This has everything you need to make sure your AR and other weapons have their barrels tightened down securely, as well as protecting the weapon itself. This thing is awesome. I kept having to remind myself I don’t need to reach and bend and twist to get to certain parts of my firearm. Quick and easy adjustments and great for quickly leveling. Just used it to clean a gun and mount a scope and it worked like a charm.

Just as expected

This is a multipurpose vise. Originally purchasds for DIY gun smithing - scope mounting, cleaning, mounting accessories, new barrels, stocks and custom hardware etc. This vise is more… I use it for woodworking, sharpening tools and knives, changing out farm implement handles, de-rusting and polishing, spray painting, bending rebar, repairing varmint traps, and straightening metal stakes. The value in this vise is the versatility and heavy duty applications. It is a work horse and my Go-To vise on the farm. Highly recommended. Just buy it - not just for a gun vise - you will be glad you did. It completes the workshop!

Great vice for any hobby shop. Well made.

I expected a chintzy Chinese product but this is a very solid, well made tool made with precision machining. It will probably not take abuse from a sledgehammer, but will work just fine for gunsmithing and small engine repair.

Great vise, long overdue. Can even support a 82-A1, as advertised.

The vice is nicely built, with a ball joint that lets you angle the vice and protective jaws so you dont damage the piece your working on. The jaws are made of aluminum and has reversible covers with one side foam and the other plastic. The Ball joint is a bit greasy so if your cutting or filing material on the vice I would imagine the shavings would get all stuck in the grease.
