed the RGB setting storage the old models had... Might be my last DeathAdder if they keep this up...

Remember Guys In razor synapse DO NOT mess with the Celebration Leave those alone ! if you have all you gotta do is hold the profile mouse button on the bottom hold it for 10 seconds it restores everything back to factory default as in the box. Oh One more thing! dont bitch about the loose left and right click buttons it will do that for a few days because it is Brand new takes about after 5 thousands clicks the buttons will start to click normal again. like your old ones.
