> 3 dayIve had the mouse for 2 months now and this is probably the most comfortable mouse in my hand that I have ever bought. The soft but hard texture of the mouse is amazing. Combine that with how your fingers feel encompassed by the buttons with the ergonomic design and it makes for a very enjoyable experience. When I lay my hand on the mouse it feels natural, and apart of my hand, instead of my hand just simply laying on top of it, if that makes sense. And the RGB on the mouse is dope, and in moderation. Top that off with a 50$ price point and I am VERY satisfied with my purchase. I take away 1 star for 4 small reasons that are not deal breakers, but could use some improvement or just things I dont prefer. 1. The 2 buttons for the thumb are too far foward. Instead of my thumb resting in the middle of the 2 buttons making it easy to hit either one, my thumb rests on the center of the button closest to me forcing me to have to stretch my thumb up to the front of 2 the buttoms. Ive gotten used to it now, and it may not be an issue for some, but its something to keep in mind. Also I have big hands, Im a 300lb male (I use this account for prime) and im 64 so it isnt a small hands issue the buttons are just legitly too far forward. 2. There is a slight deadzone when you left click. Not sure if this is really a con, as I believe it has helped me with miss clicking less. However I do prefer an immediate click with no give in the button. None the less it was nothing to get used to it and now I dont even notice it. In fact, it could have even been a calculated design to help with miss clicking since the button itself doesnt need much force to activate a click. Either way, it took some getting used too and is not what I prefer, but its still good. 3. The scroll wheel is not great. This doesnt mean much as most mice I have had didnt have a great scroll wheel. It just feels... cheap and doesnt always like to lock in to place sometimes if you are lightly scrolling on the wheel. Not a major deal though as I said most mice Ive had didnt have great scroll wheels. 4. Most mice have a sound to them while clicking. This mouse sound a bit hollow. When you click it sounds like it resonates in the body of the mouse. I came from a Logitec g203 prodigy mouse and the sound of that mouse made the mouse sound well built, not hollow. Again this is not a deal breaker nor a major issue but it is something to keep in mind. Pros: - Most comfortable mouse in my hand I have ever owned - Very accurate and amazing for gaming - I got it for 49.99 so it was a great deal for such a comfortable, accurate mouse - +200fps because the mouse has RGB :) Cons: - Thumb mouse buttons are a bit too far forward on the mouse - Very slight deadzone when left clicking but nothing serious or anything to worry about - The sound of the mouse/clicks sound hollow. Makes the mouse sound cheaper. But its lightweight so.. - Scroll wheel feels, cheap

> 3 dayAfter six years my original DeathAdder Elite gave up the ghost - one of the switches went. It was a shame because otherwise the mouse held up remarkably well (I did have to re-grease the wheel to get rid of an annoying squeak and replace the skates, but other than that it was great). This new version has multiple improvements. The skates are much better than the originals, on-par with aftermarket. I like the switches more, they are clickier than the old version and it gives a nice tactile experience. Overall a very worthy successor of the old version. The one big drawback - unlike the old version, the new one has no memory of RGB settings without installing and constantly running Razers bloatware. If youre not running Synapse, if your computer is in sleep mode or even just locked, it goes through the garish color cycle display. This is annoying and a big step-back. The old one you could install Synapse, set the color and then disable or remove it. I guess Razer wants to force you to run their bloatware. I found it slightly misleading that they market it as having an advanced onboard memory when they removed the RGB setting storage the old models had... Might be my last DeathAdder if they keep this up...

> 3 dayGreat for desktops, but do not buy for laptops. Razer Synapse 3 will sometimes randomly decide to take 20% cpu usage for no apparent reason which drains the battery of my Lenovo Legion 5 laptop very quickly. However if you are looking for a wireless mouse with replaceable batteries for a desktop computer then this is the best option. I have tried Logitechs G305 which had reliability issues, and Steelseries Rival 3 wireless which had to be woken up every time you left it for 5 minutes and burned through batteries at an alarming rate. The Razer auto wakes itself when you move it (like a wired mouse) and its battery lasts about a week with everyday use. It has so far been far more reliable then the Logitech I had before it. Its really a shame about the software because if the software was better then this would be a perfect mouse. Yet another case of a gaming peripheral being ruined by crap software.

