Im still getting used to this board, so I may update this with an extra star in time. So far so good, the switches are wonderful if you want something loud, and I mean LOUD! These are Outemu switches, which are clones of Cherry MX Blues. These are definitely louder than Cherrys, so just be aware. If you want a clicky, tactile switch, these are the ones. Key caps are nice, I think maybe a bit more curve to them could have done them justice, but Im not complaining. No mush with these, youll want an accurate, straight type of depress to get the most out of this key board. May have to raise your key punches a bit more than typical boards where you can sort of roll over to the next key instead of striking with command thats required for accurate strokes with this key board. Again, Im still getting used to it and the tall key caps, so this may be on my part. The RBG choices are plentiful and beautiful, from solid colors to rainbow, and even changing direction, you cant go wrong if you like colors. The key caps themselves light up, as well as a boarder around the keys. Lighting level is adjustable as well. So far, for the price, Im beyond satisfied. I mentioned this in another review, but you can not go wrong with Redragon if you want to avoid paying double, sometimes triple the cost for a good key board. One tier adjustable height with legs, built in cord board side, but theres screws so I assume you could detach the cable from the board if you so choose. F1 through F12 are your media controls if thats what youre looking for. Overall, I recommend this board by far if you want something clicky, tactile, and loud. If you want a similar feel but quieter, take a look at Browns and other switches. Oh and it does not bend, quality is top notch for the price, and Im not saying that as if you should expect a compromise in quality, this is a fine product and worth every dollar.

I’ve been using a large keyboard for years, and thought this would be great for just games & putting around when I don’t need a number pad. The mechanics of the keyboard might not be technically perfect but boy does it feel great! I’ve been typing on keyboards since the Atari 800 & have an original IBM AT keyboard & an Apple Extended II that I use for the mechanical feel. I also picked up an original spec IBM keyboard redesigned for USB from a company in Florida that’s a tank and feels amazing. The problem is the size! When I put this little beauty on my desk, it was like opening the windows in a room; so much space! And it does feel wonderfully mechanical- you can even pull the switches with the included puller and replace them later on - sort of a starter kit for a DIY keyboard of your own design. And the colors are nice - I just set it to a universal solid color but you can do all sorts of things not mentioned in the box - like individual key colors besides the included effects and mixups. There’s some pretty cool ‘sonar’ effects too, but it’s distracting :) nice to have the option though! Overall, this is a great value and improved gaming just because of the space it gives you back! Highly Recommended!

I will definitely not buy blue switches (tactile) again. The feel is great but they are sooo loud compare to reds (linear). Otherwise if you like the sound for some odd reason and want a dirt-cheap, colorful and loud keyboard then this is for you! Note, another keyboard from the same brand I have with linear switches already had the W key wear out so I dont believe these switches will have the same durability/longevity that leading brand switches will have. These keyboards are repairable though if youre half-decent with a soldering iron!

This KB came highly recommended as a great starter for someone wanting to get into the world of mechanical keyboards. Seeing as I am in that bracket I can say that I agree! It gives you a lot of what makes MKBs appealing for a very good price. Ill give the positives first but I do have some gripes. Its very solidly built, like you could kill somebody with this thing. The light modes and customization are very nice for a sub 50 dollar KB and on that note the RGB (for the most part) is very bright and vivid! And probably the biggest appeal to me as someone starting off is that this is hot swappable which allows you to get a feel of what switches you really like without much hassle. Feels great to type on and with the legs out is very grippy to whatever surface you have it laying on. Now for my gripes, and these are less quality and more my opinion. For being a wired kb a braided cable would be a much appreciated improvement. I know this is personal but I hate the bar with the logo on it so much, and I wish this just wasnt a thing on the kb at all. Its garish like the annoying decals a dealership puts on the car youre paying for. The keycaps arent the worst but they block a lot of the RGB light which getting new keycaps will reveal to you. All the colors are nice on the RGB EXCEPT white, which is almost lavender with the stock keycaps. And probably the worst thing about this keyboard is that it does not have a working driver to customize its RGB in a program. It just hasnt been fixed by Red Dragon at all.

