OMG! OMG! OMG! This is what my 5 year old said when he opened it. This is the absolutely perfect scooter for someone 5 to 11, as long as they are under 140 pounds. He ran around the entire house all morning (you know what morning) riding it back and forth. For little guys like mine, I suggest a helmet and knee pads at least. He played cops and robbers on his cop motorcycle. He pretended to be racing on it. It is his indispensable favorite gift of 2014. This was even more popular than his train set which was a lot bigger and more expensive. You know you hit a great product when it can with stand the abuse of a 5 year old boy. It is very well made. I expect it to last for years. UPDATE: My son actually crashed because the handle bars are defective. He is okay, but I no longer recommend this for anyone under 8.

Amazon sometimes gives great deals and I happened to be able to get this scooter for half the usual store price. It is a sturdy scooter. It has smaller wheels compared to the newest models but for children, teens, and adults that weigh less than around 200 pounds, it is sturdy and relatively smooth. As a means of getting around it may be better to buy one of the other razor scooters like the A5 Lux but this one is perfect if it is for children or for sidewalk use. It is somewhat tricky getting it to fold and I cant imagine a child being able to do it by their self because it gets stuck easily. The handle bar slides up and down easily. I recommend it.

This is a sturdy scooter with extras. I found other scooters for more money and no tassels or bell. This something the kids can really enjoy and like to show off. I got this for my daughters 3rd birthday and she loved it. We have been using it for 10 months and it has held up well. She is lighter then say an 8 year old and the wheels are in great shape even after our weekly park rides. The Bell and tassels didnt make it after a party with older kids. Im sure if youve hosted a party with tween-agers you know what I mean. I have full confidence she will continue riding this scooter for years to come.

I bought this for my older son, age 9, who has been dying for a Razor scooter for a long time. The quality seems to be durable, and it was easy to use straight out of the box. The handlebars adjust up and down, and our 4 year old has now mastered the Razor as well, thanks to the adjustment. The foam handles are very comfortable, and the wheels seems quite durable as well as stable..... no wobbling here, except when Mom takes a turn. This scooter is simple, straightforward, and easy to use. No bells and whistles, but we bought it for its simplicity. Shipping for this item was quick, (super saver within 4 days), and the scooter is quite light. My children are not the most, agile kids, and this scooter was perfect for them and their abilities. For the price, it is a good deal.

Had the last one for 3 years. Finally one of the handles padding broke off. I was not that much more to buy a new one then to replace the handles. My six year old loves the razor, so does my 4 year old that has her own, and to be honest I think its fun to ride too. Great to go to and from school and fun for our door playtime after school. Great product. One bit of advice, do not leave it out side. It will rust. I place ours in the garage while not in use. Other then that an A + kids toy that provides fun and exercise all at the same time.

My kid (10, tall, thin) has been using this for a year now and is now 11! Razor scooter A is perfect for her. I think shes getting a touch too tall for it now, so Im trying to get her to upgrade, and give this to her 5 year old sister. But she just does not want to let it go. Let it go, let it go....darn! Im never going to get that song out of my head! Awesome scooter. Just buy it. Its exactly as described, and if you must get more details, go to the razor scooter website for the full specs.

Purchased two of these for my son for his fifth birthday, and now Im planning on a third. Seriously they really are fun for the whole family! For being such a light-weight product, the durability is incredible. Also because theyre so light-weight, theyre easy to carry across grass or other obstacles. I will warn you though, even the smallest rocks can make you face plant. And the brakes simply do NOT work if they get even the slightest bit wet. They put the brake on the back of the scooter, making it a little difficult for a small child to use, so may want to stick kind of close to your little one until they figure the brake out. Also, I recommend tennis shoes only while using this product. The scooter is light enough that if you jump off without using the brake or a rock stops you, it can swing around and scrape a foot or an ankle pretty painfully. Oh, and the weight limit lies. My husband is around 180 and rides it just fine so parents, order an extra one for you! ;)

The most important thing is it runs well, although its showing its age: The pretty plastic streamers fall off a little at a time when its used, and we can no longer fold it for storage or retract the handle.

I ordered this looking at kids using this. But later had a feeling that I made a bad decision as my daughter (2 months to 4 years) is too young and has not used any 3 wheel cycle too. But to my surprise she loves this and in a matter of 3/4 days got very comfortable to use this. Its perfect for her. She gets up in the morning and first thing she does is grabbing it and holds on to this until she goes to bed. She goes from room to room with this scooter. And wherever she sits her cycle is next to her :-) Having said this, the scooter is just OK (after the height is adjusted) for adults. It keeps shaking and sometimes hard to balance. But I know, its not intended for adults. The brake should have been better with rubber friction than the aluminum pressing the back wheel directly, this would give a good grip. And there could be some rubber coating on outer side of the scooters base. It hurts whenever we unconsciously stumble on the scooter. The other sides are OK as its mostly rounded and smoothed; only the base has edges. I am saying this because this is meant for kids and good chances for them to put it haphazardly and we have practically experienced getting hit. I am not sure if you guys will agree with me. Anyway thanks for reading, and I recommend this for kids of 4-7 year age.

The Razor™ A folding kick scooter offers a fast and fun ride that easily folds down for storing or transport. The heat-treated, aircraft-grade aluminum construction includes a rear fender friction brake, folding handlebars and an enhanced finger guard. 98mm inline style wheels with ABEC 5 bearings provide a smooth ride. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