> 3 dayIve always had a problem finding a gaming mouse that will help me aim in shooter games. My last mouses were either too heavy or too small to grip. However, when using the DeathAdder v2, it was a big mouse with a unique shape that fit my hand while being very light for its size. The size and lightness had a positive effect on my tracking and flicking. It is also very affordable and made by Razor which is a well-respected company in the gaming community. So I would not worry about faulty products getting sent. Overall, this is a 10/10 mouse however I recommend using a claw or palm grip. The fingertip grip is kind of awkward due to the shape.

> 3 dayFirst off, I was always skeptical about the hype around Razer products. However, I recently finished my updated PC build and wanted to pair it with a nice mouse and keyboard. For the mouse I decided to pick this one up due to the sale which was $41.99 compared to $69.99. I have to say, after purchasing my first Razer product, I understand the hype! This is a solid, fully customizable, mouse. Very comfortable in hand, especially while gaming. Everything from the performance of the mouse to the RGB lighting settings can be customized within the downloadable Razer interface, as well. Whether you are looking to purchase your first gaming mouse or just upgrading, Id say the DeathAdder V2 is a solid contender!

> 3 dayThere were extremely few computer peripherals that meets my expectation. My original death adder was a surprise because of all the mouse, I kept on preferring wired death adder. I so wanted to cut the cord and move on to wireless. But no wireless was perfect. This new upgraded V2 is just amazing. Razer listens to the customer and only upgraded areas of weakness and left the goodness intact. V2 is BEST MOUSE EVER!!! Bar none. No competition. Key Advantage 1. Weight: Wonderfully light. You can casually lift off the mouse and throw it around on your desk with light flick. You want light mouse, heavy is for computer illiterates. 2. Bottom slider. Original was okay. But with V2 they replaced it will much larger and better slider. Mouse slides on my desk smoother. 3. Light and Flexible cord. I never thought it mattered but V2 has very soft and very light and very flexible USB cord. It is butterfly light and flexible, it doesnt get in the way as heavier non-flexing rubber cables. 4. Textured Grip. Razer added texture on thumb and side grip area. Now the mouse sticks to your hand a lot better than before. It is a minor change but highly noticeable improvement in usability. 5. High DPI. High DPI by itself doesnt really tell the story. I use 2 4K monitor and It is not easy to adjust the DPI setting. This is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Death Adder. It just is buttery smooth even with stock DPI setting. Just in comparison, my Atheris never worked smooth on my setup. Death Adder V2 is THE BEST MOUSE IN THE WORLD. Update After 6 months of use: NO QUESTION IT IS BEST MOUSE AVAILABLE BAR NONE. And yes, I still have to click no on frequent Razer software installation notification. I live with it as a price to pay for using best mouse with relatively expensive price.

23-11-2024I have previous had the Razer Naga mouse for many years. I enjoyed it, but for the games I played it was bulky. I chose the DeathAdder V2 here to streamline my mouse a bit. It is an average sized mouse, its not small, its not huge. I have larger hands and could use a smidge larger, but I cant expect Razer to know my hand size. Has your 2 main buttons, scrollwheel that clicks, and back and forward button, which is all I really need. Also has an Up and Down DPI adjustment button under the scrollwheel (changes tracking speed essentially). They are slightly recessed and smaller and dont get accidently clicked while gaming. You can set the increments the DPI changes on click as well using Razer software. Very responsive, and can definitely hit the 20K DPI advertised. Because it does not have the extra bulk of other gaming mice physically, it feels very light on top of feeling well constructed. This mouse is CORDED ONLY (NO BATTERY), which also contributes to its light weight. Dont expect a wireless version to be as light! The cord is nicely wrapped so it is fabric and not rubber on the outside. Durable feeling material that is also a bit smooth. Recommend a mouse bungee regardless, but I think thats all corded mice, dont hold it against the DeathAdder! And of course, 2 RGB lights (scrollwheel and palm area) that will sync with Razer software. Overall, great for the price. For anyone not looking to blow a ton of money to have a high performing mouse, this is it! It feels/seems basic, but its actually a top notch mouse for anything else in its price range. For those of us who dont need 10-12 extra buttons in the way of our furious clicking.
