> 3 dayI purchased this mouse as a replacement for a very similar mouse from another maker, which I used for years, but it was ready to retire. So far, I am very pleased with this mouse. Things I like are as follows: - Braided cord glides along nicely with mouse, and no batteries means less weight also contributing to nice gliding movement. - Variable movement resolution buttons behind wheel allow me to optimize it quickly and easily for whatever it is I am doing at any moment. - Simple classic shape, as well as material and textures, feels good in the hand. - Enough buttons to make it versatile, without so many to start getting in the way. The only negative I could give it, can also be a positive, and is really just me getting used to it compared with my old mouse. The two main buttons (left and right MB), are very light to press, and it is easy to click unintentionally, especially right mouse button. I am getting more used to this and it is becoming less of a problem. For gaming, it can be a benefit, as the buttons are so light, they do allow very fast responses to whatever situation. All in all, I am very pleased, and would choose to purchase this mouse again.

Greater than one weekI like the mouse as it works as I had hoped it would. The button press is satisfying and this replace d a very long lived and very much enjoyed mouse. It doesnt have some of the fancier options such as weights but I dont really mind. This is an excellent mouse for the price.

Greater than one weekI was using a Razer Death Adder and the left button was malfunctioning. It was the 5-button, 3500 dpi version and it lasted me a bit over a decade. I had such great success with it that I saw no reason to get anything other than the same one. However, while searching for for the Death Adder, I noticed a V2. I thought, I liked the first version so much that Ill love the second one. Well... it is a nice mouse. It has a nice feel to it, the colors are vibrant, and the wheel is crisp. The buttons are thoughtfully placed and its as if they dont exist when youre not wanting to press them. So Its a good mouse. I download the software to control the colors, and I dont get too excited about the EUA; Ive been using some version of the program for 10 years. However, the only reason I want to give it 4.5 stars is really just a preference thing. Its just a fraction bigger than the Death Adder I was just using. So its not as seamless of a transition as I had hoped. I may return it for a version 1, but will keep it for now to see if I can adjust. The extra few buttons may come in handy someday and like I said, you dont notice theyre there. Update: Returned and ordered the V3. The V3 is near identical to my original mouse except way smoother/faster/lighter. It also doesnt have color/RBG, but Im ok with that as the LEDs make my palm sweat a little. Its perfect for me.

> 3 dayAlthough Ive never cared for the aesthetics or branding (its very tryhard and aimed at teenagers) in of Razer the overall build quality, ergonomics, and responsiveness of the mouse overcome any reservations. This is a wired mouse but unlike traditional hard rubber coated mouse cables this one is wrapped in a soft but sturdy woven material. It makes it so it doesnt noticably resist as traditional mouse cables would which allows for smooth operation and makes for easy cable management. Not having to charge is great and makes the mouse light for its size. The size is fairly large, a bit larger than Im personally used to but not so much that its uncomfortable. For most women or kids it might be too large though. It has lights with presets that can be turned off with Razers software ( that you have to download unfortunately,) if youre into that. I turn mine off or on the lowest setting as I find them distracting. The buttons are nice and clicky and very fast. They are pretty sensitive with very little pressure needed to engage. Useful for gaming but not so sensitive that youll misclick (at least for me). There are 7 main buttons, all programmable, more than most people need but theyre good to have. The mouse wheel is nice and clicky and operates smoothly. The only thing I wish it had was a fast scroll option but this typically more useful when browsing than gaming. Its a compromise that I can understand. The extra buttons vs a 3 button mouse dont get in the way and are useful in a variety of games. I often use them as additional movement buttons. The tracking is very very sensitive if youre used to an office mouse but this is also fully adjustable for your own comfort and ability. The mouse also physically slides very smoothly across a mouse pad. I havent tried it on other surfaces like glass or white tables which traditionally can sometimes give laser mice issues. My only gripe as others have pointed out is the main buttons can be a little bit wobbly if pushed from the side. This isnt something you would do while gaming but again as others as said if you were traveling with it you would want it in a hard case if it has the chance of getting knocked around at all. So overall I would recommend this mouse for pretty much any task or game. It does everything a mouse should do and it does it well.

> 3 dayThese are my favorite mice to use. I dont care for mice that are too complicated or have too many buttons, so this being a basic model is perfect for me. I do have to swap them out about every 3-4 years, but I keep coming back to them!