Ive only had this keyboard for slightly over 9 months and there have been a few problems and I have already replaced this with a better-quality keyboard. I had serval keys ghost. (not register when pressed) Some of these keys include keys such as A, X, and Q, these keys are used a lot when gaming but not as much as others. Along with that, the Anti Dust is a nowhere near the truth. Im one who keeps my desk area neat and tidy, and dust started to gather after a few weeks of use. In addition, the cheap version of cherry mx switches called Otemu switches that are used in this board are subpar. They are loud and noisy, the springs can be heard when pressing them, and they also seem to echo throughout the shell. Personally, I would not recommend this to anyone who is an avid gamer, works from home, or does a lot of typing. If youre the person who just wants a cheap keyboard that lights up, then this is for you.

Im not a fan of the loud ass clank but I guess thats what happens with mechanical keyboards. Other than that the keyboard is amazing, it looks great, the LEDs are bright as all balls... the feel is nice. There is some rubber padding at the bottom of the keyboard to stop it from moving with a rotateable stand to raise/slant the view of the keyboard. I did find however that if you close the rotating stands, the rubber isnt very strong and tends to move a lot but if you extend the stands, the gibbering at the extended stand is much stronger due to a high rubber pinch causing it to not move nearly at all... But yeah thats about it... you can replace the keys if you want and the clicky sounds is just so loud tho.... Anyway its good. 10/10

Bought this keyboard to try out a tkl. I figured it was only $45 dollars so why not. After spending a week using it I can confidently say that this is probably the best keyboard you will get for the money you pay. Its made of plastic but has a metal plate with plastic casing around it for a solid build. Little to no flex. The switches are great. Ive had blues for a long time and I cant really feel a difference in the two. The sound is more like a green switch but the feel is like a blue. They key caps are double shot with a little texture on it. Definitely wasnt expecting decent key caps at this price. The key presses feel solid and of good quality. The stabilizers for the keys are very high quality and are similar to what you would see on a corsair board. There is little to no wiggle at all on the shift key when pressed down. The back lighting is great for this price point. It has well over 10 different lighting modes including solid color back light. To get the solid color back lighting all you do is push FN+ins three times then FN+ right arrow to select the color. There is not a solid white color but there is a light blue. To get per key lighting you have to push FN+tilde key (the key just to the left of the the number 1 key) twice, then use FN+right arrow to select the color, then press the key you want that color on. This is not mentioned in the user manual so I figured I would put it in this review. There are floating keys on this board but they are enclosed by a plastic casing around the perimeter. However, the keys are left open in the middle making it super easy to clean. The only thing this keyboard truly lacks is a detachable cable (I almost took a star off for that. Its the only thing I dislike about this board). Overall this keyboard is well worth the money and I would have easily paid $60 dollars for it. That is all, thanks.

This is a good decent quality real deal mechanical KB. Mechanical - referring to the switches under each key cap. Theres a good chance youve never used a mechanical keyboard if you are young so this KB will feel extra nice. Each key has a satisfying *click with tactile feedback. Youll never feel like you havent pressed a key because youll know with the audible click and the bump you feel. The RGB is very nice and bright. There are several animations to play with which can be used as one solid color or what I call RGB mode so you get all the colors in the animation. For example you can do a matrix style animation in green, or red, yellow, orange, blue, purple, pink, or RGB. The matrix rain will go through all the colors randomly and the rain tracer will too as it fades before another drop comes through. Ive owned this for several months now and havent noticed any issues with the keys or the lighting. And Im not a light touch typer. Coworkers often exclaim that they know when Im at work cuz they can hear me typing and it isnt because Im using this clicky keyboard at work. However, I like this keyboard for home so much that I bought another Redragon but the 104 key model this time to take to work. The mushy rubber dome KB provided by work is so very lacking and noticeable when I get home to type/game.
