First, I am not happy that it is made in China. That being said, I am very impressed with it. My Son talked me into the Real Avid AR armorers tool set and I was impressed. I have since added their driver set. The quality of these tools led me to take the plunge on the vise. I am very happy with my purchase. It truly is a great tool. I really put it to use this weekend and kept telling my Son how happy I was with it while we were working on a project that required me to constantly move the works position. The quick lock lever and pivoting head are AWESOME. I do not say this lightly. The only way that it could be better would be to be made here but I doubt that the quality could be any better. These tools are not the Chinese crap that we have come to know. Sorry to anyone offended by that but you know of what I speak.

locks solid easy to use

I mounted this on a portable 1” thick bamboo table in a work room in house. Vise functions well, easy to mount, have been using for a variety of stock work, tool work, and craft work. Wish I had this vice many years ago…. Now I need one in the garage for outdoor and garage work !!!!

Solid vice. Love the versatility to tilt and turn. Makes working on firearms so much easier. I bought a cheap model and threw it away...glad I got this one!

A vise that allows you to work on your firearm in easy to reach positions. It allows you to put the firearm in positions that make working on the firearm easy and is very sturdy. If you have not gotten one I suggest you look into getting one.

WELL MADE & VERSATILE ABLE TO MOVE OBJECTS IN VARIOUS POSITIONS.

If you can not get it in to position to do work on , you dont need to work on anything

I love this vice. It isnt inexpensive but worth every penny. Very useful and easy to Work with. Did I say I love it.

This vise was very thoughtfully constructed! Loaded with handy features you will definitely appreciate during your next build.

The vice is nicely built, with a ball joint that lets you angle the vice and protective jaws so you dont damage the piece your working on. The jaws are made of aluminum and has reversible covers with one side foam and the other plastic. The Ball joint is a bit greasy so if your cutting or filing material on the vice I would imagine the shavings would get all stuck in the grease.
