> 3 dayAmazon sometimes gives great deals and I happened to be able to get this scooter for half the usual store price. It is a sturdy scooter. It has smaller wheels compared to the newest models but for children, teens, and adults that weigh less than around 200 pounds, it is sturdy and relatively smooth. As a means of getting around it may be better to buy one of the other razor scooters like the A5 Lux but this one is perfect if it is for children or for sidewalk use. It is somewhat tricky getting it to fold and I cant imagine a child being able to do it by their self because it gets stuck easily. The handle bar slides up and down easily. I recommend it.

> 3 dayI remember when these scooters hit the market and became all the rage among children and adults alike. Back then it seemed you couldnt touch one for less than $100 or so. That was about three years ago, I think? My son is now six years old, and many of his friends now find themselves in possession of the Razor scooters that were once cherished by their older brothersand sisters. My son happens to be the oldest in our family, so he hasnt the benefit of older siblings from whom he might have inherited a scooter, and thus he was left with the only viable alternative: he requested one for Christmas. And, happily, as the market has been inundated with Razor Scooters, the price has come down. I think its an excellent value for the $30 we paid. I liked how easy it was to assemble. We needed an allen wrench to attach the handle, but that was all. I like that the handles height is adjustable, and that the construction, overall, seems sturdy. My son is a big fan of the brake on the back wheel. The only concern I have is that the height-adjustable handle will become loose eventually. Rather than having height levels that lock into place, the handles are held at a given height by pressure inflicted by a squeezing clamp. Weve had no trouble with it so far, but it strikes me as being the sort of part that could easily become faulty with too much use. Maybe -- hopefully -- Ill be proven wrong there. Especially since his three younger siblings are hoping to inherit it eventually. ;)

> 3 dayI needed 3 of these for my boys, and of course they had to have their favourite colour. These scooters arrived at my Post office in less than a week at a overseas military address. Scooters were exactly as described. Adjustable height for the handle bars. Capable of folding up to a relatively small size for stowage, or travel. Why the 4 stars as opposed to 5? This is because the handle bar shaft fits somewhat loosely in the neck of the scooter. I would expect it to be of a tighter fit. Every Razor scooter I have ever seen or handled demonstrated this looseness in the neck. Other than that they are great!

Greater than one weekWe love the classic Razor Kick scooters and the pink version is just as good as the rest except...very girly. My son has the red and together our two kids tear up the neighborhood on these things. They help keep the kids active and are considered cool at the same time. The glide is exceptional and the construction sturdy. The handlebars move up and down easily and the scooter is extremely light and portable. It folds for very easy transport. We love these so much that we ordered two extras to be shipped to my parents house in Michigan for our vacation. After a year or two of regular use the wheels will likely wear down, but replacements are easily purchased online for about $10.00. This toy is a great bang for the buck. Highly, highly recommend!

> 3 dayMy granddaughter (5 years old) loves this scooter! It’s sturdy and cute. I gave it a 4 because when I received it the box was wet, open and torn. It had not rained here in Cali. This was a birthday gift so I had planned on wrapping it for her. I ended up just putting a bow on it.

> 3 dayThis has been a great scooter for our 6 year old (who was 5 when we bought it last Christmas.) He rides it every day, which brings me to the only issue weve had with this product so far. The back wheel is completely worn--its actually squared off on the bottom. He does use it quite a bit, but I would have thought the wheel would last at least a year. For the price, though, this is a good product and the rest of the scooter has held up well.

> 3 dayI purchased the Razor A Kick Scooter 3 years ago for my kids. The scooter is very durable and even survived being run over with a car by accident without damage to it. I can hold 200 pound adult but is probably rated for less. == What I liked== - Durable solid construction design. Easy to fold up for storage. Easy to ride for the kids. == What I did not like== The wheels are a hard plastic that get held up on small pebbles or cracks. This transmits a lot of the bumps to the user as well. My kids fell off several times due to the wheels hitting small things that other scooters with softer larger wheels would laugh at. They use it less and less and generally ride their bikes now. == Overall == Good scooter for the price. I dont like that small pebbles and rocks can hang up the forward motion and cause falls. A scooter with larger/softer wheels would surely be a better ride and more tolerant of less then perfect terrain.

> 3 dayI purchased this Razor Scooter as a gift for my 6 year old grandson. This scooter was replacing his old scooter (a different brand) that broke after using for only a short period time. I waited 5 months before writing a review in order to see how well this Razor A Kick Scooter held up in comparison to his old scooter. Well, this scooter is far superior in construction as well as ease of use. It is light in weight (only 6 pounds), and constructed of airplane grade aluminum. It is extremely durable,, able to withstand all that a six year old boy could inflict upon it. It is well balanced and folds up easily, has inline style urethane wheels, and a rear fender brake. I purchased it in the green color to match his new safety helmet. Well, its been 5 months now, and my grandson has put it through the equivalent of an extreme automotive durability test. The Razor A Kick Scooter has passed with flying colors, earning it the Grandma Certificate of Approval.

> 3 dayMy 8 year old daughter wanted a scooter for Christmas so Santa got her the cheap Hello Kitty scooter...within a month the wheels split. So we bought her the Pink A Kick scooter and she loves it. We often go scootering which is basically me walking behind her going Slow down! or Dont go to far! Which gave me the idea of building my own scooter...which you can see pictures of in the Razor Ultra Pro deck for sale elsewhere on Amazon. Anyway, this scooter is perfect for her now, low priced, but very solid build. She currently trying to learn to hop and jump off the curb. I did notice that the stock pink wheels were a bit un-round....not true...I guess...but since I had bought new wheels for my scooter, I decided to try and fit them on her scooter. The stock wheels are 98mm and the wheel I had are Yak Scat II purple on black solid core 100mm wheels. Well the fit with barely enough clearance...not bad. She says the scooter rolls much better...now I need to get Purple grips and Grip tape to match.

> 3 dayI purchased this scooter for my 6 yr old who is moving up from the Razor Jr three wheeled scooter. He is super cautious and not a huge dare devil but wanted one of these as soon as he saw his Sisters older friends had the same one at the skate park. We have had it a few weeks now and he has already learned how to balance on it although he is still a bit cautious. The wheels are very small and hard so its kind of difficult to go on the sidewalk with it because you literally feel every single bump in the street and if you hit a rock youre likely to go flying sideways... We keep to the smooth surface of the skate park and a concrete walkway at our local park and he loves it! Its easy to fold up but small enough that you dont even need to fold it to put it in the car. I like that they come in different colors so he and his sister can tell which one is theirs. Right now the handle is about half way pulled up, so there is still a good bit of room to grow. Im 5 4 and over 150lbs and can easily ride it too, so I know it will last a while... Im hoping that as soon as he gets comfortable with his balance on the scooter, we can transfer that to riding his bike without training wheels!
